We live 8 months in Delray Beach, FL, and any of the Spring, Summer Fall that this house is not being rented.
We are meticulous with this home, as you will see if you come here as a renter. It is furnished in the best way, and you will find nothing lacking in your needs. Our back patio is huge with plenty of chairs, a table with umbrella and recliners. The Cape Cod baseball league has a team just a bit down the road. They are called the Kettleers. Some of these college kids end up in the bid leagues.
There are many beaches close by that you get into at no charge with our Landlord beach pass. The beach we go to is not large, but not crowded and with lifeguards during the daytime. It is about 1 mile plus a little. We provide beach towels, beach umbrella and director folding chairs. Even two small ones for children. We have a barbecue on the patio. Our outdoor shower is popular for when returning to the beach. Two towns down is the Four Seas ice cream. Get in line. You will love it. Provincetown is 50 miles down Cape. All the towns after Yarmouth are very nice, including Chatham where we go often for our favorite restaurant, the Impudent Oyster. Best to go lunchtime, but get there before 2:30 PM.
Two other beaches are Dowses in Osterville and Craigville (large beach) in Hyannis. Another favorite of many is Nauset Beach in Orleans. I think our beach pass does not work there. We are always reachable at
561-271-0434 if you need us. We even have an air conditioned loft with electronically remote controlled stairs. That is $350 more per week. Kids love it. If you want to cook lobsters, there is a pot for it. If you like martinis, there are martini glasses (bring your own gin.)
We have wine glasses (bring the wine). We have champagne glasses (you know what).
Marvin or Fran Lainer purchased this house in 1988
We are in a community of about 50 homes. It is called the Landfall Association. A board of directors does its best to keep things in nice order. We have a single tennis court that is kept locked. Each homeowner has a key. One of our best likes are Janice and Peter DeSesa across the street. They are super and friendly.
This was our second time renting this property. It was perfect for us as my mother is elderly and there is a master on the main level with it's own bath. There is a second bedroom with a king bed and 2 closets for another couple, and third bedroom with 2 twin beds. (We didn't have a need for the extra loft.) The home has a great kitchen, fully equipped, lovely deck, outdoor grill and out door shower. The owners supplies Linens, a beach pass, towels, chairs, umbrellas etc.
Bring your own toiletries. CVS, grocery & liquor store is a minute from the house. Would definitely come again.
Rented the house for a friend's wedding in the area. The owners were very nice people, very responsive, and happy to help. It's a nice house. Air Conditioning worked great in the heat of the summer. Would absolutely recommend to friends/family.
We were very pleased with this house. It was very clean, roomy, and came with linens and all necessary home furnishings and A/C. The living room had comfortable furniture and the kitchen had a great eat-in area. It felt like a home away from home, which is exactly what we were looking for. The owners supplied the required beach permit and even included a beach umbrella, towels and chairs. The beach was lovely, a very short drive away, and nicely private, clean and life-guarded. The owners provided informative tips and recommendations for dining on the cape. Owners were very quick to respond to email and questions we had prior to booking and after. We really enjoyed our week and would love to return next year. We would highly recommend this property.
This is the fourth year we have rented this home. The owners are very friendly and eager to answer any questions. The house has always been neat and clean. We are a family of five and found the home very spacious. The kitchen is well equipped and there are plenty of linens. Cotuit is a village centrally located near Mashpee, Hyannis and Falmouth. There are many stores nearby to meet any need and there is entertainment for all family members. Loop Beach is a great spot for swimming. We plan to rent again.
The property is fabulous. It is very comfortable and well-maintained. The kitchen is well-equipped. The property is nicely situated near Cotuit Center. It has easy access to Route 28 for shopping and dining at Mashpee Commons. The cities of Falmouth and Hyannis are nearby. The Highground Golf Course and the Cape Baseball League provide local entertainment. The owner was very pleasant and promptly returned my deposit. I would return and recommend to others.
One of the most charming towns on the Cape. Sandy beach on Ocean View Ave. Seldom more than 50 people. Lifeguards. Great view of the Sound. Cape Cod Baseball League team plays close by.College players aspiring for the big leagues. Tennis club that accepts itinerant players at reasonable price.
