Everything we hoped for. The amenities like beach towels and water accessories were wonderful. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable and the view was awesome. Will definitely want to visit again.
My parents, and my boyfriend and I decided to go on a get-away vacation in the off-season to keep prices low. We visited Sea Breeze in Mid-September, and we were incredibly happy with our time here. Though the beds definitely weren't very comfortable, the other furniture, the large living space and the amazing view made up for it. There was the occasional noise from the unit above (chairs being pushed in and out, or a vacuum running, but nothing crazy.)
There weren't any bathroom toiletries, coffee, or coffee filters, and there was only one roll of paper towels that we went though in 3 days. We only had one trash bag as well, which made things a little inconvenient. There was also only salt, no pepper. Just a few bits and pieces missing that made it a little harder to cook in the kitchen.
There were a few minor maintenance issues, like the sliding glass door getting stuck, or the guest bedroom fan being really noisy. But the maintenance guy was incredibly nice and so helpful. Came to our room right away to fix whatever we needed. He also checked in with us afterwards to make sure we didn't have any other issues.
The beach and the pool were both incredibly easy to access, and we had no problem at all getting a chair at the pool. This unit has lots of toys, boogie-boards and beach chairs in the 2nd bedroom closet that we used every day. There were also about 5 beach towels that definitely came in handy. Loved waking up in the morning and sitting on the couch or the porch with our coffee. It was also really easy to rent cushioned beach recliners if you needed them. ($25/day).
The location of the property was great. There was a great bar across the street, Castaways Beach Bar, that we popped into a couple nights which was clean, fun and had great hospitality. The property was also only a few minutes drive to John's Pass, and several ice cream shops and restaurants.
I'd say a majority of the crowd at this property was older, with a rare child siting. This might be due to going in mid-September as well.
We asked for late checkout the night before our departure. We were supposed to be out at 11, but I emailed asking if we can be allowed any more time in the room since our flight wasn't until the evening. They emailed within ten minutes saying we could check out at 2! We had much more time at the beach and the pool before we left. I would definitely recommend this property! And I would happily visit again.
We stayed here for one week. We really enjoyed the condo! It was right over the pool and the hot tub so if you don't like the noise, I would suggest a different unit but we enjoyed hearing everyone enjoying their time outside. Beautiful view of the sunset and sunrise every day. Perfect location to candy shop, grocery store, restaurants and walking distance to John's Pass. The unit itself could have been cleaned a little more, we had to purchase some cleaning supplies to freshen up but altogether, we really enjoyed our stay! :)
This was the perfect spot for us. Right on the beach. The other guests were very friendly. The Itrip rep was super helpful prior to booking. Only issue we had was a broken lamp due to having both the main door and the balcony door open at the same time. It created a vacuum and slammed doors and the force knocked a lamp off the table. If I had known that prior to our stay it could have been prevented. Other than that we will absolutely stay here again!!!
The view is amazing. Nice location on the street to Johns Pass, grocery, and restaurants. The couches and beds are less than desirable and highly recommend them to be replaced. Nice cost effective alternative to Clearwater Beach. Noisy at night.
Growing up every summer we would go to Disney for a few days then head down to Madeira Beach for a week. This was the first time I was able to take my wife and kids on the same trip and show them where we grew up going every summer. The location of the Sea Breeze is great, not too close to the Pass, but not too far to walk especially pushing a stroller. Unfortunately the Condo we stayed in was not what the pictures portrayed. I had multiple issues with appliances, the furniture and TVs were old and dated, and the place seemed in need of a face lift and maintenance. And being on the first floor by the pool was horrible. My brother and his family stayed a family stayed on the 3rd floor, had a much nicer condo with updated kitchen and baths, and a 70" tv with actual cable tv. There view and balcony was much nicer. As for iTrip Vacations they did a 5 star job and I will definitely rent through them in the future.
