Newly renovated, appointed, and ready to welcome you, this condo is a convenient drive to SugarBush and Mad River Glen as well as the towns of Warren and Waitsfield, VT. Also pet friendly, this is a rare find in the valley. Roll out the back door to the Hostel Tevere for dinner or drinks. (We also own the Moosetracks condo. Currently rented for the season.)

It is important to note that each condo unit is privately owned and managed and reviewers should review each unit individually (by unit number) as quality could vary. Also worthy of mention, as a regular visitor, I have seen the property change greatly in just three years. Major improvements have been made and continue to be made. These include a brand new security fence around the pool, security codes on the outside doors and a brand new hot tub. I've met the very diligent property manager that treats the property as his own. I am very happy to stay at this property. But again, this is not a hotel, it is a condo complex. No different than renting an apartment. And each is owned privately.

Perfect for us

Simple condo with only a small kitchenette but more than sufficient room in BR and LR. Everything clean, fairly new and in good condition. Everything worked well, from TV to stove. Unit is in a 4 condo block, 2 up, 2 down. I heard kids partying late in next door unit but my kids didn't. Small water heater so don't expect long showers for multiple people.

Owner's Response: James, thank you for the nice review. My apologies for the water heater. It's actually a brand new 40 gallon tank. But I suspect that the plumber set it very low as he did the same thing in our other unit. I'll be sure to crank it up a bit to resolve that issue. Typically, the shower is actually amazingly relaxing after a long day.

Cozy, warm, relaxing and a real taste of Vermont

This particular apartment is a great base for our girl's weekend. We learned that each apartment in the complex is a privately owned condo, so quality varies and it's important to rent (and review) a particular unit in this mystery condo, as one person's unit 15 might be nice and another unit might be terrible. It was clean, nicely appointed and recently renovated, with a nice kitchen nook, a bedroom with a king bed and a living room with pullouts. It was clean and neat, and the owner was very nice. It's a 1-minute walk from the separately-owned restaurant, which to my surprise had excellent food and a good beer/wine selection. It's a short drive to the nice general store in Warren, a great massage place, some cute little restaurants (including the movie theater restaurant - a must-go) and great hiking. We slept 3 and it was very comfortable and relaxing. I'd definitely come here again. I LOVE Vermont and this was a no-hassle, easy and affordable way to be a part of a beautiful state, at least for a short time. I highly recommend this apartment!

Another Great Weekend

The convenience and proximity to the local attractions has brought me to this unit several times before, however this time I found it just as easy not to go out. Having a restaurant / bar and a hot tub attached to the property as well as an appointed kitchenette made this a great and comfortable solution to relaxing on a working weekend. The property owners have always been easy to communicate with and even recommended some new activities nearby.

The new pictures are spot on, except the unit didn't have the mystery dog in it when I stayed (which is okay because they let you bring your own pets!) I should have just left my things in the unit because I will probably be back soon.

Cozy condo with wonderful owners

My family had a wonderful stay at Unit 15 (Moosetracks). The owners are responsive and easygoing and made the rental process totally seamless.

The condo itself is wonderful. Perfect for a ski weekend. It's cozy, but has enough room for hanging out. I wanted a place where we could put all of our ski gear, have places to sleep, and be convenient to skiing at Sugarbush, and this place had it all. The pictures of the master bedroom bed don't do it justice, it's ENORMOUS, we could have fit 3 adult women in that bed no problem. The wifi was fast and reliable.

It was a joy driving to the slopes in the morning- the access road to Sugarbush is literally around the corner from the condo. The drive from the condo front door to the Sugarbush parking lot is about 5 minutes.

The kitchen in the condo is small, as you can see in the pictures, but it was perfect for us for a weekend. A fridge for some beer, and our leftover food from dinner that we could heat up for breakfast. Plus, a coffeemaker - and there were filters and coffee actually in the condo (How many times in the past have I stayed at rental places where I find myself purchasing 250 coffee filters at the store to use 3? TOO MANY TIMES. This was not one of them.). There's a gas station 2 minutes down the road with an extensive market in it where you can stock up on the essentials like half and half and/or Diet Coke.

There are some wonderful restaurants around. American Flatbread has the most phenomenal pizza in a fantastic rustic Vermont setting. That's about 5 minutes down the road. We also had a great dinner at Hyde Away Inn & Restaurant, about 10 minutes away, with a lot of filling winter meals like meatloaf and chicken pot pie. The best part was that Hostel Tevere was right out the back door- a classic bar that was great for a drink before bed. They had a live bluegrass band playing on Friday night and it was a great scene of people coming together to enjoy the area.

It was such a joy to stay at Moosetracks and the owners could not have been nicer. They were super responsive to emails, questions, and requests. I hope to come back when the snow is a little better, and I'll definitely be staying here when I do.

The best stay I have had in the valley so far!

LOVE THIS CONDO! As a frequent visitor to the area, I will absolutely stay here again. My family and I recently stayed at this condo for a ski weekend and had a great time. It was a perfect home base for the four of us (my husband, myself and our 2 kids) while we were away. As the non-skier of the family, I was able to curl up on the couch, relax and read a good book while the family skied their days away at the mountains. (In fact, while all of the skiers were gone, I got the hot tub all to myself!) The condo is very cozy and decorated with local finds from the area. It has a really warm feel. You know that you are in VT for sure! Best of all, it was great to have a separate space for ourselves when it was time to turn in. (We stayed in the bedroom and the kids in the living room. As usual, it was pretty tough to tear them away from their laptops.) While we took advantage of a few of the restaurants in the surrounding area for dinners, it was great to be able to cook breakfast and lunch at the condo to save some money. It gets pretty pricey for a family of four to stay up there and ski all weekend. We even opened up the table and played some of the board games that the owners supplied!

On the last night, we took advantage of the onsite restaurant and met the proprietors while we were there. The atmosphere is super fun, very friendly and the food is to die for. All of it is locally sourced and very fresh. I would highly recommend the clam chowder!

It would be pretty hard to find a better value in the area. The amenities are great and the unit has been recently renovated. The owners keep the unit very well-appointed and they offer free wifi which can be scarce in many of the area lodgings. I will gladly stay here again. One note: No one should have apprehensions about the pet-friendly designation. We don’t have pets and found that this place is very well kept.

Sleepy Hollow is the affectionate name of our rental condo located in Warren, VT. It is conveniently located just 3 miles from the base of Sugarbush Ski Resort and 8.4 miles from Mad River Glen Ski Area. It is also a short drive to the Bolton Valley, Smugglers Notch and Stowe ski areas. Therefore, a reasonable alternative to mountain accommodations. (We also own the Moosetracks condo in the same complex. Currently rented for the season.)

Recently updated, this condo has all the conveniences and comforts of home while you are away. A great place to relax after a long day of skiing, hiking, swimming...Centrally located in picturesque Warren, VT, it provides accesiblity to all that the Mad River Valley offers from quaint farmer’s markets and local shops, to snowshoeing, hiking, skiing, kayaking, biking, leaf peeping and more. Take a dip in the pool in the summer or try out one of the local swimming holes to really feel like a local. Don’t miss our antique shops, the Ben & Jerry’s factory or a scenic drive to Burlington.

This is truly a spot for every season! And now, with the addition of Hostel Tevere to the property, guests have access to on-site dining for dinner as well as a full bar and entertainment. (weekends only).
