Ideal West Village location at corner of Bedford and Christopher streets, a minute walk from famous Bleecker Street and two blocks from beautiful Hudson River Park. The apartment is located in the Greenwich Village Historical District, and is a part of a Greek revival townhouse build in 1847. The building and the apartment are well preserved and maintained. The apartment is very close to shopping, cafes, galleries, bars ,all kinds of restaurants and much much more, everything is nearby including grocery shops, laundry services, playground for kids and all kinds of transport possible to travel all over Manhattan (Subway, Path train, Buses,).
This is a great, cozy, warm, fully equipped and very comfortable apartment. One out of two apartments in a private town house, 5-6 steps up the street level.
Perfect for 1 or 2 couples, a couple with kids or 2 singles.
A perfect place for a great vacation in NYC.

I am 50 years old, I travel a lot, usually with my wife and sometimes with my grown up children ages 27, 25 and 24. I am a business man mainly in pre-school education. Tair is my daughter and she manages the rentals and bookings while I am away.
The West Village is magical
My wife and I love NYC and making the effort to stay there each time we visit the us. Our previous experience included staying in Hotels, so this time we decided to try something else, and we weren't disappointed.
The location of the apartment is perfect, and we could find all needed services, such as subway lines, Coffee shops and Laundry services just around the block. The area itself is great and a perfect place to be in. The apartment is really nice, very roomy with lots of space, suit enough for 2 couples, and a nice outside seating area. It is very clean, well-organized and contain everything that is needed for a cozy stay.
Oded, the owner, very friendly and responsive, made all transactions easy and painless.
Combining all this with a very reasonable price, we would definitely come back on our next visit to NYC.
This is a great apartment in a great part of town. I stayed for 5 days and loved the proximity to subway, dining, and other activities. The owners are easy to work with, very responsive and it was easy to gain access to the apartment for our stay. My reasons for 4 stars instead of 5:
* I stayed with my son and needed two beds - the couch does fold out to a bed but it is extremely uncomfortable! My son just ended up sleeping on the couch (without the bed). If you only need one bed, you will be fine!
* They did not provide any washcloths and only 2 hand towels. Small nitpicky item I realize but for 2 people and several days it was a bit of a bummer.
Overall great place and I'm sure you'll enjoy the stay!
We stayed for 10 days in October and found that the apartment was completely as advertised. The location was perfect for us, with close proximity to public transport and many places to eat, drink and be entertained, especially for jazz enthusiasts. When travelling, we choose to stay in apartments wherever possible, and our time in Christopher Street has reaffirmed that choice. Communication with Tair was never a problem and she responded promptly to any queries.
We would certainly recommend the apartment to anyone looking for a home away from home in New York City. In the local area, we particularly enjoyed the Kettle of Fish (a friendly bar in Christopher St) and Rockmeisha - a quirky little Japanese Izakaya in Barrow Street.
We enjoyed spending a week here in early August. As other reviewers have noted, the West Village location on Christopher Street between Bedford and Hudson is excellent – within walking distance of anywhere in lower Manhattan you want to visit. The number of restaurants nearby is overwhelming; you could spend a month going to a different Italian restaurant no further than a ten minute walk away and barely scratch the service.
The apartment is a full one-bedroom size. It is well appointed, with nice touches such as many hooks and racks. Furnishings have character and are decidedly non-Ikea. There was good water pressure in the shower and sinks, although the water temperature of the bathroom sink was a bit erratic. The bed and sheets are very comfortable. The apartment is only about eight steps up from a very lively street, but it was not noisy. The apartment has large windows and gets plenty of sunlight during the day.
I was concerned about the heat level when we arrived, with the outside temperature in the high 80s during the day and still extremely warm at night. Fortunately, the single air conditioning unit in the living room was strong enough to keep the entire apartment, including the bedroom, comfortable.
Tair, who managed the rental, was a pleasure to work with. She provided information for easy arrival, and was very accommodating to our requests on arrival and departure times. When the refrigerator was not working properly, she arranged for its almost immediate resetting so that it worked fine. We received a full refund of our damage deposit within a couple business days.
I conclusion, I would not hesitate to recommend renting this apartment.
Visited in July 2015. If you want the real New York Feel stay here we loved it! It was easy to find and easy to get the key and that is great when you have traveled all day. We loved the patio's ! You can't find private patio's like this in a hotel. Good location easy to get to everything.
We stayed for four nights and were very pleased with the accommodations. It was very clean which is my number one requirement. The apartment is small (NYC) and has a bedroom, living/dining room, small kitchen and nice size bathroom so it is much nicer than being in a small hotel room. It was a hot week in the city and the air conditioning worked well as did the wifi. It was quiet and easy to sleep after walking all day. The location is great and very convenient to everything (lots of restaurants, jazz and entertainment) in the Village as well as lower downtown. Tair gave clear instructions and was easy to work with. We got the key and got into the apartment with no problems. I would definitely stay here again.
This apartment is exactly as described. It's very clean, cosy, well equipped (incl. WiFi), and close to everything (shops, grocery store, restaurants, theatres, subway and bus). The new Whitney Museum is only a short walk away and the Hudson is just a couple of blocks down Christopher St. The outdoor patio overlooking Chris St is a wonderful bonus. Security is good; noise from the busy street is not a problem; Tair, the owner, is friendly and responds to queries very promptly. Highly recommended.
Located in the Greenwich Village Historical District, at the corner of Bedford and Christopher streets. This is a beautifull townhouse located in a prestigious and beautifull neighborwood.
