The property sleeps six comfortably, is centrally located in a quiet residential enclave and less than a five minute stroll to the beautiful beach, bars & restaurants of Luz. Finished to an impeccable standard, the villa comprises a large open plan lounge with spacious dining area, flat screen TV & DVD player and has 3 double bedrooms (master en-suite), all with patio doors to private sun terrace, garden and built-in barbeque dining area. Both the lounge and master bedroom open onto splendid views of the Atlantic Ocean and to the west of the resort lies some of the finest unspoiled coastline of the Algarve. Guests also enjoy full membership of the award winning Ocean Club & its facilities which include 24hr reception, swimming pools (April to October), tennis courts, restaurants, gardens, pool bar & discounted green fees at several nearby golf courses.

Water Related Activities: There is an abundance of water related sports and activities available locally including surfing (the breakers on the Algarve's silver coast attract serious surfers to the most unspoiled and beautifully secluded beaches imaginable), jet skiing, banana boat rides, water skiing etc. Boat trips to the nearby grottoes and sea caves are popular as are big game fishing trips from Florida-style game fishing boats, all bookable locally. For children & families the popular water parks of Slide & Splash and The Big One are a short drive from the resort.

At Lagos marina boat trips for dolphin watching are also avaiable every day during peak season.

Horse Riding: Luz is situated on the edge of the Costa Vicentina Nature Reserve, one of the region's largest nature parks and making the effort to travel a short distance away from the coast will reward you with the splendour of some of Portugal's most beautiful countryside. Exploring this area on horseback is an excellent & relaxing way of taking in the local scenery and there are several stables in the vicinity catering from beginners to experienced riders. Ocean Club reception will be pleased to advise and arrange equestrian activities on our guests' behalf.

Staffed reception area is available for guests 24hrs a day (April to September). Off season, 8.00am until midnight. Towels & bed linen are included in the prices quoted and maid service is provided three times per week. Steam iron, ironing board and clothes dryer also provided. Cot and high chair available on request. We also have junior surf boards and beach toys (volleyball, buckets & spades, etc) which guests are welcome to use, with our compliments.

Just returned from Pria Da Luz the Villa is just as in the description, although lot bigger inside than expected . 3 large double bedrooms and fantastic views , The staff were very helpful and maids came every other day . Pool areas are great . There are a lot of resturants to eat at And reccomend you visit the Duke, Chaplins , great food and fantastic staff Take loads of dosh it is expensive out there

Holiday Home Heaven....

We spent the most amazing 10 days in beautiful tranquil Luz and kens equally beautiful and tranquil villa. Spotless and with housekeeping visiting twice in the 10days was an extra bonus.Loads of space for us, 2 kids and granny.Comfortable and well equipped .We spent every evening dining on the beautiful balcony gazing at sea and stars.The boys aged 7 and 4yrs loved the choice of pools which are just around the corner. The beach is simply stunning and a very short walk from the villa. Ken was a pleasure to deal with and made everything so easy for organizing our trip .The only thing left to say is we'll be back next year 😃

Great Property

Thanks Ken for letting us stay in your property. It was beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean and had all facilities required. My son said it had great internet. We were very lucky that we had great weather and enjoyed coffee on your balcony every morning with the views of the ocean. We never had a bad meal in any of the restaurants that you recommended, the food was exceptional and good value for money.

We would love to return again very soon.

Excellent holiday!

We have just returned from a fantastic week in Luz. This was not our first time in Luz but it was by far the best standard of accommodation we have had. We travelled with 3 adults and 2 under 3's and the property was large enough that we didn't all get in each other's way! The pictures do not give a true representation of the size and the outside space downstairs is amazing and safe for young children. The living space again is so comfortable and is like home from home (but better). Everything you could possibly need is in the property and it has a great location with ample parking. The owners were a delight to deal with throughout and all requests were responded to straight away and fulfilled such as cots and high chairs for the children. We would highly recommend this property and will hopefully be back.

Fantastic family holiday villa

We've just returned from an absolutely wonderful week in Praia da Luz and feel very sad to be home; our holiday just wasn't long enough!

Our two boys (aged 13 and 10) loved the Luz Club pools, which we had almost completely to ourselves most of the time. They are HUGE and deep, and when they tired of the water spent much of their time playing pool and tennis (15 euros per hour).

The beach is beautiful, and the steep walk up to the mysterious obelisk thingy before it gets to hot well worth the climb for a particularly good view of the area and the villa.

The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed - the washing machine was a godsend!

We were also impressed with the town of Luz itself - plenty of places to eat and drink, although we really only tried Chicca's (fabulous food and hostess!), Clives (we splashed out on a shopping list of cocktails!) and Saffron (the best takeaway curry we've had in a long time!).

We very much hope to return soon and can highly recommend the house and surrounding area.

The picturesque village of Praia da Luz is a small, family orientated holiday resort of immense charm, located on the beautiful coastline of Portugal's western Algarve, less than one hour by car or taxi from Faro airport. Nestling in it's own bay just a short drive from the lively resort town of Lagos and with a stunning beach of golden sand, Luz is home to a number of excellent fish restaurants & bars and is perfectly located for an idyllic holiday. Take a stroll along the cliff top paths to the small fishing village of Burgau for a taste of Portugal of a time gone by, enjoy the range of water sports on offer or simply relax and enjoy the beautiful and unhurried way of life that will beckon your return. A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure bookings, with the balance due no later than 6 weeks prior to arrival. A separate security deposit payment of £200 is required to cover any damage including breakages, lost keys etc. This will be returned when the property has been satisfactorily inspected by housekeeping.
