Beautiful Waterfront Views of the Inter-Coastal

Bedrooms 2
Property type condo
Minimum Stay 7 - 28 nights

About the property

Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4)

This is a 2 bedroom/2 bath unit, built in 2001, with new flooring and soft goods in 2015. It offers stunning views of the water from the second floor walk up unit, so not many stairs to deal with. The unit is in the last building, closest to the water and the community fishing pier. It includes an enclosed garage for keeping your car and personal items. There is gas grill available for those nights at home located in the garage. There is a community heated pool for something to do after the beach.

Enjoy viewing the birds and dolphins from the main living area, the master suite and the balcony. The beautiful sandy beach is just steps away, across the street. Use the beach buggy to transport all your beach supplies (chairs provided and some limited other beach items) and relax on the uncrowded beach. The area has only privately owned units so the beach is always less crowded. Great for long walks, jogging, swimming, or just chilling.

The unit is wonderfully decorated and includes all the features of home, including a full size washer and dryer. The views are great as there are windows all along the back overlooking the mangroves and the Inter-coastal. The unit is very private as the balcony cannot be seen from any other unit. The location at the end of the property makes it very quiet with the best water views.

The community is located in the middle of the county, so it is convenient to everything. Great restaurants abound in the area. Dogs to 40 lbs. allowed (non-aggressive breeds).

About Bruce Williams

As a lifelong resident of West Florida, I love the outdoors and the water. Boating, fishing and hanging on the beach are great ways to relax.

Bruce Williams purchased this condo in 2003

Why Bruce Williams chose Florida Central Gulf Coast

The beaches of Indian Shores are beautiful, wide and uncrowded. The Narrows is a the way a beach community should be, with a 2 lane road, no hotels, but plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby.

What makes this condo unique

The unit overlooks the Inter-coastal Waterway and is very close to the beach (5 minute walk). We enjoy watching the birds hunting, the dolphins playing and the serenity of the water in general. There are some terrific restaurants within a few miles of us, and shopping on the mainland is convenient as well. Lots of activities are in close proximity.

This home is beautiful, the photos online do it no justice, and it's spotless! This home is equipped with everything you need. Great views from the balcony that is off the living room and master bedroom. I met some really nice people who live there on a regular basis, they were very welcoming and helpful. The pool was great, and the beach sunsets were gorgeous! I had a wonderful stay, felt right at home. Mr. Williams is very pleasant, and prompt in responding to any concerns that may arise. I was very satisfied, and would definitely stay there again. :)

Everything you could possibly need down to fishing poles. Came here last year and the condo was large and immaculate. Everything you could ask for. Gulf is about a block away. Pool is awesome. You will not be disappointed. Thanks Bruce. As usual we had a great time and look forward to next year. 👍🏼👍🏼

100% accommodating unit

  • 5 of 5

Very clean, very spacious and beautifully decorated. So grateful that the unit was pet friendly...

that is the most important amenity for us when vacationing. The owner was very easy to work with and willing to help us out with a special request.

Very pretty view

  • 4 of 5

Place was very nice and quiet. Lots of room had friends over for dinner a few nights, everyone wanted to sit on deck and watch the boats go by. Easy walk to beach with a cart and beach chairs provided by Bruce; which was nice because we flew down. Wonderful vacation.

Winter retreat

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed in this condo for the past three years during the months of Jan and Feb as our winter retreat. We have enjoyed the location and the area with the great restaurants, parks and beaches and watching the dolphin, manatees and birds from the deck looking over the inter coastal waterway. Our 2 small dogs have enjoyed condo life and the opportunity to bark at the garbage trucks, we don't have them in the mountains of NC. We would continue to stay at this property but because the area was so nice and are retiring this year decided to buy our own property when we were down. I know somebody else will be happy to take over our months of this winter retreat and hope they enjoy it as much as we did. Bruce has always been very responsive to anything that needed repair or replacement while we were there.

Perfect for us!

  • 5 of 5

My family (wife, daughter 17, and 2 dogs of about 40 lbs each) stayed here over Christmas while visiting family in the area. The description and pictures from the listing are a good representation of the unit, though it's even better in person (I was a rock star in my family for finding this place!) For us, this was perfect: great views of the intracoastal, wonderful balcony, nice pier, large and well appointed kitchen, large bedrooms, good bathrooms, and living areas. The garage was a bonus surprise, with a lot of play toys to use (beach toys, beach chairs, fishing gear, etc). The location is great; off the road so we couldn't hear road traffic, little boat noise, we felt very safe in the location and whole complex in general, and there are plenty of things to do both north and south along the beach road. Communication with the owner was great (all that we needed to know and not too much), the codes to get in were set up just right so we didn't need to check in with some management office that was only open certain times of the day (great because we got delayed and showed up at 1am), and we received our deposit back within the 2 weeks after our stay (just as the owner said we would). The area was large enough that we had about 13 others over for dinner one night, and we easily managed that between the dining area, living area, and outdoor balcony, though there is limited parking for guests. If you or your dogs have issues going up stairs, you need to look somewhere else. This will certainly be the first place I look at next time we go back....... as long as the rest of you haven't booked it - which was the only reason I didn't want to write this review! :)

For dog owners: you will need to talk to Bruce about your pets before he approves you, but this is not a big deal; he's very nice and easy about this (he just needs to make sure the condo rules are followed with pet size). There is a decent size yard next to the pier but the dogs have to be on leash (Bruce made us away of this before); if having to keep your dogs on leash every time they wanted/needed to go outside and down the stairs, and back up the stairs, etc is a problem for you (all the time), you may want to look elsewhere. Also dogs are not allowed (leash or not) on this entire strip of beach. So not many good places for long dog walks. I really doubt we would have found anything else on the beach island that could have been better for dogs, but I just wanted you to be aware of this.
