Stanza Mare is truly your home away from home.

Beautiful, fully furnished 2BR apartment overlooking the ocean. The beach is just a short walk from your apartment. Entertainment including flat screen TVs w/cable, DVD player, ihome, and radio. Individual A/C units and ceiling fans . Kitchen w/granite countertops is fully equipped with blender, toaster, coffee maker. 2 bedrooms - 1 queen bed in master and 2 double beds in guest bedroom. Tile floors throughout. Both baths have walk-in shower. Amenities in complex include adult/children pools, gazebos in pool area, restaurant/bar poolside, beach tiki huts, beach chairs. Wifi and laundry facilities available on sight. The white sand beach and crystal clear waters await you!

Beautiful condos and complex

Our family, stayed in a twin unit to this one, rented out by the same owner. The unit is wonderful - well planned, equipped and bright. The balconies are a lovely place to have breakfast or a drink in the evening, they are large and usually have a nice breeze. Linda and Vincente arranged for our family to be picked up at the airport and taken to a large supermarket where we bought food for our stay. There was a small fee for this service but it was much less than a taxi and our driver helped us pick out the best rum and gave us a mini tour!

The complex is located within walking distance (1-2/3 blocks) of 2 smaller markets, many good restaurants, a pharmacy - (no English spoken), a wonderful French bakery, a sports bar (meh), a nice if pricey clothing shop and more. The beach is very wide and deep and 99% of vendors are kept off - the few that were not - a fresh fish guy and an ice cream guy were subtle and welcome by us!

The complex is very well maintained, the pool is clean and large, the grounds are constantly being worked on. The beach is private and raked when needed (this season it was really needed due to a rare influx of Saragosum seaweed all over the Caribbean. Our beach was the cleanest by far! There is no restaurant on site but you can arrange to BBQ and eat by the pool. You can also order Pizza from d'Angelo's next door.

Linda and Vincente were always available to help, give suggestions for restaurants, arrange outings, lend a BBQ, send us to the best place to shop (not the gross mall on the beach next door!) etc. Any issues were addressed, and in our case they were little things like dead batteries and unplugged appliances - silly minor things. They are wonderful, only suggestion is if you don't get a reply to emails quickly give them a call, they manage many properties in the complex and sometimes things get missed.

My only issue with this complex is that many units do not have screens, which is a shame as the breezes are lovely and it is nice not to always have the A/C on, but there are bugs so not having screens makes keeping the patio doors or windows open is a no-go. Ask for a unit with screens! They rent out 2/3and 1+loft units as well as the unit above.

I highly recommend this complex, it was so much nicer than the cramped all-inclusives and our beach was nicer than other condo complexes'. The location can't be beat and Linda and Vincente were a pleasure to deal with. We saw them greeting many repeat renters!

Take a swim in the most beautiful stretch of Punta Cana/Bavaro Beach and then relax at the Stanza Mare pool. More quiet than resorts or hotels, your apartment will quickly become your home for the week. The beach, grounds, buildings and pool are well kept and clean. The beach is never out of sight and an incredibly close walk.

Vibrant life in the area, with activities for everyone. Water activities include parasailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, kite flying, fishing, and boating. For the golfer, there are numerous fine golf courses in the area to choose from. Restaurants along the beach are just a short walk away. Also, there is a sports bar, bakery, pharmacy, and several mini-grocery stores are all within walking distance. A short drive away is the Palma Real Village Mall which boasts cinemas, the Hard Rock Cafe, Tony Roma's, and a host of other stores. Casinos, night clubs, and an ecological preserve are also a short drive away.
