Casa Panorama is the perfect place to put your feet up and relax in contemporary, cowboy-inspired comfort. An end unit, this very private, spacious Casa faces North and East. With a generous open plan, it captures the Million Dollar Catalina Mountain views from the living room, kitchen, both bedrooms (especially your master suite) and the tranquil private courtyard. With its serene Foothills location, we are certain you will enjoy this peaceful, panoramic hideaway!
We welcome you to enjoy this special, single level patio home, where the large windows bring the outdoors inside; where you wake to majestic views of Sabino Canyon and Bear Canyon; where you enjoy privacy and no noise other than nature - hummingbirds, doves, finches and quails - all for your enjoyment; where you can totally relax and yet be just 1/4 mile from an outstanding bakery, a super pizzeria and a classic Mexican take-out.
Completely renovated in 2013, everything is new from custom cabinetry to stainless steel kitchen appliances to the spa-like bathrooms. The walled courtyard features a contemporary 8' gas fire pit surrounded with sofa couches for outdoor living comfort, a bbq grill, and a separate dining area. Other wonderful features: new washer/dryer; located directly across the neighborhood 'street' from the community pool and jacuzzi.
Spring & the Desert Bloom: The desert in its haunting beauty regales in the Spring, showering the vista with abundant green foliage and brightly colored flowers. The dazzling transformation is all the more impressive because you recall what once appeared dry and sparse. The riot of wildflower beauty is loudest in March & April. While the Saguaro night blooming flowers are famed, try your hand at finding the more than three dozen other wildflowers that are home in the Sonoran desert.
Summer & No Humidity!: Who goes to Tucson in the Summer you ask? Anyone who lives on the humid East Coast, South and Midwest. We call it the SECRET SEASON. It is easy to get on the golf course, Sabino Canyon is quiet, Mt Lemmon provides a beautiful hike. Sure the temperature is in the high 90's but it is a pleasant, dry heat.
Start your day with a hike in Sabino or a round of golf or a game of tennis. Afterward, enjoy brunch on the shaded patio. Head indoors to take an afternoon nap, read a book or enjoy the myriad of galleries. As the evening cools down, it's time for a fabulous dinner!

I'm Theresa and I manage this home for my mother, Sheila. She decided to buy in Tucson because my three brothers, two of their wives and I graduated from U of A many years ago. We now have busy lives with our own families across the country. Tucson is what all of us share as common. It is a place filled with fond memories. One day, Sheila says, we may find a common time to get together for a family reunion.
The home in Tucson is really quite special. My mother is a highly-sought interior designer with clients throughout the US. She has made Casa Panorama feel particularly comfortable and very much like home. For many years, she and my father vacationed in Tucson, and her main 'gripe' was that the homes they rented all felt like hotel rooms or were over-the-top 'southwest' cheesy. My folks always paid top dollar for their rentals but the furnishings always seemed like left-overs or cheap college dorm rooms. Since we are from Arizona originally, my mother knew just how to integrate the fine qualities of European relais-et-chateaux with the essence of the southwest.

We really enjoyed Casa Panorama, we were here visiting our son for Christmas. He is stationed here at the AF Base. We very much enjoyed the beautiful mountains from almost every window, they look so close you feel you could almost reach out and touch them! The Casa itself is very comfortable, with very nice furnishings and design. It’s location is very convenient to lots of hiking trails, restaurants and shopping. And the owners, Sheila and Theresa, were so nice and available for any questions and help we needed. Thank you so much, ladies, for your wonderful hospitality, you don’t know how much that meant to us!
This condo is in a wonderful location on the east side of Tucson - with lovely views of the mountains. The house is large, with plenty of space and comfortable beds and chairs. The kitchen is very well equipped. We were there in August during monsoon season, and discovered that when it rained giant cockroaches appeared in the house. I would assume this is seasonal as we have stayed in other rentals in Tucson at other times of year and have never seen this. The owner referred a pest control person, but as we were only there for a week it proved impossible to schedule an appointment. I would recommend this rental - but would hesitate to recommend it in the rainy season.
We stayed at Casa Panorama for two weeks over the Christmas season. We had a wonderful time and loved the views of the Catalina Mountains. The unit sleeps four very comfortably and is very well stocked. We enjoyed all the art, too. There is a hot tub/pool across the street. The east side of Tucson is quieter than the downtown area and is just right for walks. In addition, Casa Panorama is very close to Sabino Canyon and at least two golf courses. The hiking is great and we did several. It even snowed during our visit. Tucson never looked better. Highly recommended.
We needed a place to stay while we were in the process of selling/buying a house here in Tucson. We found this vacation home and stayed for a month. It was great! We were very comfortable. The house has many amenities from a completely stocked kitchen with utensils, coffee maker, toaster, etc. All we had to do was bring clothes and food!
Thanks Sheila for accommodating us while we were in transition. I highly recommend your Casa Panorama! It's a great place!
Not only are the appointments of exquisite taste, they make the house very comfortable.
The pictures do not do justice to this home. Original artwork and inspired interior decor with warm touches make this the perfect home away from home. Everything is impeccably clean and convenient. The house has a green and airy feel due to the the atriums and generous back courtyard. Everywhere you look is serene and steeped in nature. The layout is open and feels very spacious yet the furniture choices are comfy and invite lounging. The bed was very comfortable and the view of the mountain---spectacular! Bathrooms (great Roman bath/shower) and kitchen are well lit, clean and up to date possessing all the amenities of home. We could have been happy staying home, in front of the fire or outdoors, reading , playing cards lingering over coffee or a glass of wine---which we did some. But we also hiked in Sabino Canyon everyday, came home and took a dip in the quiet, cool pool and then napped or enjoyed one of the wonderful local restaurants----Wildflower, North, ZenBurger to name a few. If you need a relaxing respite or a more active vacation and want something more upscale, this place is for you! PS: betterthancanyonranch! J.Davis
