Lovely property in historical neighbourhood in downtown Montreal

  • 4 of 5

I highly recommend this ground-level spacious apartment in Montreal's historic Shaughnessy Village, located in the western part of the city's downtown. Although the busiest downtown streets were close by, this street and neighborhood are surprisingly quiet. The space is in an historic building and features period brickwork and hardwood floors. Owner Brooke has decorated it thoughtfully and tastefully. She lives just upstairs with her family and was available to address any questions or concerns promptly and helpfully. The kitchen had up-to-date appliances and the overall the apartment is in very good shape. Public transit is close at hand. If there is one small drawback to the property - and this is no one's fault - it is that the rental does not come with a parking space. If you have a car you must find your own parking & (of course) pay for it separately. There are numerous indoor parking garages within reasonable walking distance, however.

Amazing!

  • 5 of 5

My boyfriend and I stayed here a couple weeks ago, and we absolutely loved it! The apartment looks just like the photos and is the perfect size. Everything was clean and well organized. Brooke was great and very helpful with telling us about things in the area. She drew a map with grocery stores in the neighborhood and another showing us where to park. She even told us about a crepe place to go to that definitely made our last day a little sweeter! Parking was a little tricky as sometimes the spots you're able to park in were full, but definitely not a reason to not stay here. The neighborhood was great, and it was really easy to get anywhere in Montreal. We really loved the place and would definitely look for it again if we come back.

Down Home Vibe

  • 4 of 5

The apartment was located in the heart of Old Montreal. It has easy access to the Atwater Metro Station. My boyfriend and I used that station consistently to get from area to the next. The apartment itself wad just like the pictures. The atmosphere had a very homey vibe. It made you want to kick up your feet and stay awhile. When my boyfriend and I go back to Montreal, we look to see if this same apartment will be available.

Owner's Response: Hello Tyi Thank you for your good review of your stay at my apartment. Please explain why you gave me 4 stars and not 5. This is very important to me. Thank you, Brooke

Charming, Comfortable and Conveniently located

  • 5 of 5

My wife had a wonderful time visiting Montreal in June 2016. The apartment was very well decorated and supplied with all the items we needed for a 7 day stay. The kitchen was stocked with cookware, dishes, a few essentials like sugar, coffee, towels etc. The home had wifi, DVD, TV, Washer and Dryer, HairDryer, Iron, etc. It was a home away from home.

The Metro station was just a 4 minute walk down the safe and beautiful tree lined street. We also took advantage of Uber to take us to Old Town Montreal on the other side of town. The landlord and property managers were friendly and couldn't have been more accommodating.

I highly suggest this property
