We fell in love with this enchanting cottage because of its location. You walk out the door and within steps you are at the ocean.
This is an old fashioned 1930's beach cottage with lots of privacy and it is totally fenced in. We've hired a talented gardener/ designer who uses Florida native beach flowers and grasses to create a shore setting. There is beach fencing to enhance the casual feeling of being right on the sand.
Come and relax at our 1930’s totally renovated cottage by the sea. We've decorated it with charming vintage finds. Including chandeliers that light up the patio area at night creating a magical setting for romance and family fun.
We love sitting on the deck at night feeling the breezes off the ocean.
Immerse yourself in the world of Old Florida, the way it used to be. Grab your coffee and watch the miracle of a sunrise as the dolphins play and the pelicans fly overhead. Sometimes you will see a couple of the locals fishing and it's fun to check if they "got lucky" yet. It's so peaceful walking along our quiet beach to the inlet where you can see the old St Augustine lighthouse on the other side and other historical sites.
Many activities are available at the beach...parasailing, fishing, kayaking, boating. Why not sail on the pirate ship “Black Raven' If you sail on Wednesday it docks at Aunt Kate’s restaurant for a delicious seafood dinner. We also love walking to our favorite local restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner. (We’ll leave you a list). You can walk to our beautiful pier (you can fish from it) too.
Feel like visiting the 15th century? A short ride over the bridge and you are in ancient St. Augustine. The oldest settlement and fort in the USA.
Explore the historical sites and enjoy the family owned restaurants. Take a tour. Either a trolley or a romantic horse and carriage ride.
Fall asleep to the sound of the surf and the swaying palm trees in our hammock on the deck. Yes you can see some of the ocean from the deck.

We rented a cottage in the area and fell in love with it. I had always dreamed of having a place where we could grab our coffees and walk the beach. The charming quaint cottages and the quietness of the area are so relaxing. There is a beautiful nature walk across the street.
Having the ancient city of St Augustine so close by makes the location perfect. Interesting restaurants and beautiful architecture just make it a dream location. We love and use the cottage when it is not rented.
In addition to being less than 10 minutes from the ancient city, you can walk to at least 3 good restaurants from the cottage.
I had an extended stay here and really enjoyed it. I was very comfortable, within steps to the beach, and the cottage was stocked with everything I needed even for a few months. I'd definitely recommend it!
This cottage is just as pictured, it is darling. It is located very close to the bridge from St. Augustine to Vilano Beach & sits 3 houses from a quiet beautiful part of that beach. It feels tucked in with the high fence all around, although the other houses are very close. The shaded patio was always cool & at night when the chandeliers come on, it is pretty romantic. We sat on the top deck most evenings, a nice ocean breeze & peek of water, very relaxing (especially in the hammock) Inside, it is well stocked, very comfy bed & great shower. The decor is fun to walk around & discover, quite eclectic. My favorite was the over sized window seat, snuggle in there with all those pillows, your book, wine or tea & it is pretty nice!
We walked to the restaurant Beaches at Vilano one night, very good. We got take out pizza from 180 Vilano another night, also very good. It was such a neat little kitchen we cooked quite a bit & dined under the chandeliers! St. Augustine is a short ez drive & a fantastic town. We were torn between fun town, great beach & sweet cottage! The owners were terrific to work with. It has its quirks, it is a 1930's cottage, but, therein lies its charms!! Enjoy it
cottage was supper clean and very interesting. everything you could need was there, and was close to food and all other needs! great vacation and we will definitely stay there again!!! larry morgan
Property owners/managers where very helpful and accommodating.
Cottage was immaculate and had everything we could need.
Fantastic grocery store around the corner, literally. Restaurants and historic attractions not much further away.
Yard was perfect for our pet, totally enclosed and secure.
Will definitely go back and recommend it to everyone.
Our stay at the cottage was perfect. The location can't be beat - steps to the beach, walking distance to Pubix and a 5 minute drive to historic St. Augustine. The house is comfortable with everything we needed provided. The decor was vintage cozy & fitting for a 1930's beach cottage. Carolyn was wonderful to work with.
We would definitely stay here again.
We had a very enjoyable stay. The cottage is so close to restaurants and Publix. We walked to both. The décor was very nice with a good book selection. We loved the outside space and lights for dining outside in the evening.
