This one has it all!

  • 5 of 5

The home is very spacious, open, clean & tastefully decorated. It's actually a bit larger than the photos represent. The view from the dining room is amazing with all the windows facing the pond. The view can be seen from the kitchen & living room. My husband was inspired to work on his book & set his laptop in the bay window in the dining room which overlooked the rolling, sprawling lawn & pond with a view of Mt Tom. The private beach has a large sandy area that isn't shown in the pictures & the mountain views are even better from the water, as you get to see the mountains towards the Kangamangus Highway. There is a floating dock offshore, canoe & paddle boat. The water is shallow gradual entry (great for small children) & sandy bottom with sparse rocks. Depth is about 6ft just up to the raft & drops deeper on the mountain side. The yard is landscaped with beautiful plantings, tiki torches, fire pit, multiple sitting areas, a hammock, a swing & even a slack line rope tied between 2 trees which my daughter & I took turns competing to see who could balance/walk the furthest. There is a spacious, private outdoor shower. The master bedroom is very large with a firm but comfortable bed, a washer machine, direct access to the full bathroom & is separated from the other 2 bedrooms by the living room. (privacy) All the beds were comfortable. I literally have not one complaint or suggestion. This is the perfect home for families because there was enough room for everyone to spread out. I've been coming to this area since I was a child & have been renting on homeaway.com for about 12 years now & this is by far the best one yet!

Lovely home and amazing views!

  • 5 of 5

This is a charming home! If you want a quiet, but outdoor vacation, this is the place to stay. Our family enjoyed canoeing and paddle boating on the pond, as well as biking on the rail trail. We were also able to spend a lot of time in New Hampshire, because Conway is only a short drive from this house. The local Maine Weston & Sherman Farm Markets are a must for your produce needs! Will definitely be back to stay on Lovewell Pond!!

Great summer get away!!

  • 5 of 5

We had the most marvelous time at this lake house. The home was immaculate, and had everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The outdoor shower is fantastic, and the second frig in the shed was very handy. The house is spacious, allowing all 10 of us to feel at home and not crowded. The beach is wonderful, loved the paddle boat and everyone enjoyed swimming at the dock. Used the canoe too, and it was fun. Enjoyed making s'mores over the fire pit in the evening, watching the loons on the pond swimming by, and even saw an eagle!! The house is located close to farms for fresh vegetables, close to StoryLand for the children and close to wonderful hiking trails--some in our group went to Crawford Notch for that experience. We found it to be a perfect place to relax, enjoy the outdoors, and spend a great time with family. We are looking forward to another stay there.

Gorgeous house, beautiful gem of a pond

  • 5 of 5

The listing description is perfectly accurate (location, layout, amenities, etc.) , but this spot is even better than described. If you want to experience lakeside life in Maine with mountain views and quiet neighbors, this is perfect. For us, two adults in late 50's with an eleven year old labrador retriever, and tons of family in the Conway area eager to drop in, the building, yard, and water access were heaven.

We regularly had half a dozen people for dinner at the long dining room table facing the water view. We also used the double sized picnic table outside for lunch. Each day we swam, jogged up to and along Mountain Rail Trail, walked the dog along the fire lane, used the canoe provided beside the beach, fished and water skied from our boat that we put on the mooring provided,. We gaped at an eagle snatching a fish right off shore, laughed at our 10 year old niece and friend enjoying the two swings, relaxed in hammock, grilled and cooked in the kitchen feasts every night, then made smores over campfire in fire pit, cheered on the US Women's Soccer team to victory in the World Cup on the huge flat screen tv. The wifi was excellent both inside the house and outside on Adirondack deck chairs. One night we used the AC, otherwise just fans: even the pickiest were comfortable and all slept well. In short, the week evaporated.

The house and grounds were spotless and carefully maintianed. Marla's emails were to the point, helpful, and friendly. Relatives who visited loved the place, and we hope to be back.

A family vacation we never wanted to end!

  • 5 of 5

We've stayed at this beautiful home more than once, during early spring and in the heart of the summer. It was the perfect place for our family. It was very clean and very cozy! With the large grass covered yard and the lake in the backyard, our sons had endless activities and water sports to keep them happy and busy. The views from the home as well as the yard were breathtaking. My husband and I woke each morning to enjoy the gorgeous rising of the sun over the tranquility of the lake. While there is plenty of space in this home with a full kitchen and two bathrooms, we appreciated the convenience and enjoyment of the outdoor shower. A short distance to a quaint downtown and easy access to the rail trail for running or power walking. Evenings we enjoyed sitting around the campfire and cruising around the lake. We loved our time in this beautiful home and hated to leave. Thank you.

Amazing location, comfortable stay, relaxing priva

  • 5 of 5

Our family of four has stayed at this home for the past five years. We always look forward to our return as we have continued to be more than pleased with our stay. We have stayed here all four seasons as we have hiked the mountains in the fall, skied local ski slopes in the winter and enjoyed the abundance of activities that spring and summer has to offer here. My kids love paddle boarding and kayaking on the pond, which is just steps away from the front door. The private sandy beach is a true asset to this property as it offers a place to relax at all times of the day, including a floating dock for the kids and adults to swim to and jump from. A short walk from the property gives access to a local rail trail that leads into the downtown area of Fyreburg and beyond for those more ambitious. Bike riders, runners and roller bladers all convene on this path. At the property, my husband and I have learned that enjoying a fresh cup of coffee on the beach on an early summer morning provides scenic views (including a view of an “arrow” in the mountain range) and beautiful, still waters. There is a great fire pit located near the waters edge where evening gatherings are spent roasting marshmallows with family and friends and listening to the local sing song voices of the loons on the water. The home is immaculately clean with more than adequate provisions in the kitchen and bedrooms and even includes access to a washer and dryer. There are modern touches throughout the rooms with a large flat screen television for night time movie viewing with the family! We highly recommend this property with ample space to enjoy as a family or with friends.
