About David Hicks

We are a happily married couple with four daughters in their early twenties. We love the outdoors and staying active. That's why Jackson Wyoming is a perfect place for our vacation home. Here we enjoy nature along with skiing, hiking, bicycling, photography and stand-up paddling. While we spend as much time as possible in Jackson Hole, we are pleased to rent our second home to guests when we can't be here. We love our beautiful town home and hope to share it with you sometime soon.

Why David Hicks chose Wyoming

We chose Jackson Hole primarily due to its ease of access via Jackson Hole Airport. Located only 20 minutes from our home, the airport is served by American, Delta, United, Frontier and Northwest airlines.

Close to two national parks and the National Elk Refuge (home to the largest elk herd in the U.S.), the wilderness and wildlife experience is unparalleled. In fact, 97% of Teton County is forever protected from development.

The hiking, golf, fishing, hunting, rafting, bicycling and sightseeing are world-class in Jackson Hole.

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is one of finest ski areas in North America with over 4,100 feet of vertical drop and annual snowfall over 500'. Base elevation of only 6200 feet (same as Boulder, Colorado) means our guests are far more comfortable than at higher elevation resorts in Colorado, Utah or New Mexico.

Finally, Jackson is an authentic western town, casual and unpretentious, with fine dining, a vibrant arts community, great shopping and extremely friendly locals.

What makes this townhome unique

A private hot tub, complimentary athletic club, neighborhood coffee shop, grocery store, liquor store and restaurants make our home in Teton Pines a unique place for your vacation. Furnished with antiques and collectables, you will feel truly at home.

Beautiful house, perfect for ski trip and exceeded our expectations.

  • 5 of 5

We often travel using VRBO and seldom does the property exceed the disciption on the site - but this house certainly did. Quality of furniture, kitchen equipment, and bathrooms were outstanding. Extras like hot tub, fireplace setting, boot/glove dryer, garage heater and humidifiers made for a wonderful week. Priced right and great location with a fitness center and easy access to downtown and ski area will ensure we will be back!

Comfortable, spacious, and well appointed vacation home

  • 5 of 5

My husband, daughter, and I had the opportunity to stay at this wonderful town home in Teton Pines. The home is located in a beautiful setting that is centrally located to hiking, biking, skiing, restaurants, markets, the town of Jackson, and the Teton National Park entrance. The kitchen is well equipped with all the necessities and comforts of home. The bedrooms are nicely decorated with their own bathrooms. The laundry room and garage are added bonuses. We feel like we are at home and look forward to staying here again.

A new home away from home.

  • 5 of 5

The property at Teton Pines lived up to its expectation. The home was an oasis among all of the activities in the area. It was well appointed with comfortable beds and pillows. The living room and full kitchen area was very warm and inviting for guests to enjoy time together. Check in was easy. Centrally located to all of the activities in the area was key to our selection, and it met that expectation also. You can access either sightseeing, biking, rafting, fishing, skiing, hiking, restaurants, shopping within 30 min or less of this property. Included with the rental was access to the local health club, which I did take advantage of. The health club has bike rentals which unfortunately I did not have time to due. We would certainly consider staying again at this home in the future. On a final note, this was our first trip to the Grand Tetons. Having been to all 50 states, the Grand Tetons is, by far, one of the top 10 most beautiful areas in the United States. There is a lot of history there that one could spend days exploring, which we did. The local people were all very friendly and helpful. Bottom line, there is something to do for anyone that visits this area. Go, explore and have fun!

Beautiful property in ideal location

  • 5 of 5

Five Montana sisters stayed for four days in this lovely townhome, and we recommend it highly! It's in a peaceful, beautifully landscaped complex with many hummingbirds gracing the flowers and trees. It's also extremely convenient: about a 10-minute drive to Jackson. The home is beautiful, with a terrific hot-tub on the lower deck and a perfect upper deck from where I saw about ten meteorites during the Perseid Shower. It's an odd floor-plan, which threw us for a few minutes: 2 bedrooms downstairs, but the kitchen/dining/living areas and another bedroom upstairs. We came to like that setup quite a lot. We had a slight problem with the thermostat and heater in one bedroom; we called and an extremely nice young guy came to work on it within the hour (on a weekend night, well after 5). (The issue didn't get fully resolved, but we didn't need the heater at all after that, and left a note when we departed.) We were exceptionally comfortable here. Thanks so much!

Beautiful base camp for adventure and relaxation. Doesn't get better than this place.

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I came here from the east coast to celebrate a milestone anniversary. We'd never been to Jackson Hole and this place was an amazing base camp for our week of adventure and relaxation. It's perfectly located with walking access to great coffee, grocery, and restaurants; a quick drive to a diverse texture of activities, dining, and entertainment; and a reasonable drive to Yellowstone. The owners took great care to make us feel welcome (coffee, wine, and snacks), comfortable (clean, well-stocked, and a hot tub), and safe (bear spray and bug repellant). We wouldn't change a thing!

Wonderful location. Tastefully decorated. Very clean and comfortable. Very conveniently located!

  • 4 of 5

Our group of friends found everything about this Teton Pines Townhome to be perfect in every aspect and exactly as advertised. Furnishings, bedding, kitchen, living area -- it met all of our expectations for sharing meals and resting comfortably before our daily outings. Teton Village was very conveniently located to several great restaurants and a small grocery store a short walk away. Teton Pines community was beautifully kept and quiet -- perfect for a relaxing vacation with friends. We'll definitely be back!
