About Lisa Gorham
When we visited Coeur d'alene in 2005 we instantly fell in love and bought this cute little down town cottage. I want everyone to know some of our favorites of Coeur D'alene. Favorite Beach- Pack a lunch and hike out tubbs hill to the point. Very peacful and crystal clear water. We stay there all day, like 7 hours. Favorite Market Harvest Organic Market- just around the corner 3 blocks away is Safeway, 3 blocks up from safeway is Harvest. Favority Restaurant- Angelo's Ristorante Italiano (a local grown restaurant) 846 N 4th St CDA, Idaho or try Wolf lodge for steak. Must Do's If you have young kids, take them to Rider's Ranch for horse back riding. You only have to be 2. Take the kids to Silverwood Park for water slides and roller coasters. Hit the beach. River and creek fly fishing are insane in the area if you like to fish. Check with me for the best fishing spots. I can't disclose them here.

Why Lisa Gorham chose Coeur d'Alene
We are walking distance to everything that downtown CDA has to offer. We have a front porch with comfortable chairs to sit and read or drink a glass of wine on a warm summer night. The house has all the amenities of home. It is clean & comfortable.
What makes this House unique
I like the fishing in the area. Excellent fly fishing on nearby creeks and rivers. Try Lightning Creek up near Sand Point for large trout fishing. Look for WMA access and park there. Use red lid "balls of fire" or spinning lures and flys (purple/white parachute). You can walk to the lake and rent paddle boards and paddle board around the lake. Its a great place to bike.

Great home - wonderful location!
We had a wonderful time during our stay at this home in CDA. The location was excellent – walkable to all the fun downtown and lake activities. The home was very clean and comfortable for three adult couples, providing us each our own bedroom with a queen or king-sized bed and two bathrooms to share. The house was well equipped with all the necessary amenities, apart from a dishwasher.
During our stay, the temperature approached 100 degrees. It was great to be able to come out of the heat and enjoy the AC - the wall units upstairs kept the home comfortably cool. The front porch was one of our favorite places to hang out; however, it got quite hot out there once the sun came around in the afternoon. It would be nice if the more private, back-yard patio was a bit more developed.
The only small negatives we experienced were that we were required to fill the propane tank for the outdoor grill, and we were asked to do some laundry before we left because there was another tenant coming in later that same day. We felt that these items should have been covered by the rental and cleaning fees.
All in all, this was a very good rental experience, and we would highly recommend it. Thank you, Lisa, for an enjoyable weekend!
Great location, charming home
This was a wonderful location and perfect during an Ironman event. We were only a few blocks to the start/ transitions and able to easily walk back and forth to cool off, have snacks, etc. while watching the event. Near restaurants, grocery, kayak rental, etc. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. Great spot!
Convenient location, clean and well stocked
The house was very comfortable for our family (4 adults) and the owners very responsive to our questions. The location was convenient to all the places they listed. The beds were very comfortable too! The main reasons not to give it 5 stars was that the master bedroom downstairs was a bit musty smelling (though the bathroom downstairs had a great shower), the traffic in front busy during most of the days we were there (this was where the lovely porch was) and that we were asked to do some laundry before we left because there was another tenant coming in right after us. None of these were deal breakers and we did very much enjoy our stay.
Overall the location was great, very close to downtown and the park. The home was very clean and well kept. Downstairs stays very cool, and upstairs stayed cool as well with the windows and doors open. Take note that it says A/C, but there are only window/wall units upstairs, not central A/C. Only gave 4 stars, because the key wasn't left for us the night we arrived and we couldn't get in touch with the owner, and the internet and cable (channels beyond the local few) didn't work, however we learned after our stay that they do have full cable and internet. Other then those things the house was great for families. We enjoyed being on the porch and watch cars drive by as the kids played. Lastly, the foam beds weren't the best, and the first room upstairs does sag a bit, but other then that, the house pretty much had everything we needed for a comfortable week long stay!
Great family home
We had a very positive experience at this CDA home. The owner was very tuned into the needs of children and we had lots of fun things to use like a wagon to go to the beach (which was nearby) as well as sun chairs, umbrella, and a fabulous set of sand toys! Since it was nearly 100 degrees, we were so grateful for AC! The front porch was a really nice place to "hang out" in the mornings and evenings. We were there with our kids and grand children and had a wonderful time! Thanks for sharing your home:)!
