ACCESS

Both properties share a large ground floor common entrance. A shared staircase leads to the first floor apartment and terrace. A second private staircase from the apartment’s terrace leads to the secluded villa and its 8 x 4 m private pool above.

SINGLE UNIT OR GROUP BOOKINGS

The villa and apartment are available together or separately. When combined they create the perfect family or group holiday home; where all facilities including the pool can be shared. Either property is large enough for large family or group entertainment & dining.

FOR BOTH PROPERTIES

There is external parking directly outside the property and inside ground floor internal storage should you need it.

Also on the ground floor is a table tennis table (from 2015 – please check with us) and equipment available for users of both the villa and apartment.

APARTMENT (3 bedroom sleeps 6 + 2)

The first floor apartment opens into a large living room with dining and kitchen area. There is plenty of comfortable seating including a double sofa bed, a separate dining table for at least 6 people and a small breakfast bar. The living room has a TV (presently only UK BBC channels) and X box for games, DVDs and CDs (plentiful supply along with books mainly in English). The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped to a high standard with large fridge freezer, ceramic hob, microwave combi oven, main oven and dishwasher.

A corridor leads to 3 generous size bedrooms. The double master bedroom has an en-suite shower room. The two large twin rooms share a “Jack and Jill” shower room with twin basins. All bedrooms have plenty of storage space.

There is marble flooring throughout. All rooms are air conditioned and have air circulation fans.

The living room opens onto a large south and west facing terrace with lovely views out to sea and over to La Herradura and its beach. There is an outdoor dining table, a coffee table and chairs, several sun loungers and BBQ.

When the apartment is let with the villa above there is direct access via a staircase on the apartment terrace. Access to this staircase is closed when the units are let separately and there is complete privacy.

THE VILLA AND POOL (3 bedroom sleeps 6)

The two storey villa is on the floor above the apartment and approached across a huge south and west facing sun terrace. Access leads from the apartment level below which is closed off with complete privacy when the two units are let separately).

The front door leads to a large living room and dining area with sliding picture windows onto the terrace. Opening these windows creates a real sense of inside/outside living. The living room has extensive comfortable seating. The dining table sits at least six. There is a TV (presently only UK BBC channels) and DVD player with a good selection of DVDs & CDs.

To the right of the entrance lobby there is a fully fitted and equipped kitchen with “American” fridge-freezer, hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and breakfast bar for two. An outside utility area with washing machine and sink is just outside the kitchen. The BBQ is stored here.

There is a spacious downstairs cloakroom and WC. The marble staircase leads to the first floor and 3 bedrooms. The master double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with shower and jacuzzi bath and twin basins and bidet. There is a further double bedroom and a twin bedroom which share a shower room with WC & basin. All bedrooms have generous wardrobes.

But that is not all – each bedroom has French windows opening onto large south and west facing balconies overlooking the sea.

Coming downstairs again is however a real treat as you have a chance to take in yet more of the amazing sea views through the large picture window that illuminates the staircase.

There is marble flooring and air conditioning throughout.

The main terrace has an outside decked dining area, coffee table and chairs, parasols and sun loungers all centered on the 8 x 4 m swimming pool.

Superb accommodation

We were a party of eight, spanning 3 generations and occupying both properties. The accommodation, in terms of configuration, comfort and equipment met and exceeded all our needs and expectations. The location is perfect, a relatively short walk to the town and the beach where we spent lazy days snorkelling around the rocks and just lying, soaking up the warm sunshine. Yes, it is an uphill return journey but even I, the grandfather of the party, didn't find it a challenge.

And the icing on the cake was the incredible sunsets. Whether viewed from the property itself or while enjoying a drink in one of the many cafes and bars they never ceased to amaze and we had a competition to see who could capture the best photo on our smart phones and cameras. For a half term break, we simply couldn't have chosen better.

A piece of heaven

My husband and I spent a week here with my daughter and friend. We had the villa with the pool. It was wonderful, So peaceful and private. Fabulous views across to the sea. Although there is the adjoining apartment - it is very private and you are not aware of the two properties being connected. The villa is well laid out and spacious with plenty of different places to chill out. Kitchen well appointed and we enjoyed a couple of nights eating in just because it was so nice to stay in the villa. Plenty of places to eat at La Herradura and if you don't want to walk back up the hill to the villa (10 minute walk) the taxis are not expensive. I have been to a few holiday villas over the years and I would certainly put this one up at the top of my list.

Great villa, would definately recommend it

We have just had a great holiday staying in this lovely clean and very well presented villa. There were 8 of us (4 couples) and we had both the villa and the apartment together. The facilities and amenties were ideal, and the layout and different social areas were perfect to enable everyone to hang out together or find a quite corner to chill. We had planned to venture out and about quite a bit but ended up spending much more time than anitsipated just lazing around the villa enjoying the pool and the glorious weather we had. Although La Herradura istself offered plenty of lovely tapas bars & restaurants we only enjoyed 2 or 3 meals there and mainly enjoyed taking turns to cook and barbeque at the villa. You can probably buy everything that you need from La Herradura but we drove 5 or 10 minutes the the large Mercadona which had absolutely everything. (We went a bit overboard so the pool guy was very appreciative of the 3 bags of drink and food items we passed on to him as we left). The villa is very quiet and private and we enjoyed lovely evenings watching the fabulous sunsets from the terraces, and gazing at the brilliant starry skies. There is a large garage for each the villa and the apartment and we got a 9 seater transporter in without any problem. The beach is not great as it's all pebbles but we didn't miss it at all because of the pool (beach towels provided at the villa so no need to take any). For anyone with walking difficulties please be aware that it is an uphill walk from La Herradura to the villa and the lift at the villa is not in use. Tips: Make sure you try and visit lovely Nerja which is not far away and is buzzing with lots of little back streets of shops bars and restaurants. Try and book any tickets for anything you want to partake in before you leave home as the Wifi is a bit sporadic at the villa. If you decide to travel to Granada don't take a 9 seater transporter as you will not get parked anywhere! (lovely drive there through the Sierra Navada though). If you are really in need of chicken nuggets or pint of cider then check out the little british bar behind the white market buillding in La Herradura called 'The Hideaway Bar'. Overall, I know I speak on behalf of all 8 of us when I say that we would definately recommend this property and we wished we had stayed 10 nights instead of 7.

Best holiday accommodation!!

10 of us stayed in Beltierra for a week and we absolutely loved it! It was great to have our own space and privacy and especially our own pool!! Only a quick walk to the beach and restaurants and a perfect view from the balconies!! Would definitely stay here again!!

The best holiday rental we've ever stayed in

What a wonderful holiday rental! Our family of 4 spent a fantastic week in the villa in September and we could not have asked for more. We have been renting holiday homes for a couple of decades and this was easily the nicest home we have ever stayed in - the amenities, location, privacy and quality of the property were perfect. And the views from the terrace were captivating. The booking process was friendly and helpful and the welcome warm (so nice to find a welcome pack after a long journey). The pool is large and warm and immaculately clean and we spent most of the week outdoors. While La Herradura is a little bit limited it certainly suffices and Nerja is just a short hop away and accessible by bus, too. I would return in a heartbeat and hope to do so one day soon!

Lovely villa and apartment. Full of everything you might need. Wonderfully helpful owner and rental agent. If you have a busy life and want somewhere beautiful to stay without any hassle then this is the place.
