1.5 bedroom, 1 bathroom, sleep 2 - 5 persons. 2 double beds and single sofabed.

A nicely designed and renovated apartment with high ceilings, wood floors and high-specification finishes, located in a stunning converted 1800's Victorian brewery (Grade II listed) overlooking a magnificent courtyard.

The apartment has a bright private living room with abundant light and a double bedroom, perfect for couples or families with full privacy. There is also a very modern, fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with bathtub/shower. The apartment is about 58 square meters. In the building, you have access to a very large communal roof terrace with a view of London. The common areas and beautiful St George & the Dragon sculpture have just been carefully renovated.

Whitechapel is an increasingly trendy spot at the eastern edge of heart of central London (the actual historic City of London or 'square mile'), and the metro takes you to all locations in minutes.

Great Location: Just along the market is the Whitechapel Art Gallery (the most important modern art gallery after Tate Modern Art Museum), and Brick Lane (with lots of pubs, restaurants). 10 minutes walk away is Shoreditch and Hoxton's areas, which are the trendiest areas of London with its pubs, restaurants and designer shops. New restaurants and cafes are opening all the time in this area.

Transport: Excellent transport links and easy access: London is a big city - you will enjoy London more (and save costs!) by staying in the real heart and centre of London. For transport, the flat is 2 minute walk to Whitechapel Station. Stansted airport trains goes directly to Liverpool Street which is nearby, or you can take an express bus directly from the airport to the doorstep. London City Airport is 15 minutes by cab (also on metro system). From Gatwick, direct trains go to London Bridge, then a few stops on the metro. From Heathrow, the Express takes you to Paddington, and from there, one direct metro line.

Great East End flat

What a wonderful place. Ideal location just meters from the Whitechapel Underground stop plus an ATM next door. There's a street market 6 days a week out front & a full service grocery store a 2 minute walk from the flat. We ate dinner in most nights after long days of site-seeing. Expect to walk up stairs as there is no lift. Construction going on as a result of new express train line so there is scaffolding around building but no complaints from us. All in all we had a great stay. Thanks!

wonderful flat in central location

my family (2 couples each with 1 kid) traveled from Romania and stayed at mok+rolf's flat over New Year's and well into the first weeks of January.they enjoyed the flat very much, as it had everything a family with children could need over a period of 9 nights, a modern clean bathroom, a well equipped kitchen with everything in it from a dishwasher down to champagne flutes.though a 1 bed flat, it easily accommodated 2 families as all the rooms are completely separated from each other and the living room has 2 sofa beds. the whole flat is quite airy and spacious, mainly because it is in a converted brewery and the high ceilings and beautiful large windows help.the sainsbury's nearby made food shopping very easy and the fact that whitechapel underground station was a stone's throw away was very convenient.the hosts were very pleasant and helpful towards them, very serious and trustworthy indeed, from the first couple of emails when we paid the deposit and throughout. i would definitely recommend this property and the hosts again.

A good welcome, full of trust and simplicity.

Beautiful apartment, kind host, dirty corridor

We stayed in Mok and Rolf location from October 3rd till October 6th. The apartment is very nice and was very clean. The only problem was the corridor to reach the apartment, the building is old but nice however the carpet of the corridor is dirty and some spaces smell really bad. Once you are inside of the apartment everything changes. Moreover, our host was really kind. My husband and I left the apartment very early in the morning and my mum, my aunt and my niece stayed there for some more hours. They don´t speak English at all so he came and stayed with them until the taxi came just in case any problem came out. I am very grateful about that.

The tube is really close just some meters far away from the apartment and then around 15 min to reach the city center.

I would recommend this location!

Fantastic flat in London, close to all amenities

We had a truly wonderful stay at this London apartment.

We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) and the apartment was ideal. It was beautifully furnished and in a very 'happening' part of London. We really enjoyed staying in Whitechapel which was really a stones throw away from many of the main sights such as Tower Bridge etc.

The apartment itself was beautifully and tastefully furnished with an amazing kitchen and a super bathroom. Our hosts were very thoughtful and even allowed us to stow our luggage at their own property, until we left London for our flight home.

Highly recommend!!!

Live like locals

We were so lucky to have stayed here! Mok and Rolf made it easy, the loft was very nicely designed, with every amenity. Great location, bus and tube service made travel easy, and two pubs right next door. We would return in an instant.
