Surrounded by the White Mtns, our two waterfront homes are just steps away from Stinson Lake, one of the cleanest, most private lakes in the Lakes Region. This beautiful 4 acre property with 300 feet of private lakefront, offers views of the lake and mountains on all sides. Perfect for multi-family vacationing. Laze, in or out of the sun on the 20' stationary dock, swim out to the private floating dock, play ping-pong or pool in the recreation room set between the two homes. Take one of the canoes, two kayaks or row boat out on the lake, play a game of volleyball, horseshoes, croquet or bocce, or just relax with a cup of coffee or glass of wine on the flagstone lakeside patio, looking out at the beauty of Stinson Lake. At night, enjoy spectacular star gazing from the dock while listening to a symphony of bull frogs, crickets, owls and loons. The possibilities for creating memories in the beauty and ambiance of this quiet retreat are endless!

There are two canoes, two kayaks and row boat on the property available for renters to use. There is a 20' dock that can accommodate a motorboat or sailboat. Feel free to bring your own boat which can be launched 1 mile up the road at the public boat launch next to the Stinson Lake Store. Kayaks and canoes are available to rent at the store as well.
Stinson Lake is well stocked with excellent fishing. Several loons and a family (maybe more now) of ducks live on the lake. Herons and osprey often come in for a landing on 'the point' and throughout the years we've had the excitement of several moose sightings at daybreak. Hiking trails which are part of the White Mtn Nat'l Forest, are just up the road. Walk 1 mile to a nearby waterfall. Stinson Mtn is a 1.5 mile walk away (2.5 mile hike up the mountain) with great views.

Debbie, to say your family's home was perfect is a complete understatement. We had an amazing time at the lake, thank you for allowing us to share in the beauty, tranquility and nostalgia that your homes offer.
Our family of children and grandchildren all enjoyed our vacation week in these beautiful homes on the shore of this quiet, peaceful, serene lake. We've never had a rental property with as much flat land to enjoy volleyball and other lawn games as well as a separate building with pool and ping pong. Swimming, fishing, boating, and floating on the rafts were enjoyed by young and old. Reading and relaxing on the covered dock and the patios were enjoyed by the grandparents. Suppers cooked on the grill and eaten on the patio were a treat enjoyed by all!! The houses were immaculately clean and the kitchens well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. Another memorable family vacation was had by all.
Thank you Debbie and Jay for sharing your lovely, peaceful, serene oasis...Bob & Jean G
Magical is a great way to describe our week at Stinson Lake! We enjoyed every detail of the property, from the perfect lake with an amazing dock to the comfortable, welcoming, and very well-equipped houses. We soaked up the sun, spent many hours each day in and on the water, laughed, chatted, hiked, cooked, and slept like babies all week long. I did not wear shoes for 5 days! It was truly our best vacation ever with the whole family. We clearly over-packed as we brought extra fans, beach chairs, games for the kids and beach/water toys. This was all unnecessary as the rental property has plenty of these items so we didn't need any of them. The houses had plenty of fans and two air conditioners for the two warm nights, but otherwise the breeze from the lake cools the property down perfectly. The yard and cleaning crew do a fantastic job as everything was clean, mowed, and well stocked. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us, it is truly a treasure. We are already planning our vacation week for next year.
This was our second year at Stinson Lake, and we had another Great week! It is such a beautiful place. The weather was gorgeous and the lake was just so refreshing. The canoes, kayaks and rowboat were all used to cruise around the lake and fish. We love to sit on the dock and read and relax. Both houses were very clean and well stocked with any cooking utensils we needed. We really enjoyed the grills and used them almost every night.
Thankyou Debbie and Jay for a beautiful place to stay. We will be back next year!!
After many years of vacationing on Cape Cod, we decide it was time for a change, and we are very glad we did! Every year my whole family, all 16 of us, get together for a week. And we were very lucky to find this wonderful place on Stinson Lake. From the start, Debbie and Jay were right there for us. Very helpful and accommodating. Always ready to answer our questions. The property is just outstanding for our group! Our ages range from 6 months to 60+ and we all had plenty of room to either play (or nap). The game house is perfect for the late night kids to play pool or pingpong! And of course, the lake is just so beautiful as is the view of the surrounding mountains! I spent a lot of time, sitting on the dock, trying to read, but found it difficult with all the beautiful scenery in front of me. Both of the houses are very clean, well maintained and fully equipped, and we ended up cooking there every night, usually grilling on the patio. We did a day trip to the Polar Caves and a day hike! Lots of fun! We really enjoyed the canoes and rowboat and did a bit of fishing!
Needless to say, we will not be heading down to the craziness of the Cape anymore. We have found our new Favorite Vacation Spot!! Thank you Debbie and Jay!
Our family of 16 (children, grandchildren and now 1 great grandchild) had a wonderful time at this property. The yard is amazing for games. The "kids" and grandkids played all kinds of games there and the lake was right outside our doors. We had kayaks and canoes and a pontoon boat to play on the lake with which was great. The lake isn't crowded so we were able to water ski and tube and cruise around a lot. The houses were well stocked and clean and very comfortable. Having the 2 houses was good this year with a new baby on a different schedule than everyone. The owners were very helpful answering all our questions and having everything ready for us. We had an amazing time and hope to return again with our gang. Thank you Debbie for all your help.
We were so happy with the property! We arrived just as the maintenance man was finishing mowing the lawn and he was so helpful! He had just filled the propane tank for us also! The two homes were in great shape! The furnishings were so comfortable in both homes - nothing dirty, thank heaven. The kitchen was full of everything you could need to cook (and we DID!). The Rec Room was a God-send on the one rainy day as was the cabinet in the Carriage House which had crafts, games, books, etc. FABULOUS! The lawn space was amazing. It was large and well kept and provided hours of fun games. The boat, canoes, dock and raft were so much fun! Really spectacular views and a peaceful lake. We have four sons and their wives, eight grandchildren (ages 18 months - 8 yrs) and everyone of them was thrilled and said that it was an awesome place! Thanks to the Comenitz!!! You were wonderfully helpful. And thank you for the special touches. We noticed!
