Villa pinara is a beautiful villa with everything you need.
It's immaculately clean with 3 good sized bedrooms upstairs - each with plenty of storage space. I believe the sofas in the lounge can be converted to beds but we have never used them.
The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of plates bowls cutlery etc for a large group. There's a big fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The owner even provides a large drum of bottled water with pump dispenser in the kitchen - it's great for cooking/ washing salads etc.
The pool outside is cleaned regularly by the gardener - so is kept in immaculate condition.
There is a built in charcoal barbecue and good quality solid wood pool furniture if you want to eat outside.
There is also a sheltered " undercover" area at the side of the house with dining table and chairs - great for slightly windy evenings ( we were there sept / October) so you can still enjoy eating outdoors. Shopping for food and barbecues is easy in Kas. There is a Migros in town and at the marina.
Pinara location is perfect from our perspective. There are great views from the balconies and the pool - but the villa is only steps away from the small road that runs all the way round the peninsula. Extremely convenient for the bus into town which runs like clockwork every half hour. We never noticed any road noise in the villa or by the pool - so - perfect for us.We saw other villas on the peninsula which are at the bottom of very steep hills - a challenging climb up if you want to take the bus!
Although we hired a car to get around and explore and buy groceries we would get the bus into town at night - last bus back is midnight and if you are out later - taxis are about 6 or 7 pounds ( and there is always one at the rank.)
The booking process is incredibly easy and straightforward. The owner, Costa responds quickly to emails and is very well informed and helpful. He is able to recommend car hire and transfers - and even offered to contact the company for us. He is a pleasure to deal with - very straightforward but charming.
Kas itself is a beautiful town. Although low key it is buzzy with loads of varied restaurants and bars. There are so many extremely good restaurants!
Although certainly not a " party " place there are late night bars open if you fancy a late drink - so there is every option.
We have stayed at Villa Pinara 3 years running now - and will certainly be back again next year - I suspect that speaks for itself!
Kas, has a wonderful night life with a great variety of restaurants and bars that stay open until the early hours.
There are many shops selling carpets. leather goods, 'Designer' labels, clothes, Iznik ceramics etc.
Apart from swimming, activities include: paragliding, diving (some of the best in Turkey), Jeep safaris, sailing, cruising, sea and river kayaking, walking, cycling
Nearby, there is Patara Beach which has been named a with World Heritage Site. Consequently, no building is allowed here and the result is a 18 Km of unspoilt sandy beach. alternatively, there are Big and Little Pebble beaches within 10 minutes of the Villa.
If History is preferred, then the surrounding area with its abundance of Roman and Lycian ruins will prove unforgettable. The whole area is renowned for it’s Roman and Lycian ruins with Amphitheatres, Saccopheggae, Moasics etc. all with one hour drive of Villa Xanthos
A holiday in Kas can be as peaceful and relaxing as you like or, alte
