Aspen Brook House Rental Photos and Description

House, 4 Bedrooms, 4.5 Baths (Sleeps 10)

'It's not just a transaction...for us it's our passion!'

AspenHaus Lodge is perfectly situated overlooking the Big Thompson River, with snow-cap views of the continental divide while backing up to Giant Track Mountain for the ultimate in end-of-road privacy. From our home it is just a short walk into the Rocky Mountain National Park, 1/2 mile to the YMCA of the Rockies, 2 miles to the Beaver Meadows entrance of RMNP and 3.5 miles to the town center of Estes Park. Or simply leave your car at our home and take the FREE Estes Park Summer shuttle from a stop located within 1/4 mile of AspenHaus Lodge!!

The main level great room has a spectacular floor-to-30 ft. ceiling river rock gas fireplace which is flanked by a surround sound audio visual system (with 2 flat screens); simply the ideal family gathering place with its adjoining fully equipped kitchen and dining room area.

From the great room you can step out to the fantastic wrap-around deck to enjoy excellent mountain views along with the sights and sounds of the Big Thompson River... or take it all in from the 6-person hot tub or while cooking dinner on the Weber gas grill!

The cozy master bedroom has a double-sided gas fireplace shared with a jetted tub en suite. Open the deck doors and let the sounds of the Big Thompson lull you to sleep or step out to take in the perfectly clear Colorado sky where you might want to reach out to grab a star!

The second level of AspenHaus has two bedrooms (a king-sized bed in each), 2 private bathrooms and an amazing open loft area with picture windows framing the river, pine forest and snow-cap views. No artwork needed on these walls!

A second family room is located in the lower level where you can walk-out to meet wild turkeys and spot other wild life coming up the driveway! Or maybe just sit back and relax on the flagstone patio while enjoy a good book and catching a mesmerizing bird's eye view of the Big Thompson River! The bunk room with a full bath is also located on this level.

A one car attached garage space (with a spare refrigerator) comes with this rental. We also have a main floor laundry room.

As our guest you will enjoy access to shared common fishing, picnic and playground areas along the Big Thompson river.

From the doorsteps of AspenHaus enjoy a short woodsy walk along the Big Thompson River and emerge to expansive views of Moraine Park. Visit the museum, catch the shuttle to other RMNP destinations or continue your hike on to Cub Lake where you will have extraordinary opportunities to view herds of elk along the way.

Need we go on... our family thinks that AspenHaus Lodge is perfect in every way... not just another vacation rental but our perfect mountain home!

Note- No weddings, rehearsal dinners, group events, etc.

AspenHaus - Extraordinary Vacation Experience!

  • 5 of 5

Sue and Mark provide a dream vacation experience. AspenHaus is a top-notch home that provides memorable experiences for all ages. The trip experience begins with Sue and Mark sharing valuable information about Estes Park. This helps with planning so a moment is not lost when you arrive - your tip can be planned for all parties. We appreciated the personal contacts made by Sue when we arrived at AspenHaus to ensure that we were enjoying a positive experience. We had a question while at AspenHaus and had a reply in a minute. Their focus on detail is incredible. The home and location surpassed our expectations. Nothing can beat watching elk as you enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck.

We can't wait to return!!

A fantastic home for families!

  • 5 of 5

We have been coming to Estes Park and RMNP for 40 years- camping when we were younger and cabins the past few years. I can say, without a doubt, AspenHaus is by far the best accommodation we have experienced in Estes Park. The house is amazing in its beauty, location, and amenities. The house has everything you need to enjoy your stay. There were 9 of us (from grandparents to grandchildren) and we all enjoyed our separate spaces but could gather together in the large living area. During our stay a bull elk and his "ladies" relaxed in the front yard. Coyotes and wild turkeys wandered by to the delight of the kids. Sue and Mark had very helpful detailed notes on the house and nearby attractions. I would recommend this home to anyone who wants to enhance their experience in the already beautiful environment of RMNP.

Beautiful home nestled in mountain pines and perfect for big families!

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed in some great properties over the 10 years we've been doing VRBO, but this was by far and away the best cared for and cleanest and the helpful advice of the property managers made for a truly great experience for everyone in our party. Since each bedroom had its own bathroom each couple had the privacy they appreciated and the large family areas and decks gave us plenty of room to get together to enjoy our family reunion and niece's wedding.

Excellent relaxing getaway for my husband and I!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at AspenHaus was nothing less than top-notch; from the helpful information from Sue, the homeowner, which guided our local destination decisions with a positive outcome each and every time to the peace and tranquility experienced at their beautiful home! My husband and I have stayed at many vacation homes over the years and have never felt more "at home" and "welcome" than at this one. Renting a vacation home truly does make or break your vacation. Renting this home at this convenient location with Sue and Mark as the owners and add in the beautiful scenic views not to mention the 50+ elk that paraded off the mountain right in front of our home as we were packing up and you have a vacation home that created memories of a lifetime for my husband and I! Beyond excellent in all categories is how I would best rate our experience at your fine home! We shall return! Thank you Sue and Mark! Sincerely, The Chambers. (Go Big Red!)

Perfect Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We returned to Estes Park this year to relax and enjoy time off, but also to do a little hiking, fishing, and sightseeing. Having stayed at Aspen Haus Lodge a couple years ago, we knew it would be the perfect place for us again this year and were so pleased to be able to get a reservation. As with our last visit, the house was exceptionally clean and welcoming. We did a lot of relaxing in the hot tub and on the deck. Danny found quite a few good fishing spots, and I thoroughly enjoyed being able to hike into the park from your house. Thanks so much for allowing us to stay there. It was hard to leave, but we will be back.

Home away from home

  • 5 of 5

This is our 2nd time renting this home. The location of the home is perfect for us. It is about 5 minutes outside of the downtown Estes area. The home worked perfectly for 6 adults and 1 toddler, with plenty of room to spare. Every bedroom, except for the downstairs area, have King size beds. This is very hard to find in rentals because they tend to put multiple beds in one room to "sleep" more. The downstairs area is great for kids as it has it's own sofa, television, bathroom and plenty of room to play around. You will need to supervise the younger ones because of the stairs. The den is a great size for a large group with 2 TVs and plenty of seating. The kitchen is probably the best stocked kitchen we've every had. There was even 2 slow cookers, blenders, toaster, 2 coffee pots not to mention all the dishes and cups you need. There is a wonderful hot tub out on the deck and wonderful oversized towels especially for it. The deck itself is huge and wraps around two sides with plenty of seating to relax or listen to the river down below. The owners are great people and very easy to work with. They give you a lot of information on where to go hike, eat, etc.. They truly go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back to Aspen Haus again in the future. Thanks Sue & Mark!
