As our house is classified as a long-term rental under local ordinances, only one group of renters will be able to rent it during any 30 day period. Longer periods welcome.

* Whole DOWNSTAIRS of house with own entrance, own lanai.
* Close to contest site at Sunset Beach with bikes to avoid contest traffic
* Free wifi & cable TV
* TVs in lounge and both bedrooms (3 total).
* Free onsite parking for one car on side of driveway inside locked gates.
* Two minute bike ride to beach or five minute walk (500 yards)
* Two bedrooms with two ensuite bathrooms with door locks.
* Lounge/Dining area with table for dining or a desk and TV.
* Two tables and chairs outside for dining on lanai as per photo.
* Kitchenette with undercounter fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle.
* Electric grill/bbq kettle on lanai
* Ceiling fans and sliding glass doors from all rooms to lanai.
* Own private access and own private lanai.
* USE OF THE WHOLE OF THE DOWNSTAIRS AND THE LANAI ALL ACROSS THE FRONT OF THE PROPERTY AS SHOWN IN THE PHOTO.
* Four Bicycles & beach gear & towels provided.
* No pets due to family allergies.

Rented out only in the autumn/winter months. (Full house rented out rest of the year on #687687). Only the 4 people listed on the agreement attached may be at the property at any time. Quiet, residential area near Sunset beach to chillax! Owners in top half of house with two separate entrances.

Imagine yourself relaxing on the lanai (deck) in a place of peace and tranquility to recharge your batteries.

LANAI: the 400 sq ft private lanai runs across the front of the accommodation, accessed from the lounge and both bedrooms. Outside each bedroom there are 2 chairs and a table for breakfast on the lanai or drinks while you watch the sun set over Kaena Point. There are also sun loungers and an electric kettle barbeque.
OUTDOOR SHOWER – Hot and cold shower with ocean views!
GARDEN – the house is set on a one-acre lot, with lawn out front for kids to enjoy.
PARKING – In front of the house next to the driveway.

CONVENIENCE & COMFORT: We provide bath towels, beach towels, linen, bicycles, portable beach chairs, snorkel and fin sets, beach umbrella, kids buckets & spades and small cooler bags for your cold drinks. Our custom-made beds all have high-end mattresses that make for nights of comfort and rest. High quality fans in the lounge and both bedrooms ensure comfort when the trade breezes are taking a break.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS: The North Shore of Oahu has something for everyone. Whether it be surfing, watching the famous Pipe Masters competition in December, visiting the Polynesian Centre, ziplining, playing golf at the Arnold Palmer designed course at Turtle Bay, deep sea fishing, learning to surf, bike riding, shark diving, visiting the Waimea Valley Falls botanical paradise, beach walking, running or visiting the shops in the historic town of Haleiwa 10 minutes drive away, there is something for everyone.

EATING OUT; Eating out is varied and interesting. At Turtle Bay there is Lei-Lei’s on the Golf Course, Roys Restaurant and beach Bar for burgers or a more formal meal, Surfer the Bar with an open-mic night for the talented. Elephant Thai, Fish Tacos, Shrimp, local Hawaiian food and other cuisines at the food truck village at Sharks Cove for outdoor meals and dinners while you watch the sunset. There are about another 20 or so options in Haleiwa town, including Thai, Mexican, Italian, Hawaiian, Seafood etc. If you are cooking at home, Foodland supermarket a short drive away. During Covid business opening hours and availability may change. Follow all government COVID rules.

Linda localização ,perto das principais praias , ter bicicleta para poder conhecer as praias foi perfeito . As acomodações foram ótimas ,a cama bem confórtavel e tivemos troca de toalhas de banho ,muito bom porque ficamos 10 dias ! O único problema foi a cozinha ,porque gostamos de cozinhar e não tinha muita estrutura ,mas como estavamos em apenas um casal não tivemos problemas. Fomos muito bem recebidos e resolvido todos os problemas que tivemos .,tipo ligar a TV,vassoura para varrer a casa....

A beautiful stay on the North Shore

This home is beautiful. If you are looking for a comfortable, clean, and stylish place in the North Shore, this is it! Everything is in pristine condition. The beds are high quality and help you to immediately fall asleep. You can look outside your bedrooms and see the waves crashing at a distance. The location is ideal if you are looking to hang out at the beautiful beaches! Very relaxing and quiet, and nearby to lots of food trucks (very popular in Hawaii!). Di and Paul greeted us when we arrived and had a little welcome package for us, which was very thoughtful! They were available with all questions, and even surprised us with some lovely desserts on a rainy day! We highly recommend staying here!

Magnificent views and property!

Di’s property is fantastic and it would be tough to find a more beautiful view of the sunset beach area than Di’s deck! Nightly sunsets, breaching whales, and surfers were easy to see every day. The location couldn’t be more convenient to the beaches, the food trucks, Haleiwa, hikes, and other nearby attractions. The house is clean, well stocked, bright and fresh. The bicycles were great for riding to Ted’s bakery for a quick bite and for cruising the beaches in the area. We felt being very secure behind a locked gate and there was ample parking on site. Di is a great and responsive communicator and also has help from a neighbor when checking in and for any questions about the property or the area. We’re hoping to bring our family back there in the near future.

We had a great stay at this property. Paul and Di are terrific hosts and very accommodating.

The property was exactly what we were looking for in a family vacation. Beautiful views of Sunset beach and close to all the surf spots on the North Shore. We would definitely stay at this property when vacationing at the North Shore.

Our Ohana have travelled to the North Shore of Oahu for over a decade and eventually bought this land and built our own beach house to incorporate all the things we love about the North Shore. Our design criteria for our architect included space, light, relaxed design, privacy and convenience for guests, two levels so families could share, eating spaces outside and inside, family gathering space big enough for the whole family on the lanai overlooking the magic 7 mile miracle. Our gardener has a busy time managing the 1.2 acres and the tropical gardens front and back and the lawns. The Hawaiian weather is kind to plants so an array of palms and local flora and fauna thrive under his keen eye. We love sitting on the lanai soaking in the views of gardens and ocean and sunsets unwinding and regenerating each time we visit. (Want the whole house for 8 people? Overlooking iconic 7 mile miracle at the end of a quiet street, we are away from the hustle but a few minutes walk to the beach. Our neighbours are quiet and respectful and appreciate the same from us and our guests. Local kids use the road to get to school, walk, cycle - so in our street we all drive under 10 mph. We are off the tourist track, but can watch the surf from our lanais. Owned and used by our extended Ohana this property is available a few times a year for one group stay within a 30 day window.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

One of the benefits of this property is the design, size and layout of the house, creating discreet separation of level one and level two. All bedrooms and the lounge overlook the ocean. The house is on 1.2 acres giving a sense of space. There is lawn in front of the house, if the kids want to run around or play. The beach is only 500 yards away and so you can hear the ocean outside the front and birds in the back garden.

Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom with new, spotless fittings. Your own TV in each bedroom means you get to choose the channels you watch or turning it off if you prefer! The lounge has a 48" TV with 300+ cable channels.

The master bedroom has a California king bed and the second bedroom has 2 Single XL beds. All beds have high quality mattresses and bedding. The outdoor hot and cold shower has surf and ocean views.

Bicycles are available for your use at all times. There are also sets of masks and snorkels as well as other beach stuff such as chairs, umbrella, bucket and spade etc.

Luxury, space and tranquility can be hard to find. We always leave refreshed!!
