Paradise Rentals - Hamlet Oasis Villa 10
We spent Christmas week in December 2017 at the Hamlet Oasis Villa 10 managed by Paradise Rentals Bonaire. Zwanet was extremely helpful from the time we booked through the day we departed for our return home. Our family consists of 8 adults (4 couples) and the villa could easily accommodate 2 more couples. Each couple had their own room with an ocean view balcony or patio and a bathroom/shower, therefore lots of privacy for everyone. The kitchen is well equipped with all the dishes, glasses, utensils and cookware you require. There are two refrigerators, two ovens, a gas stove top, microwave and dishwasher. The exterior was just as nice with a large dining room table, barbecue and plenty of outdoor furniture to enjoy the beautiful view of the ocean. We had direct access to the water and to “The Cliff” dive site. Dive Friends Bonaire have an outlet on the premises and we had fantastic service from them. A small grocery store with all the basics and more, Rum Runners and Ingridients are all in walking distance. We would, however, recommend either renting a car or arranging for a driver so that you can explore the national park and Bonaire’s numerous shore dive locations. Keep in mind the beach in front of the house is made up of rocks and shells so beach shoes can come in handy. All in all, “paradise” - we’re already looking forward to coming back. Thanks Zwanet and Rob!

Could not have asked for better!
We have come to Bonaire quite a few times over the last 7 years, and always stayed at a dive resort. The convenience seemed greater than anything a house could offer. I actually argued against this house, and I have never been so happy to be wrong! I don't even know where to start.
First off, let's talk about the house itself. The pictures online just don't do it justice. It is large and spacious and comfortable - perfect for a large group. There are 6 bedrooms, each with a private bath. It is missing the one crappy room someone always gets stuck with... there is not a bad choice of any of them. All have a slider to a patio or balcony with a sea view, all have king/2 twins. What was remarkable about this home was the quiet. I would wake in the morning and think I was the only person up, only to go to the kitchen and find everyone else up and laughing, breakfast preparation in full swing. This is priceless when on vacation with a large group of people with different routines and schedules - the feud of the morning people vs. night owls isn't a problem here! Two refrigerators seemed a bit much but in the end it was super convenient to have all that space. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Parking out front was more than sufficient, and the multiple gear lockers right by the truck parking was also very convenient.
The location is SPECTACULAR. The seating area by the water is perfect, and the diving right out the back step was equally impressive. Evenings, about 5pm, a group of smaller turtles comes and frolics in the surf right out back. Every evening, we would all gather out there with a beverage and enjoy the show. In the morning, large parrot fish play in the same surf. The pool is literally one house down.
A nice house isn't that great if the management isn't very good, and I can't say enough about Rob and his team. They were supposed to meet us at the airport with the key, but we changed the plan at the last minute - no problem! They adjusted accordingly. We had trouble with the gear lockers on the 2nd morning - no problem! Someone was there within the half hour to fix it. We locked ourselves out of the safe the night before departure - no problem! Rob came and opened it for us first thing. The entire staff was wonderful.
There is only one downside to staying at this house, and unfortunately it is a big one. You see, you will have to leave. I promise you, you will not want to leave.
See you next year Hamlet # 10!
Had a wonderful Visit!!
A group of 9 friends and I stayed at Hamlet 10 from September 5th until September 12th. We had a blast!
The villa is gorgeous, has pretty much all the amenities we needed. The kitchen is fully loaded with all of the appliances anyone would need for their stay in Bonaire. The backyard is spacious and leads to the perfect snorkeling area. It is a very secure / safe neighborhood that is close to some restaurants, nice dive companies and since everything is relatively close to each other, getting groceries was a breeze as well.
The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and we had towels available as well as a washing manny and dryer in case we needed to wash our towels during our stay. The common area was great for our large group as there is plenty of comfortable seating available and we had many group meals and played a lot of games at the large table outside at the back of the house.
There was a safe available for all of our personal belongings such as passports, important documents, Jewelry and money, which was very useful. Checkout was very easy and we really loved everything about Hamlet 10.
Lastly, working with Rob was great as he was very attentive to our needs. When we first arrived, one of the guests locked their keys in their room by mistake and he rushed over to help us open the door.
I highly recommend you check out the location for your stay at Bonaire.
The Villa is a fantastic house to rent if you have a big family or come as a group since every bedroom has its own bathroom (privacy !!! ) and there is ample space indoors or outside so you are not piled on top of each other.
The whole house is in a superb shape (2 fridges so the beer stays always cold) and you do not have to leave the property ever since one of the best snorkel and dive spots is directly in front of the terrace easy accessible through stairs.
Your vacation starts the minute you enter the house !!!
This area is very interesting for divers, as just a few steps away from the villa lies the dive site, 'Cliff', with its easy shore entrance. To make diving even easier, there is a dive operation onsite. You can snorkel here, swim, hang out in the sun and go and have a nice pizza for lunch at the nearby restaurant Rum Runners. It is a very small drive out to town with its shops and restaurants.
