Everything was fantastic, the apartment is located in the centre of Interlaken. Modern, and the host was so nice with us and he explained everything clearly and gave us advice about the city tour.

Luxury rental in Wengen

  • 5 of 5

Just returned from 11 glorious nights in Malcolm's Swiss chalet. We had 7 people spread out over 4 floors of space and never felt crowded at all. The chalet included everything we needed for our stay and was spotless upon arrival. The rest of the other reviews are true: The view off of the deck is one you will never forget! The mountain is cool so we never needed any air conditioning, and slept with the doors to our bedroom deck open so we could enjoy the sounds of the nearby waterfalls. The walk to the village and train station is a simple, enjoyable journey we looked forward to each day, as the sights along the road are as equally impressive. Dealing with Malcom was simple and he provided answers to our many questions is a timely manner. We also visited Murren and it is our opinion that we made the better choice by choosing to stay in Wengen. You always get a train in Wengen but you only get a gondola in Murren. Trust me, the train is much better after a long day spent hiking the wonderful trails and mountains. You can spend a lot of time looking at other properties and reading a lot of reviews but you will not go wrong by renting with Malcolm. We had one of those "once in a lifetime" experiences at his chalet that we will never forget!

Modern chalet with stunning views of the Lauterbrunnen valley and mountain peaks

  • 5 of 5

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quiet location, roughly 15-20 minutes walk from the train station in Wengen. My 85 year-old mother-in-law had no issues with the walk, since it is mainly (but not entirely) flat. Since Wengen has no vehicle traffic (other than a few taxis), it's a fantastic place to get away from it all. However, adventure is not far away, with excellent hiking, mountain biking and other outdoor activities abundant in the area. Trains to Wengen are every half hour, so there's no challenge getting around.

The chalet is modern and includes three full floors and a loft. With two full balconies, we were able to look out over the valley and over to the town of Muerren to the east. The unit is fully equipped, with a washer/dryer, dishwasher, excellent wifi and even a sauna. With three full baths and a half bath, we had no trouble giving everyone a comfortable situation.

Everything was very clean and in perfect order when we arrived and the property manager was next door when we had any questions.

Racers Retreat chalet in Wengen

  • 4 of 5

Wengen is a very quaint little village with good restaurants. The chalet is about a 15 minute walk from the train station,

however, a very pleasant walk. The chalet itself could not have been nicer. We even cooked a couple of dinner meals

there it was so comfortable. It was just perfect and very very clean and had everything that we needed. I highly recommend

it and also thought the price was reasonable.

nice apartment

We enjoyed our stay at your Apartment in Inner-Wengen a lot. The only critical issue is that the bathrooms and kitchen have not been cleaned properly before we arrived.
