About the property

Condo, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)

Enjoy a short break in Boston in an elegant and historic building. Our building has recently undergone a $3m. renovation to recreate the splendor of the original Hotel Bellevue, in the 1890's. The location is perfect -- on Boston's famous Beacon Hill, in the heart of Government Center.

Our unit has hardwood parquet flooring, 13 foot ceilings, chandelier, floor to ceiling windows, bay windows in bedroom overlooking State House garden. Granite kitchen, marble bathroom, A 45" flat-screen TV in the living room, and high speed internet plus Wifi.

Step outside the beautifully furnished unit and enjoy the many restaurants, and cultural attractions of Boston. Relax on our large roof garden with views of the State House, Charles River, and Boston Common.

This was our 2nd time staying at the apartment. Feels like home, has everything we need and is the perfect place to get to everything Boston has to offer.

A perfect spot

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four - mom and dad in the bedroom/son and daughter on the pullout couch in the living room - had a great time for two nights at this Beacon Hill apartment. You simply can't beat the location for exploring Boston: out the door to impressive State House; down the hill to North End and the new North End Park; across the Common to Public Garden; down Beacon to breakfast spots on Charles Street; Park Street station connection to all subways.

The apartment is old-world refined - where are you going to find two chandeliers! Kitchen and bath are attractive/useful/practical. A shelf in the bathroom rather than a second towel bar would be a good idea. We opened bedroom window at night for fresh air and used a cool modern fan too. City noise was the trade-off, but was minimal and kind of nice.

Doorman was helpful, convenience store three doors down, and a visit to the roof terrace at sunset is a good idea - great view of State House golden dome and views west across the Common. Jonathan was an attentive host as well.

Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

I loved this apartment. Great location and super clean. I am super picky and have rented lots of homes while traveling but this one is at the top of the list. Everything you could think of is there. I loved that there is a pull out couch and another roll away bed which is perfect for two kids who don't want to share a bed. You also have the private bedroom for the parents. And did I mention the fabulous roof deck? Such incredible views! The owner really cares about your needs and booking was a breeze. Location was safe and quiet. Thanks so much! We can't wait to come back!

How could it be better ...?

  • 5 of 5

Jonathan is an excellent host. He always answers very quickly and helps with questions. The apartment has an excellent location and all the sights are within walking distance. Amenities and cleanliness are very good. Both rooms have TV and free wifi. There are no wishes left open and I can recommend this place to anyone. I myself will certainly return.

One more advice: do not miss the roof terrace!

Wonderful Stay

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed four nights in this condo. Jonathon was exceptional to work with. He was extremely quick to respond to all questions we had prior to our stay there. Everything in the condo was of high quality. We found the building to be very quiet. The location was perfect. We could walk to many places. The Park Street subway station was very close where you can pick up the red or green line. The Government subway station was also a very short walk where you can pick up the blue line. We enjoyed everything in Boston, but most enjoyed slow walks we had in the Beacon Hill neighborhood. We are very thankful to have found this rental. We would very highly recommend it.
