About Anna Sechi

My husband and I have been married since 1988 and we have two grown up girls Viola ,23 years old and Agnese 20.

Anna Sechi purchased this chateau / country house in 2007

Why Anna Sechi chose Capannori

My husband works for an important company and he has always been spending weekends doing open air works in the garden,as this is a way to relax. So far, he was dying to the idea of buying an olivegrove. When we found this property, with a little house inside,it was love at first sight. The little house had to be restored and it became a big house. It was very expensive so we decided to rent it.Hence, during the rental period, from spring to autumn,

my husband takes care of the garden, the oliveyard and the pool.My daughters, Anca,a friend of ours and I, take care of the house. It is a really nice way to be in contact with people coming from all over the world. Please, come to visit us,we are looking forward to meet you.

What makes this chateau / country house unique

The property is at the top of a hill and there is a spectacular view on the little medieval hamlet of S.Andrea di Compito.

The first time we saw it, we felt in love with two lemon trees standing at the main entrance of the house and a fig tree in front of it.It was like to be in a picture, that's why we did everything we could in order to keep them. When you walk into the olivegrove, it seems like the time has been stopped. This place is so quiet, and makes us feel so relaxed, that seems to be in peace with the rest of the world.

Beautiful location with stunning views

  • 4 of 5

We had a fantastic holiday at Traimonti in August. Two blissful weeks in the Tuscan hills. The villa is brilliantly well equipped which made family life so easy. Anna and Angelo were so helpful and friendly and went out of their way to assist us. Plenty to do and see nearby although lazing by the pool was perfect on really hot days. Papa Grappa ice cream parlour is a must. Would definitely recommend this property for a quiet location with beautiful views. The hill up to the villa is pretty steep so not for the faint hearted!

Great House for a Family Stay in Tuscany

  • 5 of 5

The farmhouse was an absolutely wonderful vacation house. It was exceptionally clean and as we had a baby with us and had no problem letting her crawl around. The house is spacious with a wonderful yard and patio. The pool was very refreshing on the hot days.

Anna and Angelo were very welcoming and thankfully met us at McDonald's and led us up to the house. It is quite a climb up and we had a large van for the six of us and did fine. It is very peaceful with a spectacular view of the valley below.

The small village below has a wonderful restaurant with great pizza. Worth a walk down in the evening. I would gladly stay here again on a return to Lucca, which is a charming town to visit and not far at all, but you will need a car. Thank you Anna for a wonderful stay.

Great house, quiet location, fantastic views

  • 5 of 5

After a challenging drive up to the top of the mountain you'll reach a fantastic property. Great views over the valley and the olive garden. The house is very clean and spacious. The garden has a fence so it's save to let the children outside. The pool is super and can be reached via a small stepladder.

Much privacy on a short driving distance from Lucca.

Anna, and her family, is very helpful and friendly.

Family time in a great house / environment

  • 5 of 5

This is a great place to stay with great facilities. The house was much bigger than I suspected and very clean. Very nice owners who helped us with the ride to the house and explained everything to us, also where to go shopping, eat and relax nearby the house. It is so nice to feel welcome! The kids really enjoyed the house as well as the swimming pool. There are a lot of things to do as well, like visiting Lucca, Pisa, going to the beach or even to the mountains / caves. We had a great time! Thank you!!

Lovely stay in beautifull tuscany

  • 5 of 5

The stay was very pleasant. Luckely there is air conditioning in the house and a lovely pool to cool off.

The Roda to get to the house is a bit of a challenge, but after a while you get used to it.

The welcome of Anna's daughter was very warm and caring. She gave is good advise about things to do in the area. Although staying at the house was very pleasant, we went to Lucca almost every eventing for diner. We went also to Florense and Pisa, both are very nearby.

Of you want peace and quite and a comfortable house, you are on the right spot!
