Condo, 1 Bedroom + Bunk Area, 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)

BEST beach experience you can have, just grab your towel and drink and in a few steps, you'll be sitting under your umbrella in your chairs WAITING FOR YOU with our BEACH SERVICE. After, shop the artist kiosks, clothing stores or the pharmacy (in case you left your toothbrush at home). Hit one of the restaurants for dinner, then fall happily into your KING bed, watch a movie on your flat screen and get a great night's sleep! No need to leave the property, so you can spend your whole vacation at the beach instead of in traffic!

YES, our rental INCLUDES Beach SERVICE from March 1st through November 1st, 2 chairs and an umbrella wait for you on the uncrowded, white sandy beaches.

OUR PLACE IN PARTICULAR also has gulf VIEWS, 40 inch LCD in the living room, updated modern decorating (new sealy sleeper sofa, ahhhhh), great kitchen, comfortable king bed and 32 inch LCD in the bedroom. FOR KIDS, we have a 19 INCH TV/DVD player IN THE BOTTOM BUNK!!! We provide beach toys, extra chairs, extra umbrella, and a wagon. ALSO, the half bath in the bunk room makes life easier.

There are 3 pools, tennis courts, walking trails, corn hole games as well as 3 deeded beach accesses! (lots of private beach) To eat, you can start with coffee and breakfast at Sunshine Coffee, EXCELLENT fish tacos and mojitos at La Playa, or a gourmet burger from Preacher's Kitchen.

There is also a 2 acre GRASSY area to play ball on, amphitheater, (live music) fun shopping, a salon, and special events like Wine Walkabout Thursdays and Art Walks.

WANNA Bike? Kayak? Boogie Board? Walk downstairs and rent any of those items from the bike store downstairs or rent from the beach service guys by the beach access.

YOU NEVER have to leave ONCE YOU ARRIVE. But if you really want to, we are close to funky Grayton Beach (4 miles away), outlet shopping (10 miles), Walmart (where do they not have one of those) and Publix (3 miles) and state parks.

Just tell us what you wanna do, and we'll be happy to guide you, but only if you rent our place! ;-) GET IN-GULFED. We have, and we love it!!

We request a 4 night minimum stay during the summer season and a 1 week minimum for holidays.

We are Dan and Susan Frizsell, and we live in Music City, Nashville TN. We have 2 incredible children, (a little biased) a recording studio, an art/teaching career and now a condo in FL! We hope to use it to actually relax (not easy to do with 2 young kids) but as the studio keeps us busy (Thankful for that) we are hoping to help OTHER people like you relax! Why Dan Frizsell chose South Walton

We are very particular and over-researched the area, and looked at probably 100 places before we bought! We settled on Gulf Place because it's classy yet laid back. You can walk downstairs and get a hot dog or a gourmet meal or pizza. The pools are lovely, the kids love the grassy area, I love the artist shacks, Dan loves the bike rentals (I'm waiting for the motorized version) the stores are fun, and we can park and not leave the whole vacation. The beach accesses are very easy dragging along 2 kids, and the water and sand are indescribable. Also, we aren't into crowds, and Gulf Place is the least crowded of the communities!

Awesome condo just steps from the beach. The set up is perfect for a family of 4. The bedroom is perfect for mom and dad and bunks work great for the kiddos! Any extra guest have the sofa sleeper🙈. Great views from the balcony and a great place to people watch.

Make sure to try breakfast at the perfect pig👍. Another must is take out pizza from pizza by slice. Dinning in can get crowded there and hot due to outdoor seating. Make sure to try stinky's down 30a and Seaside.

Overall a great time at Santa Risa beach. Make sure to get up early and secure your chairs as its first come first serve. Can't wait to come back again. Dan is awesome and available should any issues arrive. Just wish we could get into condo earlier then 3pm! Other then that, sensational!

Great place, location and views

This place has a lot to offer. Great location, great views of the gulf and a nice balcony to seat out on and walking distance to everything that you might need.

We really enjoyed are stay and Dan was very accommodating. We did have a few issues but all and all the place was very nice and we have already booked to stay here again next year and we can't wait! All that I would say is that I am a very neat person so I expect the place to be spotless and that any good cleaning person should check everything to make sure they didn't miss anything (like the oven). I usually will leave the place cleaner then what it was like before I got there because that is how I am. What I really liked about the place is it uniqueness and updated kitchen appliances and all the stuff that they had supplied you with so that you can keep the place clean and you have everything you need so that you don't have to bring all the extras if you plan to stay for a while. The only think I would suggest would be better sheets for the bed they seem to keep coming off at the corners. Also wished the sliding screen door would have been replaced earlier. They came and replaced it with a new one the day before we left and the new one was wonderful! I know that the salty air is what makes them not work well and I see that they must replace them often which is good. We loved the balcony with the large chairs to sit in. What I really loved was the shower head, really nice one I might need to get one just like it! Dan if you know what brand it was I would love to get it from you sometime. Thanks again for sharing your place with us, we can't wait to return next year!

We strive to keep the condo in the condition and stocked with the items we would really want if we were renting. We look forward to having you stay longer next year!

Great location and wonderful owner!

We have been going to Santa Rosa Beach for 7 years and this little gem of a unit was a welcome surprise. I was afraid it would feel a bit like a studio but we thought the space so well used and furnished by the owners and we had ample room to make most of our meals at "home", which we prefer. It was very clean and the location was perfect- plenty of shops and restaurants right there plus the beach access was right across the street. Less 500 steps to the white sand!

The owner, Dan, manages this unit himself instead of a property management company and I can tell you I have never had the great communications he provided. VERY nice person who we believe really cared that our vacation was all it could be. Silly side note, but we always haul a big tote of kitchen stuff with us including skillets because you just end up with crappy stuff in most units or you buy the things that matter over and over. We didn't need 90% of our own things because Dan keeps this unit well stocked and everything was better than just decent! Little things like this matter and we won't hesitate to rent his unit again and again in the future.

Great condo, prime location

This condo is exactly as advertised, and is at one of the best spots in all of Gulf Place. It is an end unit, and the view of the gulf from the balcony was beautiful. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the balcony during our stay. The unit is tastefully decorated and upscale. Beach access is just across the street from the condo, which is very convenient, and the chair service that is included was a nice benefit. There are several restaurants located in Gulf Place, so for a couple of days we walked everywhere we went and didn't even use our car. We have vacationed in SRB for years, but this was our first time using VRBO to book a place. The process was easy, the owner was very responsive, and everything was set up very quickly once we made contact with the owner. We would certainly recommend this condo to others, and may rent it again next year!
