Guestbook comments from the owner

We want to thank you for the great accommodations. The house worked out perfectly for our group of nine and was a great location! We were able to enjoy many parades!! It was a great 65th birthday celebration location!! We especially loved the courtyard!!!

Mike was very helpful and gave us many good pointers of things to do!!

Again thank you, and we will keep the Bouligny House in mind when we return to N'awlins!!

Amazing Vacation Rental Home!!!

  • 5 of 5

This is our 6th year in a row renting Pat's home. We absolutely LOVE the house, the layout, the backyard, the space and of course the location. Pat has always been and continues to be very easy to work with and we find she is always improving the home and making sure it's the best for her guests. Our love of New Orleans grows stronger every year as does our gratefulness for being able to stay at Pat's!!!

Nice House for a Family Get-together

  • 5 of 5

Our family (eight adults) converged on New Orleans from various parts of the US. We loved the location - quiet, but only a few blocks from the music and food scene on Frenchmen Street, and a modest stroll into the French Quarter.

The house is in good shape and the owner and property manager were easy to deal with. Plenty of space for us to hang, chat, and sleep as we much (or little) as we choose. We would definitely use this house again for a group this size.

Great Home

  • 5 of 5

Awesome house and neighborhood! There were four couples and we had plenty of room. As said in previous reviews pictures don't to justice to this beautiful home! The back of house is a open floor plan with beautiful large kitchen and family/living room which leads out to the beautiful private courtyard.Beautiful old hardwood floors! Close to everything. Extra bonus was getting to see a filming for NCIS New Orleans episode from Cafe on the corner.Pat and Michael both very helpful. We hope to rent again.

Good value

  • 4 of 5

Excellent location and lovely yard. Kitchen was well stocked. Cons were uncomfortable beds and chairs. The cleaning team wasn't completely on their game as one bathroom mirror was pretty grubby. Also it was odd that two of the bathrooms had shampoo and soap but the third did not.

Owner's Response: Dear Guest, I appreciate your feedback. We make every effort to provide a clean house for guests so I need to know if there is anything overlooked so that we make sure we pay closer attention to the details. I regret that you didn't find the beds and chairs comfortable. Thank you for your feedback.

Great space, amazing location

  • 5 of 5

A large group of us stayed in Pat's home for a wedding that we were in town for. The space was better than the pictures! Lots of room for a large group along with the ability to section areas off if people wanted to stay up later than others was AMAZING. Pat was super communicative throughout the process. It is also in the perfect location! We only had to take an Uber a handful of times when we wanted to go into the Garden District, etc. We are already discussing our next stay here at some point in 2018.

Thanks for everything, Pat!

Owner's Response: We love and enjoy our home also so it is a good feeling to hear that our guests enjoy their stay. We open our home up to others so they get a true New Orleans experience. New Orleans natives are warm and welcoming. When you stay in a residential neighborhood you gain a great experience of that. Our home is very typical of old creole cottages and is very roomy. We would welcome you back any time you are ready because we know that you appreciate it. Hope to host you again in 2018. Pat

We stayed here for the second time with our grown children (8 of us, we rented the apartment, too) over St. Patrick's Day and it was marvelous. If we could give it 10 stars, we would. It is spacious, wonderfully charming and all you could hope for. The location is incredible, 2 blocks off Bourbon Street, about 3 blocks from Frenchman St, and a 10 minute walk to the French Marketplace, yet it is very quiet. Other amenities is the nice restaurant, Horn's, 1/2 block away and Port of Call just 3 blocks away. Highly recommended for nights when you want to chill. We hated to leave and all 8 of us decided we need to return next year. Also, I cannot praise Pat enough for her responsiveness and thank her profusely for sharing her beautiful home. Incidently, do use Uber for travel in NOLA, super inexpensive and easy.
