Are you looking to spend your next vacation in a spacious rental with many of the amenities of home? This spacious end unit townhome can accommodate large groups up to 14 people and provides easy access to the beach. We are only allowed to feature one unit per listing, but we do own 4 other townhomes in the same location as this one if you need more room. This listing numbers for our other units are as follows: 4118548 (1 North) 3881678 (Unit 2 North), 4132643 (Unit 1 South), 4132635 (Unit 2 South). The building is located near 60th Street on the ocean block of Coastal Highway only a few hundred feet from the beach. Unit 3 South is in the back end of the south building, furthest from Coastal Highway. 3 South has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, washer & dryer, private enclosed 2 car garage, exterior car port behind the unit for a 3rd car, several balconies and a wrap around deck. If you need more parking, there is free parking along 60th street near the building. The layout of the unit is as follows:

1st Floor – garage and entryway/foyer

2nd Floor – 1 bedroom w/queen size bed, 1 bedroom w/pyramid bunk bed (also has twin trundle mattress underneath), 1 full bathroom with walk in shower

3rd Floor – Kitchen and living room open area, ½ bath (powder room)

4th Floor – 1 bedroom w/queen size bed and private full bath w/tub and shower combo, 1 bedroom with 2 full beds and private full bath w/walk in shower.

The unit is conveniently located in central Ocean City providing groups with quick access to attractions in both southern and northern Ocean City. Close attractions include Fager's Island (across the street on the bayside), Seacrets (Ocean City’s most popular nightlife destination is a 4 minute drive or 15 minute walk), Mackeys Bayside Bar & Grill, The Bonfire (buffet), Dead Freddies Island Grill, Dumsers Dairyland (world famous ice cream), several mini golf courses, the Ocean City Convention Center and Ocean City Tennis Center. The boardwalk and Jolly Rogers Theme park are a short drive away. Those who don't want to walk or drive to their destination can take the bus since the bus stop is a short distance from the townhouse. There is also a 7-11 and gas station across the street for your convenience.

This townhouse is by far my highest demanded rental property. It books every week in the summer. If I had more time and didn't have to rent it, I would live in it for the summer myself. Its even nice to escape work for a weekend in the off season. I am into cars and I love having a real 2 car garage to get my convertible out of the ocean air or rain and off the street right at the townhouse on the first level. I also love how much light comes into the town house...there are 5 balconies and 3 walkout decks with large bay and small ocean view, being located on the Oceanside of Ocean City. Its also the most private unit, because it is an end unit away from coastal highway closer to the beach. When this unit was built in 2007 it was maximized for space with cathedral ceilings and large bedrooms. Most places are small in OC and cannot sleep as many people. Convenience is also why I bought this place. It is 1 street down from the rt 90 bridge into OC. It is also walking distance to my favorite restaurants and clubs including Seacrets, Fagers Island, and Mackey's. Its nice to not have to get a cab or drive to these places. I can walk down the street to get coffee at Dunkin Donuts, walk to the grocery store across the street, or even choose from 2 miniature golf courses in walking distance. I always look forward to escaping my stressful work and getting some r&r at my beachhouse. I hope you enjoy your stay at the Sand Dollar.

Great Family Place to Stay

Our family really enjoyed the place and thought it was one of the better and nicer places offered compared to most beach houses in Ocean City. The location was close distance to the beach which was very convenient with young kids so that we did not have to cross the highway. The kitchen living room is very comfortable and great for cooking meals or hanging out and has both a deck and balcony to enjoy nice breezes and views. I also like how there is an enclosed car garage to park the cars out of the weather and off the street. The views were also very nice. We would definitely rent here again in the future due to convenience and quality of the townhouse and definitely highly recommend.

Just returned from vacation from the Sand Dollar. If anyone has anything negative to say about this place or the location is out of their mind! Great property manager as well. My friends and I will be staying here again next year.

Perfect Location

I stayed with my family in earlier September. We loved the location so much we already booked this place for a vacation next summer! It was great having restaurants in walking distance. We were close to everywhere we wanted to go. I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, since it is much nicer than my kitchen at home. I look forward to our stay next year.

Great Location. Will Rent Again!

I rented this property with a group of friends during Memorial Weekend. We really enjoyed our stay. The beach was very close and we were able to walk to many restaurants and bars in the area. The rental agent was friendly and made the booking process easy for us. This property also has a local property manager. It was nice that we had someone in the area that we could call if we needed any assistance. The place was clean and our group of 10 fit very comfortably. We were able to park our cars in a garage off the street. All the other places we have stayed only had one balcony, but this one had several! Some of the bedrooms have their own balcony. It was great relaxing on the balconies enjoying the view after a day at the beach. I would highly recommend this property and will be booking it again next year.

Would have been nice if it was clean!

I waited awhile to write this review because I wanted to see if I would ever hear back about the complaints I had with our stay and the reply was essentially really sorry to hear about that. The condo itself is very nice and is in a great location however it was dirty. You can tell it was never cleaned (eventhough I specifically asked if a clean service cleans the place.) There was glass broken on the floor and to top it off someone is in our place when we arrived. It was a mistake on that groups fault however they give the same keyless entry code to all their units (very unsafe.) They did correct that issue when we were there however I could never recommend this unit b/c of the conditions. I understand wear and tear but not dirt. The frig had food left in it from months of use. The bathrooms were filthy which we had to clean before we could even use them. There was broken glass on the floor of the kitchen that was never cleaned. The floors were all dirty. The cable tv in one of the master bedrooms was broken and had been for a while however I was able to fix that. We could never get on the Wifi the codes were wrong and the cable tv reception was horrible and we only got a few channels. We had a group of ladies for the weekend and we were all thoroughly disappointed with the condition of this unit. I did inform the maintenance mgr who really didn't have a clue and also informed the owner while there and when we got back and like I said essentially was told sorry I talk with the maintenance guy. Not acceptable in my book when I did ask upfront was there a cleaning crew that comes in and clean and I was told yes that's why we couldn't check in early. :( If this unit gets a extensive cleaning, painting and check of all appliances then it would be great.

The townhouse was so nice when when we came down for an early fall week at the beach. Location was great because several places were within walking distance. Our families enjoyed that there was so much space and multiple bathrooms on different floors. It was also nice to have enclosed garages for the cars. We definitely would stay here again in the future.
