I, Charlene, have visited the Great Smoky Mountain National Park since I was a child. I introduced the mountains to my husband, Bruce and daughter, Ansleigh. We have vacationed in Gatlinburg, several times a year, for the last 13 years. During the last 5 years we have actively searched for a cabin. God blessed us with the perfect cabin and even a rental cabin in September, 2009. We were also blessed with jobs, I am a teacher and Bruce is working for with the National Park service. Our daughter loves her school. We have a boxer, Daisy, who even loves the beautiful walks, and especially the wildlife. In 2010 we were blessed with another cabin 'Bear Paws'. 'Bear Paws' has a majestic view. See vrbo listing # 300489 Now we are able to offer our personal home as an overnight rental, due to the purchase of a larger home with ammenities for our guest.
Charlene Bratcher purchased this cabin in 2009
We chose the location of our rental, 'Bear Naked', and our home, because of its close proximity to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We are minutes from Dollywood, dinner theatres, and other family oriented activities in Pigeon Forge. We are just as close to Gatlinburg, where we enjoy shopping, browsing and dining out. If you are looking for a more commercial area, Sevierville is equally as close, as this is where I work. There are hundreds of free activities in the Great Smoky Mountains.
Our cabin is very unique because it is individualized for YOU. We want to share our happiness of owning the cabin, with YOU. We go the extra mile to insure a wonderful experience for YOU. The cabin will be personalized as YOU wish. If you are celebrating a birthday, anniversary, or any special occasion just contact me. I can have a birthday cake, balloons and the cabin decorated prior to your visit. For honeymooners, champagne, and roses can already be on the bed. If you want to surprise a special someone, a bed of roses would be so fragrant and beautiful. A snack basket or fruit basket can be waiting for you to enjoy upon arrival. If you are anxious to get to the cabin or too tired to stop for dinner, an assortment of breads, cheeses, and sandwich meats can be already in the cabin for you. Whatever YOU want for a meal, even a meal from your favorite restaurant. If you would just like dessert and coffee, that can also be available. Use your imagination, let me do the shopping and decorating for YOU. We want your experience in our cabin to be one that you will remember, and hopefully can become a tradition.

We had a great time in such a beautiful cabin. Charlene and Bruce were so helpful with the best places to eat, the best shows. It seems you are dropped in the middle of God's
creation, but only a few minutes to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge or Sevierville. We were literally minutes from Dollywood, the Island , and all attractions and restaurants. This will definitely be our home away from home.
Cozy. The cabin was beautiful. The owners were courteous. No steep mountains to get to which for me was great but the views are awesome
My boyfriend and I stayed at this cabin earlier in October with another couple. The cabin was very clean, well kept and it was plenty big enough for four adults and one dog. Charlene was very consistent with communication and was able to answer any questions that we had. The location was convenient and close to all of the tourist locations while still allowing some privacy/seclusion. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back! - Sierra and Darick
This a zero star review I visited the three bear cabin with my pregnant wife before the baby comes we want to have a one last vacation needless to say there wasn't much sleep and not in the way you would think when we arrived we we're happy at first glance then we went in the restroom all the linens were stained let that go then I go upstairs to put the suitcase down I put it on the bed and it was covered with hair so we go to pigeon Forge and buy a new bed sheets i wasn't happy then on the last day I go down stairs to watch tv for a minute and would know it I look over at the fire place there is a dead cockroach just sitting on the mantle needless to say we high tailed it out of there 😡😡😡this is the first review I have ever wrote on anything there are hundreds of cabins in the area I'd choose another one OHhh yeah fireplace didn't work washer and dryer didn't work either hot tub had no chlorine smell what so ever trash cans on the back porch was full of trash the couch was stained GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!
We had a wonderful time. Our cabin was well maintained and very nice. The owners were very nice and were on top of anything we needed. We definitely are looking forward to renting this cabin again. Hoping we can rent again in mid October next year if not booked already. Thanks you again for everything. Tom and Sheryl.
I stayed there five days my family enjoy and the owner very helpful
We love this resort. This was our second visit to bear pen gap resort. This time we brought some family members and rented two of the cabins. The cabins were cozy, comfortable, we had everything we needed to settle in for a week. The owners are friendly, and make you feel right at home. The cabins are secluded and private, yet just a few short miles from all the attractions. From the inground pool to the jacuzzis to the hot tubs... The breathtaking views, the porches to relax. It was a perfect vacation
