Thanks for looking at our guest suite. Our century old home is located in beautiful uptown New Orleans very near Tulane and Loyola Universities.
We are 2 houses away from the historic streetcar line that runs to the French Quarter and back. The space is composed of a huge living area, rustically decorated with family memorabilia, animal mounts, a pool table, bar, sleeper queen sofa and big screen cable TV.
The sitting room, queen bedroom and bath are newly renovated. Mardi Gras memorabilia surrounds you in this historic art studio.
We look forward to having you visit our home. Please no pets allowed and absolutely no smoking allowed. Maximum of 4 guests allowed in the space at all times unless discussed previously.

I'm from California and wanted to take a vacation to New Orleans for the first time. I stayed in this guess house for four nights and the house was incredible. From the very beginning to the end the experience was phenomenal. Staci and her family are beyond welcoming. The home was cozy and very open; in addition, having plenty of history and artifacts to look through. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet with lots to do around the area. I would recommend this home to anyone who is thinking of traveling to New Orleans.
The pictures don't do justice to this cool studio. The location gives you the best of both worlds; You get to enjoy the Uptown area (Tulane, Maple Street, Oak Street) and are only a quick streetcar ride from the Garden District and the Quarter. The history of this studio is amazing and it is a great place to unwind and enjoy a game of pool and a cold Abita after a long day out in this great city. The studio is very comfortable, (2 very comfortable beds) and the area is beautiful and quiet. Staci was very responsive, offering help and recommendations. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property ( I already have) and I hope to stay here in the future.
We loved our stay here! Having previously lived in New Orleans, I feel this is the perfect place to stay if you want to "wind down" after all the activities of the day. Two houses from the Streetcar line (which brings you right to the French Quarter), walk to Audubon Park/Zoo, Tulane, Uptown and Carrollton restaurants and bars. Beautiful homes and tree lined streets...can't ask for more than that! But...it only gets better...The rental was once the studio of a famous Louisiana sculptor and still has the natural wood, fireplace, "cubby holes" and even the original working trestle from when she worked in the studio, which was added in 1928! The current owners have added Mardi Gras memorabilia, slot machines and even wild animal taxidermy....apparently the perfect "man cave" which is complete with a pool table. The main room is huge, and has a very comfortable leather sofa bed. The bedroom is also furnished with a comfortable bed and there is also a sitting room with an additional TV. There is a small "snack area" with a dorm size refrigerator, microwave oven, sink and all the tableware needed to make small meals. The bath has two vanities and a very nice shower. The place is spotless. There is reading material in the apartment which not only tells the great history of the home, but also gives area restaurant and activity information. The owner, Staci is wonderful and couldn't have been more welcoming, yet not intrusive at all. I will stay here again, hopefully soon.
Our family had a wonderful stay in New Orleans. This home is beautiful on the inside and out! It's fun, clean, and New Orleans eclectic. The owners were great and attentive to every detail. Great location for shopping, restaurants and the street car. We would love to stay here again.
My husband and I stayed for 2 nights. We LOVED our stay. The studio was nice and clean. We felt very welcome and at home. It's the perfect place to be that isn't downtown but isn't too far from downtown. We will definitely stay again next time we are visiting NOLA.
We recently spent 3 nights here as it was recommended by a friend's family member. It was very comfortable and spacious. It was a short walk to the end of the street to catch the streetcar. The neighborhood was pretty and very quiet. We would recommend this location for your New Orleans visit. We would stay here again when we are in the area.
Safe, established neighborhood.
