About Cassie Hurles
My name is Cassie Hurles, I have always lived in Texas (Dallas & Houston Areas) and all my summers were spent at the Frio River area. I met my husband, Darren (Daz) in 2001 while he was working here in the states. He moved here from Scotland in 2001. We then had our son, Connor in February 2004 and our daughter, Isla in May 2008. The first time I took my husband to the Frio River he fell in love and we kept the family tradition going with our kids, making it a must every year. Then we moved to the beautiful Texas Hill Country in April 2015 & bought Whiskey Mountain Inn on July 22, 2016. We are looking forward to this new adventure.

Cozy Getaway Cabin
Easy to reserve. Checking in was a breeze. This is a rustic cabin for 2 with a kitchenette and 3/4 bath. Great location between Leakey and Rio Frio. Great value for height of the tourist season.
Cute COZY little cabin
This was the cutest little cozy cabin for two! Had everything you could possibly need, my hubby and I enjoyed our last getaway before starting back to school (work)! Thank you 😊
This little cabin was a great place for my wife and I on our visit to Garner State Park. Perfect location for the Park and the beautiful surrounding Hill Country. It is close to the highway so you'll hear the trucks driving by at night but this would not keep us from booking this little cabin again. You have to bring your own queen-size sheets, which isn't a problem for us because we're local, but I wonder how many out-of-towners they're missing out on because of this. The Mill Creek Cafe in Leakey is good for breakfast and the Buckhorn Bar & Grill was a great place for lunch or dinner with live music. The next time we go to Garner, we'll be camping, but that's because I love camping. That said, I would book this property again without hesitation. Our cleaning refund was promptly refunded to us a few hours after check-out time and the instructions for getting there, amenities and check out were very clear. Clean, cozy and great location.
Love this place way better than 1 * so it's always available for us.
This place is so cute and cozy whoever decorated it has a wonderful sense of humor and there's hidden treasures in every corner. I would rate it a five-star but then if I do it's never going to be available when we want to come back. Thanks Cassie. See you at tubing time.
I loved the overall experience. It’s cozy , clean and located in the heart of the hill country. Great location and nice setting . I loved it
Excellent option for people wanting to enjoy Garner, the Frio and nature. Would highly recommend.
We are in a great central location, only 3 miles south of Leakey, TX. Very close to a lot of river crossings, starting at 2 miles away & on. 2 miles from a tube rental & shuttle. And only 3.5 miles from Garner State Park.
