We stayed in this lovely apartment for the month of November. We loved everything about it... great location, comfortable beds, & a well equipped kitchen. I highly recommend this petit appartement. We will be back!
This apartment was very clean and cosy. It is very close to many attractions and wonderful shops and cafes. Naima the ladylady went above and beyond to help me and spoke perfect English.
The bedroom was quiet and bed very comfortable. Would highly recommend this apartment and would love to stay again in the future!
We have just spent 3 nights in Naima's apartment and wished we could have stayed longer.
The apartment is clean and really well thought out, with everything you could possibly need.
It was wonderful to be able to open a window at night for a cool breeze. Watching the day to day activity of Parisians from the view over the lovely streetscape made for a true local experience.
We loved being able to walk to the wonderful local eateries and markets - in particular the Rue Mouffetard and Rue Monge markets on the weekend. And with a bus stop and a metro stop right at the front door, all of Paris was readily explored.
This was our second time to Paris and certainly won't be our last and so Naima will definitely hear from us again in the future!
Cozy and complete—impressive how this conveniently located apartment of typically small Parisian size was intelligently designed and decorated to fit in everything we could need —from mini-dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, two fans, comfortable sofa, TV, totally equipped kitchen and dishes, beautiful shower, and a bedroom facing the interior of the building that was quiet and insulated from the noise of the street. It is located at an intersection with numerous cafes and restaurants, a metro stop, and only a couple blocks from the pedestrian section of rue Mouffetard with its many shops, restaurants, and cafes to peruse, buy provisions to eat in, or to sit and enjoy a drink or meal as you talk and watch all the people stroll by. You do get your exercise climbing the stairs to its location on the 3rd floor (French 2nd). Very nice owner, helped us with luggage and called a taxi for us on our departure.
The place is very comfortable, nice decorated and it is located in a beautiful place with lots of transport facilities (bus&metro). The appartment is very well equipated, clean, quiet, safe, with good ventilation, and with a nice view of the street. The landlady is very kind, reliable and helpful.
The apartment and location turned out to be perfect! My husband and I spent four days and three nights after spending a vacation week in Provence with family members. We arrived on the TGV (high-speed train) at Gare Lyon, and at the suggestion of Naimi, the rental agent, took an inexpensive taxi for the 10-minute ride to the apartment. We were thrilled to find we were in the hub of a real neighborhood, with boulangeries, cafes, and every type of food shop you could imagine or want. The Metro and bus stop are right outside the building, and we purchased a "carnet" (10-ticket pack) of Metro tickets at the Tourist Information center in Gare Lyon, and put them to good use, travelling to the Louvre, Ste. Chapelle, Place des Vosges in Le Marais district, for our sight-seeing excursions. Many famous Paris sites are walkable from the apartment as well. We purchased bagettes and ham and cheese (jambon et fromage) in Rue Mouffetard and prepared our picnics in the apartment kitchenette, which was very well-equipped. Since we are early risers, we made coffee and had breakfast in the apartment each morning, often supplemented by incredible pastries which were available all over the neighborhood (best ones from Carl Marletti shop on Rue Censier). We returned to Rue Monge at the end of each day, to enjoy a glass of wine either at one of the sidewalk cafes, or in our own place, with local cheese. We had so many choices for dinner within walking distance, that we didn't venture any further in the evening. Recommend Cafe St. Medard, across from lovely fountain and square, and Le Langedoc, about a 15-20 minute walk from the accommodations. We cannot say enough about the helpfulness of Naimi, our rental agent, both in advance of our arrival and during our stay. She even called the airport shuttle company (Paris Blue Van - excellent) for us, to confirm our reservation, when our international phone was giving us trouble. We would not hesitate to rent this same place if and when we return to Paris. WIFI was easy and reliable, and apartment entry was safe, with key fob security. The two flights of stairs were not problematic but we did wish we had packed more lightly!!
