Welcome to our relaxing and peaceful New Hampshire Lake House! A beautiful lakefront location overlooking Baptist Pond, complete with an island. Sit on the deck while you watch and listen to the loons as they swim about the pond. Or cast your fishing line while paddling out to explore the island.

If it's the winter season you prefer, there's great skiing and snowboarding at nearby Mt. Sunapee Ski Resort. XC skiing is the specialty at NORSK Cross Country Ski in the nearby college town of New London. Or, just cuddle up with a good book next to the woodstove!

Beautiful, relaxing getaway

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was lovely, with great views of the pond from practically every room. Several fun hikes are nearby. An ideal place for peace and quiet, but still convenient for Sunapee and New London. We had a fantastic time, and would love to return.

Great winter spot for the family

  • 5 of 5

We rented the house for 3 days during February break and had the best time! We have three young kids and there was plenty of room for all. The house is on a pretty little lake, and we are planning to come back in the summer for some more days.

We made a fun sledding hill next to the cottage, ending on the lake. The kids had a blast and we did not have to go anywhere. Dog friendly as well, and the street does not get too much traffic. It is a bit close to the highway and you can hear the trucks in the still of the night, but this was not really an issue for any of us.

One part of the house is heated by a large wood stove, and it took some time figuring out the correct burn settings to keep the temp below 80, but it is well set up and more than adequate to heat the area.

Great spot and an easy rental experience, close to Sunapee, and I'm sure it is awesome in the summer as well. Will definitely go back.

Much needed quiet vacation.

  • 5 of 5

Had a wonderful time at this little get a way. We endured hurricane Irene with no problem. We were even allowed to move in a day early, so that we would not have to travel during the hurricane. We lost power for a few hours but that was minor to us. The lake was beautiful for swimming. The cottage was clean and comfortable. We would love to come again.

Winter fun!

  • 5 of 5

The lake house in the winter is a wonderful place to hang out and play. It is close to both Ragged Mountain and Sunapee for great family skiing trips. Our kids always had fun skating or playing hockey on the lake right outside the house or even hiking out to the island or ice fishing. The house is also close to the the Vermont border too so that you can venture off to Vermont for some great skiing as well. This area of NH has much to offer if you are willing to explore. Great resturants and shopping. The house itself is very clean and well equiped and the owners keep it plowed well. Linda was wonderful to work with and was quick to solve any problems should something arise. We highly recommend this house for winter fun.

Quiet family getaway

  • 5 of 5

My family has been to this cottage many times and we consider this our summer vacation spot. We always enjoy ourselves immensely and as soon as we leave we count down the months until we come back. The lake is incredible with great sunsets and even better sunrises. The boats are a plus and allows "the boys" to do some of the best fishing ever. We always take a trip out to the island for a campfire and smores. It is a relaxing locaton with plenty of ammenities that are modern. It sleeps 6 comfortably has a great kitchen, beautiful porch to read a book, and a wood stove on chilly nights. My family and I wish we had more time to go up during the fall/winter to enjoy the foliage and sking nearby. My family enjoys the New Hampshire lake house and counts down til we go there again.

Charming, Clean and Comfortable

  • 5 of 5

I have stayed at this cottage twice now and will go back again. It is immaculate and has everything you need from a nicely equipped kitchen to pillows, blankets, water "equipment", games, books, woodburning stove and wood. It has the charm of a small lake cottage with ample room to spread out. It truly accomodates 6 easily and comfortably, and an added 2 would not be a problem. A great place for kids. The location is easy to get to and has wonderful access to a variety of activities and places to see. The pond is large enough to enjoy, but small and quiet, except for the occassional call of a loon. You will also find that the rental process is easy and very friendly!
