The East Village location is full of great restaurants,bars and gourmet
delis.Even a well-stocked wine shop just across the street.And downtown
prices are almost half of what you pay in Mid-town restaurants.If you
have a car,street parking is easy and there is even a guy who will move
your car for New York's alternate side of the street parking scheme.
The pictures of the apartment don't do it justice....ground floor access
so no hassle with luggage or shopping.Super high ceilings give a real
sense of spaciousness.
Everything is spanking brand-new(bathrooms,kitchen,appliances,TV,)and
Keys were delivered by Fedex once the deposit was paid.Alarm is easy to
operate and the back garden is an incredible bonus in a city like New
York.Every detail was handled by email,including payment.
If you are say,two couples travelling from Europe,the price works out to
be less than 100 euros X person X night...Try to find a Manhattan hotel
for even two,three or four times that price!!!
On our 6 day trip we were able to take in all of the nearby areas I
mentioned above plus Central Park,the Theater District,a boat ride,a day
in Brooklyn,5th avenue and shopping in Chelsea and Century 21 by the
World Trade Center.
The local restaurants,all within a 10 block walk feature EVERYTHING from

door.In addition,the apartment's "bible" is stocked with suggestions
and flyers from nearby restaurants that deliver in no time.
All in all,an unbeatable and luxurious way to see New York at true
budget prices.What you save on having breakfast(in the garden)instead of
hotel breakfasts will pay for nice dinners!!
This spacious and elegant apartment surpassed all of my expectations. The pictures don't actually do it justice since it is bigger than it looks. The property is immaculately maintained and having two bathrooms made it perfect for two couples.
What a wonderful stay in NYC. The apartment was better than expected. Beds were comfortable; everything was very clean & well equipped. Dealing with Avion was a pleasure. I would highly recommend.
This apartment is beautifully decorated and very spacious considering it's in New York. There's a patio in the back that is huge where you can sit in the evenings and have a drink or dinner. This location is perfect! It is walking distance to China Town and SOHO. You're steps away from a pizza and Italian restaurant. There's so many restaurant choices to choose from just blocks away. I would definitely recommend this apartment... You will not be disappointed!!!
All of the previous reviews pretty much sum up this fabulous apartment! It provides everything as promised, and more! Very, very spacious large apartment. Very clean and well maintained. Great location, easy walking distance to shopping, restaurants and grocery stores. We very rarely taxied, walked and train mostly. Avion is a pleasure to work with and very accommodating as well!
This apartment is not to be passed up. We opened the doors upon arrival and all I can say is "WOW". The apartment is so much bigger than it looks in the pictures. It is beautifully decorated and was spotless for our arrival. This place is a home away from home. Everything about this apartment makes you feel comfortable. After all of the people, crowded restaurants, crowded bars and subways, this is the perfect getaway. The subway station is a few blocks away which was great. The location is perfect, you can easily walk to Greenwich Village and Washington Square Park. I will never again stay in a hotel in NYC as long as this apartment is available for rent.................
My wife, two teenage sons and I spent five nights at this lovely apartment in the southern part of the East Village. The apartment was far more spacious than we could have imagined and the furnishings were are nice the photos indicate. The bedrooms (both in the back of the apartment) were exceptionally quiet, allowing for my wife and kids to sleep as late as I would allow them. :-) Loved being close to Katz's Deli and to Russ and Daughters. Easy access to the Subway and cross town buses made our life easy. Will definitely want to stay there again if/when we return to NYC.

Minimum Stay: 3 nights
Rental Agreement to be signed with a deposit of 50% down to secure the specified dates. A Damage Deposit (separate check) of $1000 to be sent with the initial deposit. The balance is due 2 weeks before the booking date. Personal or business checks will be accepted. If plans change and prospective renter is unable to stay on their secured dates, the deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.
