Great cabin, view and location. We did a girls weekend and really enjoyed the space and amenities. Lots of places to sleep, eat, and relax. Wish we had stayed longer just to make the most of it!
We have an annual work retreat and this was our first year at this cabin. The location was close enough to the Twin Cities that the drive was not too long, but it was also far enough that we felt we were truly "getting away" for a period of time.
We had a wonderful day/night at the cabin. The rain held off long enough for us to enjoy a fire outside for most of the afternoon, then we moved inside once the rain came! There was plenty of space and chairs for 12 of us to gather around the firepit, then when we moved inside we had a great time playing pool and ping pong for the evening.
The place is beautiful, thanks so much for sharing. Very well maintained. The communication from the owners was timely and comprehensive. This retreat is an annual thing for us and we've already decided we'd like to return there next spring!
Our family had a fantastic stay! The home and lake are beautiful. The living and kitchen areas were perfect for our family of 12 as well as the sleeping areas. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. The kids absolutely loved the large beach area and spent many hours there. We enjoyed the variety of fish we caught. The guys also enjoyed being close to 4-wheeling trails. We really hope to return again next year, one of the best homes we've stayed at in the last 8 years of family vacation.
We had an amazing time at this cabin, everything was just right and it was a very relaxing week at the lake.
We had a wonderful time! It was eagle heaven. We saw 8 eagles at one time at one point. The house has so many nice amenities that when checking a website don't seem like a big deal until you get there and find that all those little things really make for a wonderful stay (i.e. inner tubes, hammock, karoake machine, etc.)! The only drawback was that over time the low lying lake shore trees that are in the pictures have grown and really reduced the scope of view from the deck. We had our 87 year old grandmother up there with us, and it was difficult for her to move down to the end of the deck to be able to see the people in the lake swimming, kayaking, paddle boating, and inner tubing. Other than that, what a wonderful space!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.
this was our second year staying here. we had another great time. we will continue to stay here on our annual girlie weekend as long as they will have us. i know you will love it as much as we have. ;-)
Located 5 miles north of Siren. It is a quaint town with many lakes, family owned businesses, and restaurants. There are many fun family activities to do around town (movie theater, mini golf, shopping, 4-wheel/snowmobile trails, golf, kayaking, fishing, recreational water sports, etc).
We are on the shallow end of the lake which is great for kids! We have a very large beach. Our dock goes out about 70 feet and at the end of it it's about 4 feet deep! It's all sand. No rocks, weeds or drop-offs. It's a spring-fed lake so it stays really clear all summer. It's a really fun recreational lake and a great fishing lake! Gorgeous west facing sunsets by the beach fire pit!
