About Kimberly and Robert McKiddy
My husband and I are from Texas and Oklahoma. We have lived here in Pottsboro since 1992. We had to move for a few years, as soon as we had a chance we returned what we consider home to the Texoma Area. The people are kind and have a love for life. We love all that Texoma has to offer from the Lake to Ranch Life. We would like to share the same for others, especially on their summer or winter vacation to a simple get away. We will provide a home away from home like no other. Thank you for staying with us.
Kimberly and Robert McKiddy purchased this Lodge in 2016
Why Kimberly and Robert McKiddy chose Denison
We chose this home with every vacationer in mind. We would like to make your stay as easy as possible. The home is close to six marinas, which provides an easy access for you to take your boat or to rent a boat for your convenience. There are vacationing activities offered in every direction for each vacationer. The location is close to the lake, restaurants, golfing, historic sites, shopping and of course a serene relaxation if you decide to stay at the home. We desire to make your vacation as memorable and wonderful as possible.
What makes this Lodge unique
We fell in love with our home with the Pristine Texas Style and were drawn to the trees and secluded surroundings. As you drive through the gates there is a circle drive for easy access for multiple guests and their vehicles. As you first walk through the front door you will fall in love with the knotty pine 20 foot ceilings and the view of the trees and pool just outside the kitchen and living room windows. The kitchen is covered with beautiful granite counter tops with an island counter for four place settings to sit comfortably. The dining area has Texas Oak Dining Table to seat eight. You may seat twelve with ease. Also there are new stainless steel appliances and the cabinets are fully stocked with dishes, glass ware, flatware, outside safe plates and glasses, cooking utensils with pots and pans for your all baking needs. One of the favorite features which is unique from other homes, is our four foot wading pool, (please no diving allowed) for the comfort of wading in the summer months, and viewing for the colder months. Right outside the kitchen living room windows is a Redwood Pillared covered patio along with comfortable dining area, along with a Gas Grill Bar-B-Que. We will provide a full tank for your stay. In the backyard there is also a fire pit for evening enjoyment. All three bedrooms are relaxing in their own Texas fashion, (brand new furnishings as of November 10th, 2016). Master a King Bed, Upstairs Loft has a Queen Bed with a Hideway Twin, Bedroom #3 also has a queen bed. The family room will have a Queen Hideway Bed, our home sleeps nine guests comfortably. The bathrooms are roomy and with granite counter tops and the showers are lined with rustic tiles. We provided towel linens and paper bathroom products. The laundry room has a washer and dryer with a pull out ironing board. If you have any questions please contact us. Thank you for choosing the Texoma Hideaway where fun and wonderful memories are made! Enjoy!

Everything about the property was amazing. The owners were easy to get a hold of if we had a question and were happy to help if needed. The house was wonderful and secluded. It was just what we needed. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!
Perfect getaway near the lake!
We had a great time at the house and loved the pool and patio!
The perfect Lake home
Our family had a great time at the Texoma Hideaway. Location was ideal, close to the marina, safe & fenced in and on a quiet road for running a few miles. The pool was perfect esp for the little ones in our group. I asked my 3 year old what her favorite part of vacation was and she said " jumping in the pool". The kitchen was ideal for cooking all of our meals , which we did w/ exception to the last dinner (Huck's Catfish & Seafood) and breakfast after checking out early (CJ's Coffee Cafe in Denison). The house is is spacious, enough bathrooms for a large group and it was very clean on arrival. When we come back to Lake Texoma, we plan to book again.
Thank you Kimberly & Robert, for providing an inviting home.
Nice relaxing time in Denison
Nice and clean rental property with great amenities. Owners responded promptly about any questions. We will plan to stay here again!
The property was beautiful, we loved the house as it was very comfortable and nice. We are thankful for the pool as our trip was a little disappointing due to the weather and the lake closings.
