This condo was absolutely beautiful and roomy. There were four of us ladies that stayed, and we definitely loved the balcony and view the best! We loved the fact that the beach was just a walk down the stairs and out to the gate. We didn't even have to cross a busy street. The grill access was also wonderful, so we grilled out for lunch one day and ate at one of the picnic area tables with an umbrella. The only problems we experienced were that when we arrived, the bed in the master bedroom's sheets had not been changed. There was evidence of dirt or sand all over the fitted sheet. We looked all over for extra sheets so we could change the bed but couldn't find any. We found a blanket, so I slept on that. The other beds were fine. Also, there were some areas in the kitchen that needed some attention for cleaning, but we just cleaned up before we began cooking. I called the number given for any problems that we would have and left a message. They never got back to me, or came to fix the problem. Otherwise, it was a good trip.
Nice condo and good location to restaurants and shopping. Pool and area around pool was nice. Felt safe and secure.
The room was acceptable however I felt the pictures were better than the real thing. Size was good with 2 full baths, beach access was right there, close walk to St.Johns Pass. However, there are only single paned Windows and you will hear everything from the pool, I was woken by the the pool man spraying the pool area with a hose. You will hear upstairs footsteps and doors slamming, LOUD! The Windows badly need to be replaced, the slider was all rusted out and the stick that goes into the track was way too short, we had to put a book there as well.
As for the kitchen I had to buy a can opener, toilet paper and a long stem lighter for the grill, of course I couldn't travel home with them so I contributed to the condos inventory by leaving them there for the next guest. There were only 2 dishwasher packs and I was there 4 days so the last day I had to wash dishes by hand since the condo requires all dishes to be clean.
The guest bedroom bed closest to the window still is not attached to the headboard even though a previous review said that it had been repaired. If you propped yourself in any way near the headboard the bed would slide away and you would have to get up and push it back.
The stairwell which is right outside the door and closer than the elevator smelled awful, saved time getting downstairs but I had to hold my breath every time. The walls and trim were worn and the master bedroom bedding is different than the pictures, not as nice looking.
Lastly, the pictures do not show but just below your balcony before you get to the pool is an alley drive so not quit as you would expect from the pictures.
All in all, I was disappointed, would not recommend this to a friend nor would i choose this condo again.
One of the twin beds wasnt even attached to the wall. It rolled around every time you slept in it. The person who slept in it ended up sleeping on the floor after the first night. Very disappointing. The rest of the unit was good. We come to Madeira Beach twice a year and will probably stay somewhere else.
We love Sea Breeze. It has always been clean, comfortable and very enjoyable every year that we have come. We come in October because this is usually a quiet time of the year. We met many wonderful people this time. The only thing that was "off" was that this year was not so peaceful, many kids were off for school breaks so it seemed more like a "spring break" atmosphere and some of the guests that were there either didn't read the rules or just didn't care. There were a couple of days when the pool was so packed you couldn't get in because of "cannon balls" and water football going on. The pool says limit is 15 but it well exceeded that. There were nights when people were still in the pool at 11:00 pm, which we wouldn't have cared about if they had been a bit quieter (closing time is supposed to be dusk). The hot tub rules went by the wayside because parents just didn't read the rules of the age limit and so the hot tub was a "yellow" mess and the pool guy had to be called. One group was feeding seagulls off of their balcony (which was above the pool area and the birds were swarming there and of course "droppings" were all over the place.)
We truly love this place and will come back again and hope that next year will bring a bit more considerate crowd.
Great place!!! Girls weekend, 5 of us stayed plenty of room, very nicely decorated and appointed ,first floor was a big bonus as we spent a ton of time at the pool and beach, so running back up to the room to get snacks or drinks was easy, we used the grill at the pool for cooking, we walked to johns pass for shopping, liz was easy to work with and attentive, very nice place, would recommend
