Wow! Biggest beach on the lake! This is a peaceful home on the quiet end of Wiggins lake. The home has a real cottage feel to it. It also has a nautical theme throughout as well as a large kitchen with a beautiful harvest table and very nice sized family room. Home is very well kept and clean. Brand new mattresses. (New May 1st 2015.) Guest house (3rd Bedroom) with lovely lake views! It will provide sleeping area for 6-10 guest. There is a great lake view from the family room/living room for an awesome sunrise. Wiggins is a great lake to catch pike and bass. There are some big ones. Swim, water ski, tube or jet ski. In the evening take slow boat ride and listen to the call of the loons. There are many coves for exploring. Also available to rent is rent my beautiful 2012 bennington pontoon. If golf is your game, gladwin's golf course is 1 mile away. Also canoe the cedar river. It is very scenic and close by. You are dropped off up river and finish where you park

We were so very fortunate this year. Our neighbor offered to sell us her lake home as she needed to move on because of her age. After we closed on the property we did several improvements to make it as enjoyable for our visitors. We also re- constructed the beach front area and brought in 60 yards of sand. Lots for the kids to play in!
This home has a beautiful veiw of the lake, a large yard and the homes on our street have large yards for playing. You are not crammed together like many lakefronts. Our end of the lake is very queit with little boat traffic
We stayed the weekend at this nicely refinished home. What a kitchen! The theme rooms were adorable, the nautical and swan rooms were very special. The beach was beautiful and wow what a view. The beds and furniture were very confortable and the baths and shower heads were awesome. I feel spoiled now. Everything you need is right at your finger tips. We packed way too much. We will definitey be back this summer with some friends and we are going to rent the pontoon too. Very nice boat.
We enjoyed every second of our vacation!! The home is beautiful very clean and decorated very nicely! The beds were super cozy 2! :) the extra bunk house was great for our family my sister in law had a great separate place!! We rented the pontoon and docked out on the sand bar all week long! The house does have the best beach on the lake!!!!! Thanks for sharing your home! :)
Great rental! Especially for the price. We were in town for a wedding at crooked river and the location was perfect. 12 minute ride to the venue and 5 minutes into town. Very clean and accomodating.
The owner was very available to us when we had questions. The home and the guest quarters were as expected...very clean and roomy. The pontoon was very fun and we enjoyed it alot! The grandsons liked the sandy areas for play and we liked the swings and patio! The only thing our owner would not be able to fix was the fishing in the lake. We tried a wide variety of lures/bait/times of day/ locations on the lake and to no avail (only 1 keeper but mostly small catch and release ones or nothing at all). All things considered we probably won't return to this lake, but if fishing isn't what you are going there for then I definitely recommend this home and its amenities!!
We liked the view, the boat, the beds were comfy, and the cottage was nice. The bathrooms were especially nice. The fishing was great right off the dock, we also caught 2 pike and 1 bass on the lake, but the bluegill off the dock kept the kids fishing all week. The kitchen had what we needed as far as pans and utensils. The house was roomy enough that our 2 families had their own space yet could gather if we wanted.
Having grown up on a lakefront property, we are pretty tough critics, but I have to say that this one lived up to most of our expectations. There was plenty of comfy indoor space when we needed it, but the deck and beach area take the cake. We loved the size of the lake for cruising and anchoring on the sandbar for swimming was fun too. The only downside is that the swimming area in front of the house is quite small, but that is easy enough to work around if you rent the pontoon and take a 5 minute boat ride. The boat is all set up with an anchor, all you gotta do is pack your cooler and tubes, and you are ready to go. The proximity to various things to do around the state is really nice too. We were able to day trip to Tawas, Houghton Lake, and tube down the Cedar River right in Gladwin! Would definitely rent this place again!

Enjoy some Ice Cream at The Corner House only ten minute from the Home, YUM-Yum. Small Town of Gladwin has many shops for the ladies to go treasure hunting. Sure to please all.
