Larger than average - 120sqms - 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment with vast living area 6m x 7ms and a further 3m x 6m covered veranda, gives loads of breathing space for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Very private but easily accessible for pushchairs. Fully air conditioned or heated (included), linen and furnished. Both bedrooms have beautiful built in wardrobes, bedside lights and wood slated blinds over large floor to ceiling windows through which you can see the sea! Lively & colourful paintings by a local artist adorn the walls. Being part of a prestigious discreet development it has a well-maintained communal pool, sunbeds and umbrellas. The blocks nestle into the hills above the charming village of Oroklini which is a short 2 minute stroll away. Amenities include bakeries, mini super markets, florist, hardware shop, internet, banks, DVD rental, hairdressers, bookshop, as well as tavernas, cafes, bars and restaurants.

A fun trip for the whole family; Aphrodite 11 from Agia Napa Harbour, departure 11.15am daily returns 3.45pm. Around E25. Takes you to Protara, sea caves, Cape greco, Konnos Bay & see the view of the deserted high rises of Famagusta. This is a very clean, comfortable and friendly boat, snorkel equipment provided FOC.

If you are a diver see the wreck of the Zenobia - the Titanic of the Med.

Scuba Diving: Whether you want the Padi or BSAC disciplines, Viking Divers can offer a range of dive trips and tuition. On the Dhekalia Road. They will also pick you up and drop you back - refer to Gill for personal contact email to Viking.

A must see - Kourion - just past Limassol - ancient amphitheatre and ruins, spectacular scenery - people even paraglide over them! My mother-in-law and friend (both 80yrs) stated 'if we had done nothing else in Cyrpus we would have been very happy just to have seen this!'.

A divided city - Nicosia - old town where Cyprus meets Turkey. Now the borders are down you can explore Turkish Nicosia or take a trip to Kyrenia harbour and visit the old fort. Belapaix monastery ruins are very impressive, well worth a visit, on the hills overlooking miles of coastline and Kyrenia.

If you were to use the sofa bed in the living room this would still be private as a secondary door separates the bedrooms and bathrooms from the living area. Notes:
If there is anything that you may need or to get sorted our housekeeper who lives in the village will help. There is one cot in the apartment and also one high chair. Even though the entrance to the apartment block has a wheelchair ramp from the road and we have a removable ramp that fits over our 2 steps up to the front door (stored between air conditioning units to the left of the front door), we have no further facilities inside the apartment suitable for disabled i.e. no handles by the toilets, no wet room. Please also note that our veranda has a completely covered roof, unlike any of the others in the development, which is wonderful in the summer but also adds added protection in the winter. Currently there is only local TV coverage (including Euronews), the TV screen can show DVDs, also with the correct adaptor your laptop can be fed through the TV. Internet/Wifi available on request - an additional charge of E20 for up to 2 weeks is required.

A pleasant, spacious and, above all, COOL apartment

We very much enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very well equipped with plenty of room and a balcony that is in the shade most of the time (very useful at the hot end of June!). The location was perfect for us with shops, tavernas etc. all within easy reach.

Fantastic appartment, in a great location.

We had a fantastic time in this very large well equipt appartment, that whas spotless. The pool and surrounding areas were very well maintained,with lovely flowers and bushes all around.The location is perfect for the village amenities. great spacious balcony, with fantastic views. We will definately be visiting again soon.

Absolutely wonderful apartment. Very comfortable very homely beautifully decorated. Equipped for all and everything you need to make your stay perfect. The views are fabulous. I have spent the last 8 years coming to Oroklini at least twice a year and stay in a couple of apartments sometimes alone, sometimes with a friend and sometimes with family but this apartment is beyond doubt and by far the best. From first booking, the advice and support from Gill the owner to the wonderful whow factor on arrival once you enter and see the views and the facilities is first rate. I've already planned two more trips. Thank you Gill and thank you Angela. Linda

Fantastic place to stay

I booked this for my parents as a surprise. They loved it. Gill, the owner, was really helpful in ensuring my parents had a relaxing stay. My parents said : "It is a lovely location to get away from it all and relax and recharge" and "the apartment is even nicer in real life than in the pictures". Our apartment is 20 minutes East of Larnaca airport, being this side of Larnaca you avoid any aircraft noise. Being just inland from Larnaca Bay (2kms) and elevated on the side of the Oroklini Hills you have a panoramic view over Oroklini village even though the apartment is ground floor level. Excellent 2 lane highways connect with Agia Napa, Larnaca airport, Limassol, Pathos, Troodus area and Nicosia (25 minutes), not that you are even aware they are close by and there are never any traffic jams! Dhekalia Road and Larnaca Bay 'area' (2 mins by car) which runs close to the coast, has many more restaurants, internet cafes, sports bars, dive shops etc (and large 5 star hotels) than Oroklini if you want more 'action'. Turn right when you hit the coast and about 8 minutes drive takes you into Larnaca. A yacht harbour on one side of the 'promenade' and a fishing harbour on the other with wonderful fish restaurants, old fort, lots of shops and many other tourist attractions and museums

Departure time is 10am, arrival time is 4pm. Please contact us to extend these times, do not assume if there is no booking following it is ok to delay departure, there could be reasons for the gap, i.e.maintenance works. Thank you.
If you require grocery supplies we are happy to do this for a small fee. If there are more than 4 people staying then a surcharge of E10/per night is levied. We reserve the right to request a refundable deposit.

A deposit of Euros120 per week is required, the balance needs to be paid 6 weeks before arrival. If booking is made 8 weeks or less then the total amount is payable. Clients should pay Euros directly into my Cyprus Bank account (Sterling £s into UK bank account by arrangement). Please contact me for special rates and discounts for bookings of 10 days or more, or last minute bookings.
