Down Home Vibe

  • 4 of 5

The apartment was located in the heart of Old Montreal. It has easy access to the Atwater Metro Station. My boyfriend and I used that station consistently to get from area to the next. The apartment itself wad just like the pictures. The atmosphere had a very homey vibe. It made you want to kick up your feet and stay awhile. When my boyfriend and I go back to Montreal, we look to see if this same apartment will be available.

Charming, Comfortable and Conveniently located

  • 5 of 5

My wife had a wonderful time visiting Montreal in June 2016. The apartment was very well decorated and supplied with all the items we needed for a 7 day stay. The kitchen was stocked with cookware, dishes, a few essentials like sugar, coffee, towels etc. The home had wifi, DVD, TV, Washer and Dryer, HairDryer, Iron, etc. It was a home away from home.

The Metro station was just a 4 minute walk down the safe and beautiful tree lined street. We also took advantage of Uber to take us to Old Town Montreal on the other side of town. The landlord and property managers were friendly and couldn't have been more accommodating.

I highly suggest this property

Nice and cozy apartment in a great location

  • 4 of 5

The apartment looks just as nice as the pictures. It is bright for a basement and very roomy. It is conveniently located close to the subway and has many amenities nearby. Parking is a challenge, like it would be in any big city. We did not give it 5 stars because unlike other VRBO locations where we stayed, we had to provide for everything. There were no toiletries available, no coffee, salt, milk for coffee, laundry detergent (a small amount left), fabric softener or any small basic goods. I had to ask for additional toilet paper. The towels could be changed too. They were clean, but after a day, they smelled and we needed to wash them again. The place is great (and we would stay again), but not 5 stars.

Christmas/ New Years_Holiday Vacation

  • 4 of 5

We recently spent the day after Christmas & New Years here, total of 9 days. This is such a cute place! (Art Deco feel).

The location is in the heart of downtown Montreal(city for sure) , easy to get around, close to all shops, malls, restaurants. We are Floridians, first time to Montreal and found no need to rent a vehicle. We enjoyed the walks and Metro rides to visit other cities. The area where the apartment is located is VERY safe.

The apartment is on the bottom (basement like), Brooke made sure the apartment was nice and clean for us , even going the extra mile because Im very picky when it comes to bathrooms and bedroom linen. As mentioned the place was very clean, cozy. The living room couch(cloth) needs a good professional deep cleaning or in my opinion, needs to be changed out to leather. Reason: had many old stains. Leather is easier to wipe down.

My husband enjoyed having a separate office space for studying.

I enjoy cooking as I did and the kitchen is fully equipped , modern with new up to date appliances. I really didn't have to buy anything only food and drinks.

This place is beautifully decorated with lots of thought put into it. I like how the Old met new. The bathroom is also beautifully decorated (spa like) with calming colors.

The bed very comfortable and colors of the room calming but No TV and I personally would have preferred to have a TV to watch in the bedroom on my lazy days instead of having to get up and go to the living room to watch TV on the couch. Also the room is a bit closed in no window views.

I will add the apartment is down below so you will hear above you, feet walking back and forth because the floors are wood. Also the place is located in the city so late, quiet sleep-ins, may be a challenge.

My overall experience was a good one. Clean apartment , fully equipped spacious enough for a family, safe, close to everything.

Brooke the owner was very responsive, helpful and close by if needed. She even went the extra mile of extending our checkout time when our flight was delayed.

Thanks Brooke Again for allowing us to stay.

Hidden Gem

  • 5 of 5

Amazing apartment! Owner managed! Extremely kind lady! We had a joyful stay. This place is amazingly clean and quaint! Within walking distance of the best Montreal restaurants and grocery stores. Amazing place to kick back and relax. Extremely quiet! If you are smart you will find plenty of parking (not easy to come by in Montreal downtown area....)
