Paradise with a view
The Aloha Palace accommodated our family reunion comfortably. Everyone enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We made many delicious meals in the well stocked kitchen. The bedrooms are comfortable with quality linens. The location is scenic and convenient to many beaches and places of interest. The owner was responsive and helpful. Perfect vacation in a fabulous location.
Amazing stay in Hawaii Kai
Milan has the most well appointed rental house Ive ever stayed in.The pool is clean and my grand kids made many memories there. Anything you could possibly need is in this house. There is some wear on the carpets, the pool tiles, and screen doors. It could use a woman decorating touch, but we had an amazing stay, and would def stay again.
Thank you very much Dawn, I am very happy that you had a good time and that you are not too upset about the condition of the carpet, I will be having it changed soon.
Our Family's Best Vacation Ever
We took our kids and grand-kids to Hawaii for Christmas this year. There are 24 of us. It was nearly impossible to find a home big enough for such a large herd. The Aloha Palace turned out to be the perfect solution. It was large enough that we could all stay in the same home, but at the same time did not feel crowded together. In other words, when the teenagers wanted some space from their parents they could retreat to another part of the enormous complex. It is located just minutes away from the best snorkeling on the island, Hanauma Bay. We discovered that if you show up at Hanauma Bay before 7:00am, the rangers let you in free of charge. We went every morning (except Tuesdays when they are closed and Sundays).
The owner, Milan, lives on site in an attached apartment off of the garage. He was most generous and helpful. One of our granddaughters had a bad cough and Milan spent lots of time and money finding supplements to try to help her.
One of the bedrooms is palatial, big enough for two king-sized beds and several couches. It sits higher than the rest of the home and has beautiful views of the bay below. We decided to let each of our four children take a turn (five days) staying in this suite with their family. That way everyone got to enjoy the special luxury.
During our stay in December, there were several days that were rainy on the East side of the island where the Aloha Palace is located. We used the weather as an excuse to explore the West side of the island and made a wonderful discovery. While visiting Pokai Beach (NOT Pokai Bay Beach) we decided to snorkel around the rock break that extends out from the beach about 150 yards. We found that the area was teaming with schools of fish and lousy with sea turtles. On one of our visits we counted eighteen turtles!
In short, I can not adequately express just how wonderful the Aloha Palace was for our family vacation. We hated to leave. As the last of our family was headed to the airport, Milan was there to wave them goodbye. My grandson, Austin age 9, turned to his parents and said "He is such a nice man!"
Thank you Milan. We hope to stay with you again sometime.
The house had plenty of room for all 22 of us. The owner Milan was very helpful. Hawaii was a wonderful trip for my sons wedding.
Dear Barb, it was a great pleasure and honor to have your wonderful family as my guests and I will always remember how kind and considerate and friendly and loving to each other and to me as well you all were and how clean and tidy my the AlohaPalace com was after you checked out, thank you very much, you will always be welcome to come back and stay at my home.
Wishing you and your entire family and friends a very Merry Christmas
and a Happy New Year, MAHALO NUI LOA and ALOHA NUI LOA, Milan :-)
Arrangement of quarters creates privacy
Mgr Milan seemed overwhelmed. I paid the cleaning deposit and it was not professionally cleaned. I signed the rental agreement 3 times - he was not sure of what was needed. I would suggest enlisting professional management to do the job of rental.
ALOHA, thank you very much for your kind words and I hope that you will return soon. It was a great pleasure to have you and your family and friends as my renters.

