This stunning East Village garden apartment was recently renovated, redesigned by Keith Strand Architect & fully furnished by internationally published design firm Heidi Gerquest Designs.
Featuring the urban elegance of over-dyed oriental rugs, hand-stenciled walls, and Moroccan tiles, this inviting two bedroom apartment is situated within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, subway and bus lines. The newly renovated, professionally designed interior is fully furnished with a stylish combination of classical and modern elements brought together by the textural richness of embroidered fabrics, lush wools, and soft velvets. the subway stops just 3 short blocks away.Easy walking distances to

The East Village location is full of great restaurants, bars and gourmet

have a car, street parking is easy and there is even a guy who will move

The pictures of the apartment don't do it justice....ground floor access

If you are say,two couples travelling from Europe, the price works out to
be less than 100 euros X person X night...Try to find a Manhattan hotel
for even two, three or four times that price!!!
On our 6 day trip we were able to take in all of the nearby areas I
mentioned above plus Central Park, the Theater District,a boat ride,a day
in Brooklyn,5th avenue and shopping in Chelsea and Century 21 by the
World Trade Center.
The local restaurants, all within a 10 block walk feature EVERYTHING from
Even if it's raining there is a great Italian place (Il Posto)right next
door.In addition, the apartment's "bible" is stocked with suggestions
and flyers from nearby restaurants that deliver in no time.
All in all,an unbeatable and luxurious way to see New York at true
budget prices. What you save on having breakfast(in the garden)instead of
hotel breakfasts will pay for nice dinners!!
Often in life when something seems to be too good to be true it is. This apartment was the exception to that rule even better than we had hoped; it was pretty much perfect in every detail. Apartment was gorgeous, clean, gourmet kitchen, quiet, spacious, nicely furnished, comfy beds, unbelievably nice patio, great neighborhood. Walking distance to Katz deli and Supper for dinner. Close to subways. This is the part of Manhattan you want to be in. Avion was great to work with, easy to contact. Would highly recommend to family and friends and hope to stay there again on another visit to wonderful NY.
This place was awesome. Extremely clean. Very nicely furnished and fully equipped - down to a washer/dryer. All the rooms were surprisingly large - especially for NYC. Family room can easily seat 5 or 6; dining area for 6 or 8; huge kitchen. The master was large, private bath; walk-in closet; very comfortable. Extra pillows and blankets and tons of towels and related needs. Very cool garden patio off the master with sitting space for many. Second bed and bath were great. The bedrooms are in the back so they are quite and dark.
Plus - there are several great restaurants on that very block - plus a cupcake store and a bodega at the end of the block. Nice upscale grocery store about 2 blocks away. And from the location, you can walk to everything in lower Manhattan - Nolita, Solita, Soho, etc.
It is on the upper end of what we normally like to spend, but this was well worth it. If we come back to the east Village, this will be the place again.
Plus, the owner emailed the day we arrived to see if everything was OK and refunded the security deposit mere days after departure. A class place and operation.
This apartment was spacious, well appointed, with everything we needed for a vacation stay, close to great restaurants, and easy access to the Metro. The prop manager was very responsive to questions, great customer service, and the deposit was refunded very quickly. A wonderful experience!
This apartment was absolutely perfect! My friend and I went on a mom's getaway and we could not have been happier...it is much more spacious than the pictures show. The neighborhood is great...a hip grocery store is just a block away and so many things are in walking distance. The garden is quaint, the beds are comfy, the bedrooms are at the back and very quiet, and 2 bathrooms is a definite plus. Avion is such a pleasure to work with...our e-mails were always answered in record time and the whole rental process was super easy. I highly recommend the apartment and will never stay in a hotel again!
Our family of 4 loved our comfortable stay in this apartment. It was very private, safe and roomy. Located close to bus stop and a few blocks from subway stop.
There's a cute, upscale grocery one block away and some very good restaurants on the street and just around the corner.
We couldn't believe how quiet the space was. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, Avion was very responsive and helpful when we had questions.
This is a lovely large apartment, quiet, well-furnished, in a terrific location with lots of shops, markets and restaurants. Huge, well-appointed kitchen, with all required appliances, china, etc. Cable TV and internet service. Top of the line washer and dryer, which was important for our two week stay. Beautiful fenced and private back patio, with table and chairs. Everything was impeccably clean and well maintained. An information notebook provided operating instructions for all appliances, as well as recommendations for restaurants and other businesses in the area. The management team was very responsive to any requests or inquiries we made, and was extremely accommodating. Through a scheduling error on our part, we had miscalculated our departure date. When the manager discovered our error through emails we had exchanged, she graciously allowed us to stay the additional day. We enjoyed a new tiny Italian bakery just a few doors from the apartment; an Italian restaurant, Supper, a few doors beyond the bakery; and Union Market for groceries. There is a Duane Reade drug store on the corner of the same block, along with a barber shop, dry cleaners, wine store, and numerous other restaurants and bars. The apartment is also within easy walking distance of Little Italy, Chinatown, and the fascinating Tenement Museum - a must-see experience. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives, and in fact, would love to come back for another stay ourselves!
