About Suzanne Bauguess

My husband and I live nearby and are available by cell phone during your stay. Or, we will arrange for coverage if we are traveling.

Why Suzanne Bauguess chose Georgetown

Georgetown is the most recognized and sought after neighborhood in DC. Historical preservation has left the neighborhood - and our home - much as it was since the British left (the second time). Live in the history while you visit. One street over is Tudor Place (George Washington's step children's home currently run as a museum). Two streets up is the Dumbarton Oaks estate - now administered by Harvard University - with amazing gardens and museum.

What makes this townhome unique

Access everything you need by foot - Safeway, Whole foods, Walgreens, coffee, restaurants, and shopping. Walk to Georgetown University (14 min), Potomac river (10 min), and Montrose Park (5 min) with access to miles of running and walking trails. Du Pont metro is 22 min on foot or 5 min by bus. Several nearby farmer's markets during the week and on week-ends. An Uber is never more than 3 min away, including at 5 am when you need to get to the airport (DCA is a 15 min drive).

Wonderful location and house

  • 5 of 5

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the row house. It’s in a convenient tucked away location that was very nice and quaint. The rental was nicely furnished and supplied and we felt quite at home. Our hosts were quick to respond and got our car rental a parking pass, which made staying at the home easier. We appreciated all the details that the hosts left for us and all the fantastic recommendations for food.

Excellent & Perfection

  • 5 of 5

The space was pure perfection. Beautiful, clean and just enough charm to feel like a home away from home without being cluttered. I highly recommend the space for couples or two ladies traveling to the area. We felt safe and welcome in the neighborhood. Our host was responsive when we had questions. I'd absolutely stay here again and again.

A bit of Tuscany in Georgetown

  • 5 of 5

We just returned from Italy and stayed here while attending a Georgetown U reunion. I felt like I was back in Tuscany every morning sipping my coffee while enjoying the sound of birds in the enclosed garden surrounded by greenery and herbs. The house was clean and comfortable and all kitchen items plus extras like sea salt and herbs. Of course, it is one block away to the heart of Georgetown with plenty of restaurants, old favorites and a new gelato store (try the blueberry lavender), etc. The host was very responsive especially since we were coming from Italy and trying to remember things like the keycode!! I would highly recommend this house.

adorable home in lovely neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

My family of four (two children ages 9 & 11) recently stayed at this Georgetown property over spring break. The home was very clean with comfortable beds and linens. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. It has a lovely outside patio where we enjoyed having a snack and listening to music. We wanted to stay outside of the city and loved the Georgetown area for all of its shops and restaurants. The neighborhood was super cute and quiet. We always felt very safe. We walked to the grocery store a few blocks away several times to grab items for dinner and snacks. It was a two minute walk to a metro bus stop which took us to the nearest metro station in Dupont Circle. From there, you can go anywhere in DC area. We also utilized uber for some of our excursions. Suzanne was very helpful to work with during our stay. We would definitely recommend this property!!
