The bathroom has a soaking tub with whirlpool and shower. It is furnished with unique pieces from around the world and has whole-house AC.

We recently stood at the Carriage House and had an amazing time! This is not my first time renting a property off homeaway. The best thing about this rental is that it's just as seen in the pictures and/or even better. It is such a cozy place! We didn't really use the kitchen but it is well equipped. The property is centrally located; we went hiking, visited some of the wineries and event went into New Paltz. Very short drive to everything. My favorite part was enjoying Jeannette's delicious meal! This is a must do while staying in any of Sterrett's properties. I also must say Sterrett has a special eye for decor! Everything looks so perfect in her home! She responded quickly to all of my emails! We hope to visit again soon. I gave the house 5 stars!
The house is beautifully decorated - elegant yet rustic. It is centrally located and near all restaurants, wine stores, grocery stores, historic places to visit. Kitchen is fully stocked with pots/pan/utensils. Lots of running space for the dogs. The entire house is SUPER clean and very comfy/cozy. Someone even shoveled the driveway after it snowed one of the days we were there. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a romantic, relaxing place to stay.
We had a wonderful time staying three nights in the carriage house. It was spacious, beautiful and comfortable with amenities, including a gas-powered "wood" stove, in close proximity to many places of interest and activities including the Mohonk Preserve and New Paltz. Quiet is also a good descriptor of this location and especially important to us and our active little dog Tica. It was extremely clean, furnished well with antiques, with a nicely equipped kitchen and a spacious bathroom providing excellent hot water on demand. Although there are other houses on this property they are spaced well apart with a large open field with scattered woods adjacent to the long driveway which was excellent for bird watching. The owner was attentive and helpful with arrangements and directions for getting there, using appliances and for general house procedures. A lot of information was provided in the form of brochures and maps on local destinations and events. We thought the pricing was excellent and we would highly recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to this beautiful and rural location.
We spent two nights in the Carriage House. Everything about the property was first rate.
-A very comfortable king bed.
-Nice views out the windows.
-The kitchen was well stocked with tools.
-Everything was clean
The owner was pro-active and responsive.
We hope to come again next year.
The carriage house is an elegant, spacious, light and airy space - very much as depicted in the pictures, if not better. It lends itself to relaxation and rejuvenation! The kitchen was very well-equipped (though it's a half-fridge, not full, for those who eat in) with good pans and knives. We really enjoyed the beautiful views out every window, and saw a fox and several deer while there. Even though it's in the country, the main market and a pharmacy are only 10 minutes away, and there are several beautiful hiking trails, bike railtrails, and swimming places all within 15 minutes. New Paltz and Kingston offered several excellent restaurant meals as well. The full AC was helpful during the summer heat - made it hard to leave sometimes! All in all, highly recommended.
The house was great, very well equipped. Comfortable and it was a pleasure to have our dogs along. The owner could not have been nicer. If you want a getaway in High Falls NY
this is the place. The wild life was incredible right on the property- deer, fox and bunnies
running around down the road on the property- just GREAT.
The house has linens, towels and a coffee grinder, life is good. I gave the house 5 stars .
