SPECTACULAR OCEAN VIEWS await you from this well appointed Beachfront condo. You can just about reach out and touch the ocean from the expanded deck. Use the pool, lay under a palm trees or relax on the quaint private beach. Just outside you have access to famous St. Lawrence Gap with restaurants & night life just a stroll away.

This two bedroom, two bathroom beachfront condo has a large expanded partially covered, comfortably furnished balcony overlooking the pool and beach, just 30 feet away! The master bedroom is spacious and has a king bed and en-suite bathroom. The side of the bedroom facing the ocean is all glass, giving you unobstructed views of the ocean from your bed. The guest bedroom has two single beds that can be made into a king on request prior to arrival. Both bedrooms are air conditioned and have ceiling fans. There is a safe in the master bedroom. There is a European style kitchen with stainless steel appliances including a combo washer/dryer.

Step out the door and several beaches are in walking distance along with public transport and taxis, a bank and convenience store are also nearby. You also have the choice of several restaurants and our Property Managers provide you with a list of their favourite restaurants on the island. Oistins, home of the famous Friday Night Fish Fry is just a short drive away. Bridgetown the capital is approximately 4 miles away with Duty Free Shopping and historical buildings, this is a must see. The building has electronic security as well as a night security guard. There is lots of off street parking. The large pool set on a landscaped deck with palm trees is next to the ocean and is an ideal place to catch the sun. There is a large selection of sun loungers and shaded areas for those wanting to stay out of the sun. His and Hers bathrooms are located in the pool area with showers for your convenience.

What makes this condo unique

We loved this location because everything is just outside the door of the condo. We do not need a car, we can walk to several beaches, convenience stores, restaurants, an ATM. At night there is live music everywhere, we can sit on our balcony and watch the most amazing sunsets. The building is very well managed. Our sons like to surf and there are surf schools and surfing areas a short drive away. We also like the fact that Barbados has a huge selection of activities and events so we can kick back and relax or get involved in social and sporting activities that are too numerous to mention. We did not find this on the other nearby islands. The world class restaurants on the island are as good as you will find anywhere in the world and you also have the option of lots of casual dining and beach bars. We just love the fact that we have choices.

Excellent with breath taking views

Place was clean and in a great location. Was met At the condo and was given a rundown of everything including places to explore and places to eat.

Furniture and beds are comfortable. Has a nice pool and a little private beach. Would stay again if you never been to Barbados bring plenty of money for food / groceries it's expensive compared to the states, and the USVI. It's a beautiful country with very friendly people. I also recommend cool runnings Cattamaran tours. Snorkeling with turtles And fish over shipwrecks. An open bar and buffet style lunch. They even come and pick you up at the condo. Well worth the price for a 5 hour tour!!!

Great beach condo

This place was fantastic! 4 1/2 stars. We are a family of 5, with 3 teens. The large, covered balcony made the trip. The weather is so nice, and there are no bugs, so it is like an extension of the living area and we were not cramped at all for the 10 days we stayed. The balcony is twice the size of all the other balconies in the condo building, and had a view out 3 sides, so it really was a wonderful place to spend the days and evenings. The MBR was very large, with it's own bathroom and had a spectacular view. The 2nd bedroom was smaller with no view, but it was fine for sleeping The day before we arrived, the property manager informed us that the sofa-bed in the living room was broken and that they would be renting a cot for us. This was for the best, as there is no AC unit in the living room, so we crammed the cot into the 2nd bedroom. So, if you are planning to use the living room for sleeping, keep in mind that there is no AC and everything must be locked up at night. The 2nd bdrm AC unit malfunctioned while we were there, and the property manager sent over a technician that day to have it fixed. It is walking distance to Dover Beach, and there is a very small beach right in front for a quick dip and to play in the waves. The pool is fine. We had a car, so did many day trips; the condo is about 15 minutes from the airport and Bridgetown. We would stay here again in a heartbeat - highly recommend this condo.

Underwhelmed - unit didn't meet expectations

We (2 adults, one child) recently stayed at this property (November/December 2013). The complex itself is in a great location, feels safe, has a great pool area and is well maintained (if a little old/tired). The property staff were super as was the rental agency staff. However, the unit itself is not a +$200/night property. Very little regular maintenance has been done on the unit...many, many light bulbs burnt out, dripping taps, very poor quality towels and linens (stained, ripped bathroom towels and kitchen linens), safe didn't work, laundry didn't work (must use the units in the basement), no AC in main living area. The unit could also use thorough spring cleaning - i.e. to get rid of the cobwebs etc. The second bedroom is more of a large repurposed storage space...very dark and creepy with only one small window adjacent to the noisy, main building entry. Absolutely zero was provided upon arrival - our previous experiences with VRBO has been that some minor supplies are often available in the unit - i.e. salt and pepper, coffee filters, more than one roll of tp, some dish soap etc. We would stay at this complex again but not in this unit.

Owner's Response: We are very sorry that your experience at this property was not to your expectations. We would have hoped that per our meet and greet service who familiarized you with the property, handed over keys, etc., and being given 24 hour/365 contact information of our management team in the form of our Welcome Letter which would have been shown to you on arrival that you would have contacted our team to point out the areas where you experienced problems which could have been rectified in a timely manner. On checking the property our Property Manager has reported that the washing machine (Smeg, European model) is in fact working, these models of washer/dryers can be a challenge to persons not used to the European model of washers, we will now put written instructions into the unit on how to use the machine. The safe is also working, however, when putting in your code you are required to press each number firmly. Our inspection did not reveal any dripping taps, the master bathroom vanity sink has an unusual faucet handle that when not closed properly will drip. We realize now that we have to make guests aware on the use of this faucet. We do not advertise our property as having air conditioning in the living room. The second bathroom is the same size as all other guest bathrooms in the building. Our rental policy as a private condo rental is to provide the initial toiletries of bath soap and bathroom tissue for each bathroom, replacement toiletries are at the expense of each tenant. We did check and find that there were several bulbs that were blown and these have now been replaced, we have also replaced all of the bath and beach towels and the bed linens on your recommendation.

St. Lawrence Gap is the resaturant and entertainment hub of the island. Everything is located within walking distance, bars, nightlife, banks, shopping, grocery shopping, several beaches, public transport, taxis. Dover Beach is located in St. Lwarence Gap, wonderful swimming and offering beach chair and umbrella rentals, watersports and several kiosks selling local food and drink.

Bridgetown, the capital, is just a few minutes drive away, duty free shopping and historical buildings make it a must see during your stay.
