Great house! Great location!

  • 5 of 5

My group loved the house! It was very nice inside! It was also close to Roots Ski shop, nightlife, and plenty of restaurants. It was also easy to get to the resort via shuttle. Peter was also very responsive and very accommodating! We loved it!

Super house for a large group

  • 5 of 5

This is a fantastic old house. We have rented many ski houses over the years and The White House is our favorite. It is large and has a lot of rooms and beds and it is not cramped. The common spaces are large and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need and a nice large table and ample room to move around. It also has 2 refrigerators, which is a really nice feature for a house that sleeps over 20 people. Figure everyone brings a 12 pack of beer, you need that extra fridge! The hot tub is small for such a large group but it is decent. It has a cool pool table room in what might have been a dining room. Much better use of the space for hanging out and playing pool. There is also a spacious living room with a u-shaped couch that can seat over a dozen people.

Three bathrooms can be challenging for 24 people first thing in the morning, but there was plenty of hot water for multiple showers.

Nice location a 5 minute drive to the ski area and a quick walk to The Foundry.

We will definitely be renting this house again.

Owner's Response: Sharon: thanks for the review. I'm very happy you and your group had a good time. Obviously you didn't ride the shuttle to the mountain or in the evening to the other restaurants and night life. We look forward of having you back again. Peter

Great ski house!

  • 5 of 5

My group had a great time at the White House. The pool table and hot tub were a lot of fun. We had ample room even though we were a large group. The livingroom and kitchen are spacious to accommodate large groups. The proximity to the mountain and the pickle barrel night club made skiing and going out at night very convenient. The owner was very accommodating. We wanted the hot tub cleaned mid trip and the number on the hot tub to call was wrong but after I emailed to ask for the correct number he responded pretty quickly with the correct number and the hot tub was cleaned not long after. Over all it was a great trip and we will probably go back to the White House next year.

Perfect Large Group Killington House - 5 stars

  • 5 of 5

I overwhelmingly recommend renting the White House for any large group traveling to Killington. The house was in perfect condition when we arrived, with clean towels generously provided on all of the beds (which comfortably slept all 24 of our guests). The kitchen was clean and well stocked with two fridges and a large amount of cookware for our party. Between the game room and spacious living room, our group had ample room for activities, which the house cultivated perfectly. The outdoor hot tub (although not pictured) was amazing, attached to the deck for convenient access from the front door. The location could not be anymore perfect, within 5 minutes from the mountain and a walk from convenience stores and the legendary Pickle Barrel Night Club. It was easy to work with the owner, Peter, to make arrangements, and having property management less than a half mile away made check in / check out super easy. We had an amazing stay at the White House and would not want to stay anywhere else in Killington-- we look forward to renting it for years to come.

Perfect for large groups!

  • 5 of 5

This house is awesome! Our group had 25 mid-twenty year olds and there was more than enough space for everyone. The kitchen has two refrigerators, which sufficiently held all of the food and drinks we needed, and enough cookware to cook for the entire house. There was a good assortment of things to do in the house (board games, hot tub, pool table, TV) so we were never bored.

The house itself is a couple miles away from Killington Peak so driving to the mountain was not a problem. Additionally, there is a shuttle bus service that could take you to the mountain for a couple bucks. The Pickle Barrel (Nightclub) is in walking distance and was a lot of fun for those looking to go out at night.

Peter, the owner, was more than accommodating and had good communication throughout the entire process.

I would definitely recommend this house and look forward to going back in the future.
