I had an absolutely beautiful time at Villa Marjorie. It is Gods little treasure in Exuma. My favourite part was the swing in the tree and picking grapes in the garden each day.
The water was warm and inviting. I am sad to go but delighted by the idea of returning very soon.
By the way I wish I could pack the bed and pillows and take them home with me. I LOVE THIS PLACE.....
Our family spent a week at Villa Marjorie to celebrate our 35 wedding anniversary, our sons graduation from Auburn University and the news of our first grandchild to arrive in June. This was our first trip to the Bahamas and Jenesta got us all prepared. We were met at the the airport by Cleo, she was so welcoming even though our plane was 5 hours late. The house was great and stepping off the porch onto the beach was amazing. Everyone we met in Exuma made us feel so welcome. The food and hospitality was the best.
My husband and I spent 11 days at Villa Marjorie to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. This was our first trip to the Bahamas and we had very high expectations for this trip. The villa, the island and the people all surpassed our expectations. The villa was very comfortable and the location is truly perfect. There was quite a strong breeze going the entire time we were there, which made the summer temperatures very bearable and also kept the bugs away. We never had any issues sitting on the deck at night with a cocktail or even while cooking/eating dinner outside. Also the beautiful big tree on the beach was wonderful in providing the option to lay in the shade anytime of day. One of the highlight was that we had Dunnia and Ivannia come to the house for the best couples massage right on our private beach! I left their business card and phone number in the guest book at the house for the next guests. I can highly recommend this villa and the island to anyone looking for a special place to unwind!
We spent a glorious week at Villa Marjorie. The house is literally right on one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. The views are spectacular from every room in the house. We loved the covered porch overlooking the ocean. Inside, the house has everything you need and is very up-to-date and clean. Beds are very comfortable and we loved sleeping to the sounds of the waves each night. Felt very safe there.
Loved Exuma and all there is to do. We went to Tropic of Cancer beach and Santannas, sunset at Catch a Fire, all day trip to see the pigs with Sugar Adventures. Also swam with turtles at Hooper's Bay and searched for sand dollars at Cocoplum. And of course Chat n Chill. So much to do, yet so relaxing. Can't wait to go back and would definitely recommend Villa Majorie.
We had a wonderful vacation and loved our stay at Villa Marjorie. It's on a beautiful stretch of beach and the house is amazing. Relaxing and easy access to everything on the island this vacation home is the perfect choice. So well appointed, and stocked with everything you need for your stay and fantastic days on the beach. Ms. Cleo is incredibly kind and helpful and Jen is so easy to work with on your vacation arrangements.
So may fun things to do and some you HAVE to see. . . Stocking Island is worth a visit and stop in at the Chat n' Chill. Tropic of Cancer Beach is a very pretty beach on Little Exuma. The most wonderful place for lunch is Santana’s, we went twice! The Grouper and Lobster are divine. While you are there stop by Mom's Bakery and try her fresh coconut bread. Perfect for breakfast! Be sure to use Coastline Adventures for your day trip to see the swimming piggies. We rented a car at the airport and used it constantly. Exploring the island from one end to the other is a must. Then. . . having the perfect vacation home to come back to, that is all yours for your stay, is heaven.
We could not have asked for a more perfect house, beach, staff, and wonderful owner to deal with. We will definitely be back to visit the Villa Marjorie as soon as we possibly can.
Villa Marjorie was a perfect choice for our family of four. My son celebrated his 15th Birthday and what a great location! Cleo met us at the airport and was most gracious and informative. We rented a boat for the week and explored the most beautiful beaches and of course the Chat n Chill. Weather was perfect at end of March. The beach view from the Villa was also fantastic and great for walking. Villa is well appointed, clean and comfortable. Would love to visit again!
We were two couples staying at Villa Marjorie. The pictures and descriptions are 100% accurate. The house is newly and tastefully renovated and decorated. Both the owner and local properly manager were very prompt and accomodating. We enjoyed many walks on the long, fairly private beach. I spent several lazy afternoons reading on the lovely covered porch watching that turquoise Exuma ocean! A quick drive to downtown for groceries and liquor or to several restaurants and beaches. I really miss the super comfy king bed with that amazing view!
