Need a family vacation that won't break your wallet? Summer Lake #31 is located in Destin/Sandestin’s most convenient and popular locales. This peaceful and relaxing getaway is unlike other condos along this spectacular stretch of the Emerald Coast because it is very economical and has FRONT DOOR PARKING.

Our condo is beautifully furnished. There are two bedroom suites upstairs with HDTV's and DVD players. Both bedrooms have their own private bathroom. There is a king-size bed in the master bedroom and queen-size bed in the guest bedroom. If needed, two additional people can sleep on the pull out sofa/bed. You’ll enjoy the luxury of having a washer and dryer as well as an iron and ironing board right in the condo. Pets and Smoking are NOT allowed.

The downstairs has an open living area with a convenient half bath, an open kitchen with breakfast bar, a dining room, and a living room with a 50' HDTV and DVD. You will be pleased to find a screened porch. This is where we like to leave a float, a 'noodle', and a rolling cooler for our guests. Feel free to use them while relaxing in the pool or at the beach. The quiet swimming pool and sunbathing area is at your front door. In fact, you can see it from the front patio, the kitchen window and the upstairs bedroom... perfect for keeping an eye on kids and/or a quick, hassle-free dip in the pool!

Stores and local attractions are a breeze. You never have to get in your car if you choose to avoid traffic. Walk behind our community and find all you need for the week: a supermarket, drugstore, fish market, liquor store, video store, two ice cream shops,a family restaurant/sports bar, and a couple fast food spots. In addition, The Silver Sands Designer Outlet Mall (80+ stores) is less than three blocks from your front door! The Destin Commons is located five miles to the west. The Commons has a AMC Theater, a Bass Pro Shop and many other shops for you to enjoy. Baytowne Wharf and Grand Boulevard also has a theater are awesome additions to our coummunity.

If you turn right out of the community, you will find a sidewalk leading straight to the beautiful white beaches (.3 mile) of the Gulf of Mexico! Our friends and family have been sun lovers of this particular spot on the beach for over fifteen years. Many locals know this magnificent beach area as 'The Whale’s Tail.'

The new 'Surf Hut' restaurant is only two blocks away to the right!!

Whether you lay out or play in the surf, you can enjoy the music that plays on the beach during weekend afternoons. This all day spot also has excellent food (including breakfast on the beach), beverages, showers and bathrooms! It is NOT a coincidence that we bought our second 'home' only a half of a mile from this beloved beach paradise! You're sure to love it too!

If you choose to explore down the same strip, about a fourth of a mile down the beach are two more popular gulf view restaurants, Pompano Joe’s and Captain Dave’s Seafood. Located less than eight miles away are Big Kahuna’s Water Park and The Racetrack for kids and the young at heart. Also in town are Destin’s fishing docks and entertaining nightlife. If golf is your thing as it is mine there are 10 courses within 10 minutes of Summer Lake. There is something ideal for everyone!

Great Place. Fun Vacation

Awesome location. Fair price, clean, & comfy. Dad enjoyed being on the near endless running path to train, mom enjoyed walking to restaurants and outlet malls, and boys enjoyed the beach and wifi.

Property is lovely, clean and convenient.

We rented this townhouse last year and really liked it so we rented again this year. Our stay started off rough with no A/C. We slept with the windows open but it still didn't get below 81 degrees...quite uncomfortable. Bill was quick to get someone out the next morning and all was well from then on.
