What a wonderful vacation, but it's time to go home. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us and thanks to Kathleen for her quick responses to our few inquiries. Although 2270 Vista isn't on the official list, it was certainly "our special vortex site" where we would re-energize after a day of sightseeing, driving on scenic roads, shopping, ect. We will miss the Thunder Mountain and Coffee Pot view from the living room. A beautiful greeting in the morning! We didn't feel like strangers in your home but as special guests. Although the journey is sometimes more important than the destination, Sedona met all our expectations and more. As we bid farewell let me share with your a blessing that a Native American artist gave to me while visiting his gallery, He simply wrote: "Wishing you the magic of the sacred winds." (Bearcloud). Enjoy your stay in April. Thanks again and au revoir! Marcel and Colette, Sudbury, Ontario, Canada
My wife and I had a wonderful stay in Sedona for the month of January at Lynn Gentile's house. She has provided a comfortable, spacious and well-maintained home with amazing views and all amenities. It is within walking distance of a grocery store, restaurants, 2 theaters, a gym, and a number of hiking trails. It is centrally located for trips to many area attractions--galleries, ruins, parks, etc--and we took advantage of many of them. Also, January had some chilly days (even a little snow), so we certainly enjoyed the gas fireplace.
Our favorite activity was hiking. There are many, well-marked trails and the scenery was stunning. If the weather was bad, we visited galleries (recommend Greg Lawson's, Tlaquepaque, and Exposures) and did the wineries tour. Restaurants we particularly liked include Elote', Mariposa, Rene', and Barking Frog -- but even the smaller places were very good.
At the end of our month, we hated to leave but hope to be back next year.
This home is exquisite, the views amazing, and the property owner a real gem! We will contact Lynn again when we return to Sedona. Highly recommend!!
We enjoyed this rental and our stay in Sedona so much we decided to move here! The home is cozy, clean, and spacious. Amazing views from the living room. Close to everything you need....movie theater, Starbucks, Safeway and many restaurants and shops. Lynn was amazing to work with. Anything we needed, she responded and helped with right away. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
We stayed at a few houses and condos in Sedona in the past, and this is by far the best! It's beautifully decorated and nicely furnished throughout the house and a big deck with gorgeous red rock views! The master bathroom has a shower room with a steam bath, and in the cold season the floor can be heated. The month of May this year was unusually wet and cold, so I indulged myself occasionally with a relaxing steam bath before retiring for the day! It has a tank-less hot water system, so that you never have to worry about running out of hot water. It has a huge walk in closet! We had the privilege of meeting Lynn, the home owner, and she was very accommodating and great to talk to. This was our second time staying in this house and we definitely will return! Thank you Lynn for letting us share your beautiful home!
My family stayed at this home in November and our experience was nothing short of stellar! The elegant and beautiful amenities of the interior décor are only rivaled by the breathtaking natural beauty of the tranquil surroundings. This is an oasis where one can go to truly clear their mind and appreciate the natural ambiances that Sedona has to offer. There are plenty of adventures to behold in the neighboring area and even if you do nothing but sip a cocktail on the luxurious outdoor deck you will be treated to a relaxing experience. Lynn is a dear and she was very accommodating to coordinate our stay with. I would highly recommend this home and location to anyone who is searching for a quiet getaway in a gorgeous environment. We can’t wait to visit again!
This home is truly a "home away" from home on a quiet cul-de-sac in West Sedona with lots a trees, a great view, and a conscientious owner. You couldn't ask for anything more!
Located in Sedona, your are close to all shopping and tourist attractions yet in a quiet neighborhood. There is a visitors center 2 blocks away. The major vortex in Sedona is located 3 blocks from the house at the airport where folks gather nightly to watch the sun set. Cottonwood is a 15 min. drive and has wonderful antique stores and restaurants in "old town". My favorite restaurant in Old town Cottonwood is "Bacci"s with an indoor-outdoor bar, huge outdoor seating with fire pits, Bacci Ball court of course, and is located on the edge of a breathtaking riverbed.
Other Activities: relaxing and taking in the beauty and tranquility of the redrocks.
