Quiet luxury retreat close to Abersoch, and beautiful surrounding countryside
About Jenny Jones
We live on the Wirral and are passionate about Bryn Goleu. We have 3 girls who are now 26, 23 and 19 who have all got lovely memories of Bryn Goleu. We have owned the cottage for 11 years and have made many improvements. Each year we up-grade or improve an area of the cottage. We visit in school holidays and at least one weekend a month just for the break and to keep on top of maintenance and standards. We are always available to help with any minor problems you might come across.
Jenny Jones purchased this Cottage in 2007
Why Jenny Jones chose Tudweiliog
The views. the peace, the space. A time to chill with either friends and family or just sometimes on our own. We love the Llyn and in particular Abersoch. We are amazed how many people come back to the area time and time again and have their own fond memories from their childhood. We have many returning guests year after year which is a testament to the quality of the property.
What makes this Cottage unique
Spacious. Far enough from the maddening crowd in summer but near enough to drive to - within 10 or so minutes. A kitchen you will want to cook in just for the views, fantastic patio to sit with your glass of wine or cup of tea. Enough space to not feel crowded even when 8 guests staying and a beautiful inglenook log burner in the fantastic lounge. Fantastic fire for cosy winter evenings
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
We came to stay for my dads 60th as a family and couldn’t rate the place enough. Beautiful inside and out
Beautifully appointed cottage with stunning views
The cottage is located right in the centre of the peninsula, under the striking profile of Garnfadryn, so you are perfectly placed for touring the area. It's incredibly quiet, reached by a series of narrow country roads - happily, the owners give you excellent instructions for arriving. Everything is very clean and pleasant, the kitchen spacious and well appointed.
Words cannot describe this little gem!
We attended this cottage in the midst of Feb as a group of 4 friends.
The first thing that we noticed was that the photos just don't do it justice, the photos look great but the place is even better. Beautiful location with amazing views, we even sat outside one night with a bottle of wine just to enjoy the countryside silence. Nobody spoke for about 30 minutes as we took it in!
Rooms are spacious, well decorated and the kitchen comes well stocked with everything we needed.
I suspect we will return several times!
Our second visit to Bryn Golue and we wasn't dissappointed at all. Cottage was just as we had expected it to be and is very comfortable, and them views were just as stunning. Enjoyed feeding and watching the birds. Weather has been perfect. Once again we have had a lovely chilled out 2 weeks and looking forward to returning again.
Stunning property for the perfect escape
Bryn Goleu is immaculate inside and out! Perfectly situated with uninterrupted views of the bay, the impressive garden and patio have been carefully designed and landscaped and lovingly maintained. The peace and quiet immediately helps you unwind from the routine (busy and noisy in our case) and relax with those people who really matter in luxurious surroundings.
Inside the property is equally as impressive, 3 relatively small but very comfortable bedrooms are immediately accessed from the large, welcoming hall which then provides a spacious WC, a separate shower room with a sunken ceramic tray under an amazing rainwater shower, a well equipped utility room and finally the main family bathroom with a beautiful double ended tub, all of which have been equipped with high end fixtures and fittings.
The kitchen is a lovely space to eat, drink, chat (and dance!) being well proportioned, equipped with every cooking utensil and gadget required and helpfully a good selection of high quality plastic plates, bowls and drinking cups for the children (aged 5 & 8).
The lounge and dining space was very comfortable, with the super soft couches, wood burner, high quality TV/DVD and Bluetooth speaker stack combining to provide a great environment to have fun and switch off.
The fourth bedroom, The Crog Loft, was quite simply the tailor made sleepover den for two 8 year olds, they absolutely loved it!
All in all we had an amazing new year break at Bryn Goleu, will most definitely be returning in the future and have no hesitation in awarding a 5 star review......🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
