Waterfront condo with private beach on the shores of Lake Erie. Great views of Lake Erie from the second floor balcony that overlooks the swimming pool, hot tub, and Lake Erie. Also if you enjoy tennis there's a tennis court. The condo is within walking distance to restaurants and also close to downtown Port Clinton. The Jet Express, which will take you over to Put-In-Bay or Kelly's Island is also nearby. Cedar Point Amusement Park is only a 20-25 minute drive from Port Clinton.
My husband and I found this condo while searching for a hotel. I always love when I can find a condo instead, because I love the extra room and kitchen but have to mind the budget too. I was very happy to find this one as its location was perfect in Port Clinton and we love the area including Put in Bay. The price was right and I was pleasantly surprised at how spacious it was, and spotless too! We loved the pool and the outdoor spaces were clean and scenic. There is a gathering area with firepit and seating for outdoor enjoyment. The view from the balcony was wonderful especially at sunset. We like to cook a bit and the kitchen was completely outfitted with anything we could possibly need. The queen bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. We will definitely look to book this property again soon. Gene was easy to work with and was always available to answer any questions we had.
Good luck with future bookings!

i just returned from a funtastic stay at condo 66. this place is everything my guest and i wanted and needed. very clean,, great view. when i first arrived, the place was little warm, but i turned the bedroom AC unit on and the two fans and soon the place was very comfy.yes the bedroom gets chilly, thats great for me.the owners of the place are very nice and easy to contact.i saved this as a favorite place of mine,, i know i will be back!
We just returned from a 4 night stay at The Shores Condo Resort in Port Clinton and had a great time. The particular unit is a perfect size for a couple or small family with 1 or 2 children. It's very clean and has everything you'll need for your vacation. Although the unit itself is a bit outdated, everything is in good working condition. If you're considering a stay at The Shores you should be advised that ALL condo units have window air conditioners instead of central units. The owner of this unit wisely equipped the condo with 2 floor fans so that you can direct the cool air throughout the condo, otherwise the bedroom would be the only room cooled. Using the fans though does cool the entire condo very well. One thing we did at night though was to turn the air conditioner off and just use the fan in the bedroom. The air conditioner was waking us up as it kicked on and off, plus it just got too cold in there, and we thought the fan worked perfectly. We've stayed at the Shores a few times before this trip and we were happy to see how they've maintained and made improvements in the grounds. The pool/hot tub area is really pretty set against the lake as a backdrop. There are fountains and waterfalls, gardens, fire-pits, etc. It's really very, very nice. We travel extensively around the world, and thought this was a nice, short getaway for the money. The owner is also very nice to work with. He and his wife are easily accessible which is important if there are any questions or issues you might have.
This was our first time and it was everything that was promised.
We hope to make it a annual trip.
We have stayed here before and been very happy with the condo. This time was no different. They condo was spotless and exactly as described. The grounds are beautiful and perfect for a couples get away. We will be back!
The condo was exactly as described and was spotless. Our first impression was how clean it smelled as we walked in. Great views at any time of day. The grounds were perfectly groomed - especially around the pool, hot tub, and beach. We walked out in the lake for at least 100 yards and admired the boats sailing by. The tennis court was a big plus. One night, they even showed movies on the fire pit/fountain area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Even though it is a condo on Lake Erie and caters to vacationers there are a lot of rules. No boats of any kind in parking lot or carport, no towels or anything hanging from balcony, no fishing from property, no smore cooking in fire pit, no floaties in pool, ect, ect. The unit I rented only has 1 window ac and it doesn't keep unit cool. The pull out bed is OLD and the roll out bed is even OLDER The main bed is just plain old. Also, please don't think there is an actual private beach....it is about 10 yards long by 5 feet deep and full of seaweed and seagull poop.
The owner seems ok and this unit may work for some people but I won't be back ever.
