One of the best views of Lake Bomoseen, very peaceful and the privacy was what we were looking for!

  • 5 of 5

We recommend this house to rent to everyone... the house was newly renovated and exactly what we needed. The view is more than you could ask for! We had a wonderful time and hope to visit again. Thank you to Bob & Michel for having such a beautiful property & taking such good care of it. I grew up on the lake and can honestly say it is one of the best places to stay!

Very nice

  • 4 of 5

House was perfect for the 3 of us. Great location on the lake. Very private. Great fire pit. It was very hot when we got there so the many fans in the house were nice to have. Bathrooms were updated and very nice. The only thing I would suggest is a couple of towel racks in the bathrooms.

Great cottage, beautiful views and wonderful time

  • 5 of 5

This cottage was just what we needed for a "reunion" for four college buddies. The weather for the second week in September was beautiful. We were able to enjoy the deck, fire pit and gas grill. The view down the lake was relaxing and the kayaking was a trip down memory lane. I had vacationed off of Float Bridge Road as a young girl, teenager and young adult. Enjoyed the bird watching, walks around the area and meeting friendly neighbors. We also liked the nearby restaurants and attractions. This was a trip to remember and this hideaway cottage was a terrific place to meet and relax. Thanks for the use of this wonderful place and I would definitely consider renting again in the future.

Best Ever

  • 5 of 5

This is the best cottage on Lake Bomoseen with owners that are the best. All the updates are fantastic!! When our umbrella broke, the owners brought a new one the next day. When a child left her kitty pillow behind, the owners were quick to help us out. It was a fun week of sunshine, fishing, tubing, swimming and enjoying each other. Can't wait until next year!!!

Perfect place to relax

  • 5 of 5

The Rustics Lake house was quaint yet had modern amenities. The property is gorgeous, private with a stunning view of the lake, nice breezes too. We were a little concerned with no ac but had nothing to worry about with those nice breezes, cooler evenings, and fans. It had a nice dock for our boat rental and a fantastic fire pit area. I loved being able to walk to my sister's rental property across the lake from us for morning coffee. A great surprise was an ice cream boat that came to our dock if we chose! We'd definitely rent here again some time.

Perfect lake vacation

  • 4 of 5

The property is right on the lake and gets all day sun! Be aware that you can not rent a boat from the local marina regardless of your age unless you have a Vermont license....makes it impossible for out of state visitors :( The fishing is excellent- for a wonderful guide/charter call Rod Start. He knows every inch of the lake and the town's history as well. There is beautiful wildlife including herons, bald eagles, osprey, ducks, otters, turtles etc. The dock is nice but a bit narrow if you are all trying to hang out there. Swimming can be done but the milfoil (weeds) are significant.

The house has been recently refinished and is clean, sunny and nicely decorated. Could use a couple of side tables as kitchen counter space is limited when cooking. The outdoor fire pit is awesome!