About Milan Frank Vacek
Aloha, in January 2011, I purchased the home of my dreams in the exclusive Triangle/Portlock residential area of Honolulu in Hawaii Kai, and I invested not only lifetime savings but had to sell my villa in my native city of Prague in order to buy it, and still ended up with a small mortgage to pay for the next 20 years! If it were not for the mortgage I would be living in my dream home right now, and I would not be renting it. I enjoy knowing that vacation renters and their families organize their reunions and special celebrations at my house and I always make the house even a little bit better every chance I get. In 2013, I widened the driveway, extensively remodeled a separate-entrance storage room adjacent to the carport by adding a bathroom and transformed it into a completely self-sufficient caretakers/storage room for myself, and installed a solar photovoltaic system to make the house even more ecological than before. I still have a BioMarket cz business in Prague in my native Czech Republic, where I returned from Los Angeles following the Velvet Revolution of 1989. I will have to rent my beautiful home at least most of the year to cover the expenses of the house, but now I rent the palace myself and do not pay any commissions to any rental agency! The house was 'perfect' when I bought it and all my efforts since then have been to make it an even better place to live for me and my family, which should make it even more attractive and comfortable for you to stay in when you rent it. All improvements that I make and all purchases of new LED TV sets and other electronics and furniture and a dozen quiet remote-controlled DC Motor ceiling fans are done with the long-term best interests in mind, and after the visit by my now 93year-old mother from Los Angeles in 2011 the villa is even a bit more handicapped-access friendly. I hope that you will enjoy staying in my home as much as my family and I do. I now live in Honolulu. ALOHA, Milan Vacek, AlohaPalace :-)
Milan Frank Vacek purchased this Villa in 2011
Why Milan Frank Vacek chose Hawaii Kai
I purchased this particular home because from the first moment that I saw it and especially once I was inside and saw the spectacular unobstructed views of the coastline and all the beautiful massive wood and marble and huge picture windows construction with plentiful louvered and screened windows for natural flow-through ventilation and the elevator to connect the three levels of the main house as well as the gorgeous separate entrance Studio Guest Cottage I just knew that I had to buy it, and I did! The home was not cheap, but just a couple of years before I purchased it, it was listed for sale for more than double the price that I had purchased it for, and the owners who built this magnificent home with so much love and caring and with no expense spared had invested so much ($5mil??) into making it the beautiful palace that it is that just about all the money that I paid them went just to pay off their mortgage, so I have no doubt that it was a 'bargain', and I am very proud to be the owner. I had resolved after seeing dozens of other beautiful homes mostly scattered over the nearby hilltops that I wanted to live in the Triangle area because of the proximity to the world-famous Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve in order to be close to the beautiful sheltered beach and live coral and incredibly tame fish and large green turtles with which I so much enjoy snorkeling and hope to be also scuba-diving in the future, which is only a short walking distance from the villa, as are several excellent public schools, shopping centers and many other attractions. I had toyed with the idea of buying a home in the 'marina' area which would have had a slip and the possibility of having a boat with which I could have had easy access to the sea, but because of the low bridge under which all boats have to go it is not possible to have a sailboat and in the wake of the recent tsunami disasters in Thailand and Japan I wanted to be 50+ m high above any tsunami dangers which my Palace is.
What makes this Villa unique
To prevent the spread of any infectious diseases The AlohaPalace com now features industrial strength High Volume OZONE emitting machines and also High Intensity LED UV-C WIreless Remote Control Lights that thoroughly sterilize all areas of the home in just half an hour, Cleaned and Sterilized by Healthy Hydrogen Peroxide, No Toxins I love the fact that the home is ideally located high up the side of the extinct crater way above all the surrounding homes offering spectacular unobstructed views of the coastline, and enjoying natural easy breezes from the ocean which flow through the many louvered and screened windows to offer perfectly comfortable fresh air at all times without any need for air/conditioning or heating year-round, at one with nature, just as the builders, who are Zen-Buddhists (Swiss professor and his Thai wife) had intended to be, a perfect place for contemplation, meditation, relaxation and regaining new energy. I hope that you will enjoy staying in my home as much as I do. It is called the KokoKaiThaiPalace (com) because it is on the seaward ('Kai') side of the extinct Koko Crater, and it was built like a Thai Palace, and the street that it is on, Kekaha Place, well isn`t it a coincidence that 'Kekaha' in Hawaiian means 'The Place' ! This is my place in paradise! I looked up the word Kekaha on Google and the story goes that some locals were walking around the Island of Kauai and one exclaimed 'KEKAHA !' - there it is - pointing to a bay where something exciting happened in his life, perhaps he caught a big fish, and since then that bay is called Kekaha Bay, and in fact all the street names in this part of Hawaii Kai are named after various geographical features and tourist attractions on the island of Kauai, like Poipu Drive at the corner. The AlohaPalace is available not just for vacation rentals but also for long term rentals lasting several months or years, or rent to buy! Inquire with Owner Milan Frank Vacek. Mahalo, and ALOHA NUI LOA! :-)
