Incredible place, incredible stay. Picturesque home on beautiful, sprawling property. Our visit could not have been better. Large spacious rooms full of character and country charm. Multiple fireplaces. Fully equipt chefs kitchen, fire pit & brick barbecue for grilling outside. Really enjoyed the salt water pool during the day.. and at night under the stars! Also Dave is the best! He had fresh eggs from the chickens and beautiful squash from the garden waiting in the kitchen for us upon arrival. A perfect stay.
Space for everyone. Rooms with beds and daybeds galore to sleep, rest or read. Sunlight throughout lights up all rooms. Lovely country rooms. Working farm picturesque red barn. Fully furnished and well supplied kitchen. Several patios to follow the sun. Salt water pool suitable for laps or relaxation. Just under one hour to Hudson, Saratoga, Tanglewood, williamstown,Jacobs pillow etc. little traffic on routes to events from this area.
We rented this spacious and well appointed house in Old Chatham for a family reunion. But what we found was BETTER than the description. it was homey for the kids, elegant for the adults, large enough for privacy yet designed for communal gatherings. The heated pool allowed the children to swim from morning to evening; the play room allowed them to learn new games. The kitchen is well designed for a large group, too. We couldn't ask for anything more. Oh, and Brian's salsa and chips are a miracle on the taste bud!!
This house has it all!!! Immaculate design (this house is newly renovated-- with reclaimed materials--which to me is the ideal). It has top of the line fixtures and amenities. This house is the absolute perfect combination of rustic, chic, utility & comfort. We are a group of 8 friends (a combination of some couples and some singles) who escaped NYC for Mem Day Wknd. The kitchen is fantastic for a group of our size. We cooked every meal and aside from a few of the guys playing golf one morning, we never left the house! The outdoor patio area is so relaxing and fun to hang out in. Some of us would play bocce, others would be grilling, while some meandered over to the Icelandic ponies across the dirt road. There are multiple places to curl up and read a book for those looking for quiet downtime. In the evenings, we hung out in the basement area which has a sweet set up including a pool table, bar stools, surround sound, huge flat screen tv, and comfortable seating for playing games. Set on 400 acres, you could explore outside every day for hours. Things like two dishwashers and a separate wet bar with ice machine were major bonuses. The folks managing the property are also very attentive and hospitable! We will absolutely be back. Can't wait to rent again.
What a fabulous house this is. The setting is beautiful, with a wonderful view from every window. And the house is a delight. Every detail in every room is a treat for the eye. The rooms are comfortable as well, with lots of sitting areas throughout the house and outdoors too. The needs of guests have been anticipated and met. The house exceeded my expectations, which were already high, so I was pleasantly surprised
It is a perfect spot for a relaxing get-away no matter what time of year.
The Seven Bridges Inn setting is idyllic, picturesque and charming and then there is the fabulous house. Beautifully appointed, with every room being warm and welcoming, the six of us spent much time in the sunroom and the living room not to mention the great kitchen. I had the pleasure of staying in the spacious and sun-filled master suite which I could have stayed in ithe whole time! Seven Bridges Inn is the type of home that you want to experience in all four seasons. Mimi, the owner, has created a most wonderful space for people to reflect or to party in or both.I can't wait to return.
