This large 1 bedroom 2 bath condo located at Main Beach in the Terraces at Beachside. The ocean view from the balcony is fantastic. There is a large kitchen with granite countertop and plenty of room to entertain. There is beach equipment and 2 bicycles for your use. The property has a private beach access and bar-b-que grills. There are beach chairs and umbrellas available at the beach. There is a lanyard in the condo that will identify you as a Terraces guest to the attendant. Cooler, beach towels etc. are provided in the condo There are also two Electra Townie bicycles for your use.

The building is locked 24/7. Access is with a code and keys provided.

We have 3 units on the same floor. So if this unit is not exactly what you were looking for or if you are traveling with family or friends take a look at Homeaway property numbers 356717 and 334392.

There is a restaurant next door with a patio that is perfect for lunch while enjoying a day at the beach and cocktails and dinner later. The property is located at Main Beach. It is 200 yards from the entrance to Ft. Clinch, 1/4 mile from the Egan's Creek Greenway and 1 mile from downtown Fernandina Beach. The historic town of Fernandina Beach is a short 1 mile car or bike ride. Enjoy strolling the streets of Fernandina Beach and visiting the museums, shops, many fine restaurants, horse drawn carriage rides, ghost tours, pub crawl, and much more.

If you are interested in adding an inshore/nearshore fishing or site seeing trip to St. Mary's, Cumberland Island, Kingsley Plantation, etc. let me know. I have a boat at the Amelia Island Yacht Basin and am a USCG licensed charter captain. Give me a call and if I am in town we can make arrangements.

Everything you could want!

We have been spending February at Amelia Island for years and this is the best place that we have found. Very roomy, attractive and pleasant apartment in the best location on the Island. My wife says that the kitchen is the best furnished of any place we have rented anywhere. Jeff is an ideal landlord, very accommodating.

February is normally excellent weather for tennis or golf but not ideal for swimming. This year was an exception. We had warm and sunny weather almost every day. My wife says that the kitchen is probably the best furnished of any place we have rented anywhere.

Everything is very secure, with good, private, covered parking on the ground floor level. You are right on the beautiful beach and only a few hundred feet from the entrance to the park and the fort. It is a short drive into "downtown" Fernandina beach and you are not far from most of the excellent restaurants on the Island.

We couldn't recommend it more highly.

Owner was great to deal with, his condo is beautiful very well decorated in a great location to everything. We biked to Fort Clinch from condo one day walked the beach. We would definitely return when we go back. I would love to buy a unit in his building.

Great husband-wife getaway

This condominium at Fernandina Beach met all of our expectations and looks the way it is pictured in the VRBO information. The owner has stocked it with everything you would need, which does include shampoo, soap, a hair dryer, paper products, coffee filters, pots and pans. You have two bathrooms, one with a stall shower and the other with a sunken tub/shower combo. The queen bed has nice linens and is comfortable. There is on-site, covered parking and an elevator up to each floor of the three-floor facility. This is not a large condo property, which was nice for us. Once inside the building, which is through a password-protected door from the parking area, you enter into a lobby from where you enter your particular condo. This is nice, as it protects you from the outdoor elements and provides a sense of privacy and additional security. The first impression of this condo is how exceptionally clean it is. If you travel a lot, you really appreciate when you are staying in a facility that does not appear to even have a spec of dust. There are two "living areas" with one sofa, two comfy chairs and then another adjacent living space with two loveseats that can make into single beds. Via a private wooden walkway, one steps onto the beach. Right there, at your disposal, are beach lounge chairs and beach umbrellas. Jeff, the owner, also has a closet filled with beach gear, two bicycles and helmets. We have always loved downtown Fernandina -- the shops and restaurants. It is so "non Florida!" We enjoyed Lulu's for lunch, and I highly recommend Espana for dinner (reservations highly recommended). My husband and I would recommend this to others and hope to stay here again when our schedules allow.

Sun-drenched sea views from lovely villa

Because it was South facing, we thoroughly enjoyed our time watching the sun rise over the ocean and then set from our balcony. Everything was exactly as advertised if not better. I've stayed in many properties but this was the very best appointed of any. Upon arrival we found that it was extremely neat and clean. It was well furnished will all of the conveniences of home. Many which I've never seen in other rentals - like big thirsty towels, kitchen drawers organized precisely, full bars of soap, big satellite tv, large shower. The layout is very open and comfortable. Security is excellent with covered parking. Convenient to beach along with a quick drive to the cute downtown for shopping and dinner. Jeff too was very good to work with being responsive to whatever our inquiry or correspondence. I'd highly recommend this property.
