This is a unique home. It has many great features including a full dining room for entertaining, a media room with a 58' Panasonic Plasma TV, blue ray DVD player, hundreds of DVD's, satellite system, high speed wireless internet, hot tub, steam shower, table tennis, 7'Steinway Grand Piano and a treadmill for light workouts.
Everything was absolutely perfect with this charming VRBO! Tim was an AMAZING host! We arrived in Vancouver around the time where the city was getting a good amount of snow. Tim made sure the driveway and the walkway was salted and shoveled prior to our arrival and during our stay, he even stopped by to salt and shovel again!
The description is exactly as stated. In the entry/first floor: there was a beautiful grand piano in the den, along with one of the most extensive movie collections I've ever seen. There's a large bedroom with two twin beds and a bathroom with great water pressure behind the den. The great room that consisted of a family room/dining room/kitchen is on the second floor. The kitchen was well stocked even though we didn't utilize it too much and the third floor consisted of the master bedroom and bathroom.
Everything was CLEAN and fresh. Toileties/amenities were top notch. Service and response was amazing. I would recommend this VRBO for families with young children, getaway weekends, and even folks with mobility issues as the first floor bedroom is a short walk to the front door and that bathroom was a shower stall.
The home is impeccably and beautifully decorated and we had a wonderful time in Vancouver! Thank you so much Tim!
We had a wonderful time in the property. Is located 20 minutes by trolley from the center and 15-20 Canadian dollars taxi trip. Away from the center a big advantage. Very nice setup with comfortable rooms and backyard. Be aware there are 3 floors, but a little exercise didn't kill anybody. Great Chinese restaurant in the corner, recommended. Primary school next door but we didn't hear anything. Tim was helpful with the checking in and checkout. We will certainly use it again. BTW the DVD collection is impressive. We used the BBQ grill and the Jacuzzi.
Our family of four (kids are 9 and 11) absolutely loved our stay in this home. Tim was a fantastic host and the house is very well set up. We felt very much at-home; the kids loved the ping pong table and the giant tv. The location is excellent for getting around and we loved having a little driveway. No street parking this trip! We'll be back.
Our host, Tim, was so friendly and accommodating that we felt like we were being welcomed by family. The home is clean, nicely furnished, and perfectly renovated. The location is quiet and ideally suited for a small family or two couples. We wish we could have stayed longer, but we will use this property again. I would recommend this rental home to anyone looking for the comforts of home while exploring Vancouver.
We enjoyed the lovely home. It exceeded our expectations. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. Tim was more than helpful answering my questions. I highly recommend this property- great for a family.
My husband and I recently stayed in this beautiful home. It was a cool design, very clean and well equipped. We were pleasantly surprised that it was even better than the description. We enjoyed the hot tub, steam shower, cooking, walking to nearby restaurants but especially how Tim went out of his way to make the booking/check-in/out process easy and to make our stay as comfortable as possible!
